Greencross Vets Chandlers

Fantastic experience: From the moment we walked through the doors, we were made to feel at ease. This was no ordinary visit for us, and the compassion, professionalism, and genuine care shown by every member of the team meant more than words can express. The exceptional level of care and kindness we received as we said goodbye to our fur-baby was truly outstanding. We are incredibly grateful for everything they did and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet to anyone looking for a team that truly cares.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are amazing, every visit my big girl is made feel safe and comfortable, she has bad anxiety and the staff help her visits perfect!

Negative experience: I am very disappointed with the care my puppy received at the South Toowoomba branch. I brought him in for a blood test, but he left with noticeable swelling and bleeding around his neck (photo attached). This is not the first issue I’ve had at this location. During a previous visit, he was injured on his ear during ear hair trimming. Before this, he was cooperative at the Kearneys Spring branch, even offering his paws for nail trims. After these experiences, he has become anxious during visits, which is concerning. I understand that minor incidents can happen, but repeated injuries have affected my confidence in this clinic. I attempted to clean the area at home, but he was too uncomfortable to allow it. I would recommend other pet owners proceed with caution.

Fantastic experience: Had to say my final goodbye to my second best mate this morning.I knew it would be hard,I just didn't realise how hard it would be.Leanne and the team at Greencross Chandler were absolutely incredible,explaining what was happening every step of the way.If you love your pet take them to Greencross Chandler where they will care for them as much as you do.

Positive experience: I have been at this clinic for over 14 years with a few different vets for a range of routine and emergency issues. Their number of staff does mean some will provide a more personable service and have better bedside manner with both pets and their owners than others.

Negative experience: Very disappointed with service - we made a mistake and were 7mins late… never had issues with getting our pups nails clipped and she wouldn’t do it, wanted to sedate him cause he was wriggly … vet was rude and unprofessional

Fantastic experience: I travel from Brisbane to be seen by the lovely team at GX Chandlers, namely the Queen of patient care (and magnificent dentals) Dr Emma Santin, and to have the meticulous details of my pets' anaesthetics and radiographs in the incredibly capable hands of Nurse Tyna and Nurse Amanda. I know that my (often fear aggressive) pets are handled with care, monitored intensively and that the team are always ready to give advice days after my pets' procedures. With the welcoming exuberance of Nurse Brittany on reception to answer my questions, organise my account and to see me off (opening the door for every client she saw while I was with her) I will return again and again to keep this kind of service and care.

The vets are easy to talk to and don’t find any issue too small, no matter how I seem to panic about my pets I never leave here feeling as if I haven’t been heard or that my fur babies haven’t received the best possible care! 10/10

Fantastic experience: This is a lovely calm vet surgery. The front counter staff are absolutely brilliant, so helpful and friendly! They stock a small range of dog and cat toys and have a good selection of dog and cat foods. I completely recommend going there.

Fantastic experience: Dr Emma is friendly, knowledgeable and common sense in her approach. She is easy to talk to, listens to/answers all questions and doesn't rush appointments. Good car parking and spacious waiting room. Additional calming spray and blankets for nervous cats.

Fantastic experience: I’ve since moved far away but we make the day journey to come and see Dr Emma & the wonderful nursing team. They always look after our baby beans with the best fear free care and gold standard of care for my co-morbidity dawgy. Mr Leo says thank you for his fresh smile ❤️

Fantastic experience: We recently lost our beloved Shepherd Jet due to an abscess in his liver that spread & became septic in such short time. He would have been 10 years old in March. I cannot even imagine going through something like that without the care and expertise of Dr David, Dr Emma, Nurse Bridgette and Practice manager Ella by our sides. They supported and cared for not only Jet but my family as well. We have been very fortunate to have found this amazing team at Greencross Chandlers who will always be our preferred clinic. They even sent me a a condolence card with hand written wording and a packet of forget-me-nots flowers HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM 5

Positive experience: I have used this vet for my dog and cat. The care they took with my cat was very much appreciated especially as I had to put her down due to injury. But I found that with my dog I got a locum vet in and she know what she was talking about, but did not have good people skills. I was glad the vet was only a locum other I may have gone to another vet.
