Fantastic experience: Top notch service, fantastic vets. Worth it.

Fantastic experience: Last November I brought in my 12yo that suddenly declined. Ended up passing away with the Vet/nurses before they even had to put the cannula in. I was distraught as all hell, but ALL the staff were absolutely brilliant. I had been there multiple times before and always a great experience. Today, took my younger one in with a sore tail, and she’s not aggressive but can be quite snappy when nervous. Yet again, everyone handled it with ease and friendliness. Little miss left being best friends with all the staff. Best vets in my 41 years. Plus David, he’s my favourite.

Fantastic experience: Goo (who can be seen loafing even after having a microchip put in!) and I loved our time at the vet today! David, Amy and Dr Ana made us feel extremely welcome and provided high quality service. You can really tell they are working in the best interest of your pet, and not what is going to make them the most money. Will definitely bring his big brother in next! ☺️

I wasn’t planning on leaving my old boy with you today but Meg instantly made me feel like all would be fine. Which it was. Now I have a sleepy lump free boy that will feel much more comfortable in the morning. You guys are the best!!

Positive experience: So 3 years ago l lost my Alaskan Malamute Doni ! The staff were outstanding at my loss ! As a result my family has always taken our dog's to this facility for health care! However 7 weeks ago our family had to take our 3 year old Alaskan Malamute as he had an a bleeding foot scared the hell out my family and more importantly the dog in question! Once again Toowoomba family vet's came to our rescue as they had countless times before. So we were obviously obliged to pay for his care package. He came home to all intentions cured, leading vet said and l quote any future issues with this please contact us so $1700 later here we are again same issue the aforementioned veterinary service now " tagged on again " $519 for the care and same issue 7 weeks later! While l understand all the costs involved with medication etc and that Red vets receive no support from state and federal government it is hard to take that this company has to charge these amounts for the health care of animals bought in after hours!!! My question is why does this happen? Animals especially are the best cure for people with mental health issues and elderly pensioner's who struggle with these issues of cost's so it is disappointing that we have to pay for our dog that wasn't cleaned up upon first vivisit

Negative experience: I am honestly shocked by the response to the numerous emails that I sent to both this Veterinary Clinic and the other one, REDVets stating that the email was not in line with the culture of mutual respect… obviously they have absolutely no respect for me or my cat as they had not bothered to reply to my emails of which were sent daily! Perhaps if they bothered to respond to my first email I would have had no reason to continue to email them! Obviously Dr Hall, YOUR VETERINARY CLINIC has created this circumstance and your claim that I was not welcome to respond or come back to your clinic is absolutely shocking! I will not be passing on positive feedback to anyone as EVERYONE SHOULD AVOID your veterinary clinic.

Fantastic experience: We have a much loved almost 11 year old Labrador called Luka. We used to take our labs to Dr Louis Gilshenan years ago and were so happy that we found him again after moving back to Toowoomba. We would travel a distance to see this vet and his team. Highly confident that he does the best for his fur clients and family. Empathic and truly loves animals. Thank you for all you do. Truly valued and appreciated. We also notice that it starts at the reception the warmth and helpfulness

Negative experience: Went for our post operation “free visit” for our five month old pup. On the way out the door we asked if we needed to pay for anything at all because we had got a topical gel for pups eye, the receptionist said no and that everything was all good… definitely wanted to make sure because it’s happened before. Got home, an hour went by & received a call saying we had a payment. One for the gel which we thought we would’ve had to pay from the start and another payment for a thing we had no idea what it even was until they told us that it was from when our pup was taken to the back to check his eye…obviously wasn’t a free check up after all & the communication was out of the door. Definitely won’t be going back as it was a huge hassle and confusing visit.

Fantastic experience: TFV is the premier vet in Toowoomba. I highly recommend them. All staff are extremely friendly, caring and knowledgeable.

Positive experience: Just wanted to say thank you to the wonderful staff at Toowoomba Family Vets. We recently had to get their assistance to send I our beloved “ Blanket” to doggy heaven. The kind and considerate staff made this difficult time so much easier. You are a fantastic service.

Negative experience: Rachel Allen should be ashamed of her unprofessional outbursts. There are plenty of other vets in town who would treat clients (and companions) far better than she. Unbelievable behaviour.

After a thorough assessment the problem was diagnosed and appropriate interventions taken. I now have a very happy healthy pup. Thankyou so much.

Fantastic experience: Toowoomba Family Vets were amazing with Alfie who had his second puppy vaccination there. He also did puppy preschool with one of their very nurses and I was really impressed with the professional, fun and informative course! I would definitely recommend their puppy preschool to anyone who hasn't had a puppy or if you need a refresher. I would definitely recommend Toowoomba Family Vets, especially because they have all of the resources of the emergency department next door to them.

Negative experience: Took my dog for medical attention and was seen by a young, inexperienced and incompetent vet who tried to sell me unnecessary and very expensive treatment. Never going back and do not recommend this practice.

Negative experience: Do not recommend, took my dog in for a check up due to being lethargic and off her food. They told us she is very unwell and needs to be seen, but won't start any sort of treatments until they have a up front fee of $500. Money was on the way and being a low income earner was very tough to get the money together, and still refused going further. Would have rathered send the animal home then to diagnose and treat. Turns out she had parvo and could've died if they waited any longer.

Fantastic experience: Honestly the best vet in town and iv tried most. They have seperate dog and cat wards, the most beautiful staff, human charities they support and give the best advise/care. And best of all they never overcharge. My cat had all of her teeth removed and was up and playing and eating like her normal self the very next day. You cannot trust your fur-kids with a better group of people.

Fantastic experience: Took my toy poodle a few weeks ago for check over and teeth clean as her breath was shocking due to my lack of understanding of toy poodle teeth. They did a great job and she recovered very fast thanks to drip, Dr David rang me before all extractions which was five in total as he did preventative care and I was not shocked at the cost. She does not smell any more or excessive lick.. Nurses were awesome and Dr Dave gave us long time and picked up a problem we forgot to mention, We got blood test result and a lovely passport. We will take her back next year.
