Fantastic experience: Wow! What a beautiful & friendly veterinary clinic . I highly recommend this clinic & the beautiful staff that work there. Huge thank you to Maria,for the utmost care of Slinky this morning. With his vaccinations, worming etc, even if he was a live wire. Lol.

Negative experience: ⚠️ DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET TO Garden City Vet! ⚠️ They'll rip you off, dismiss your concerns, put your animal in danger, neglect their duty of care, and might as well be writing prescriptions with their eyes closed. My pet's condition worsened severely due to their negligence, and they still had the nerve to charge me an arm and a leg. All they care about is money. And dont you dare expect or ask them to do their job because you will get abused. I will be taking this further and pressing charges for what the have done to my baby. ABANDON ALL HOPE! Their 'care' is a joke, their prices are highway robbery, and their 'vets' are glorified butchers. I wouldn't trust them with a goldfish. I wouldn't even trust them with a baloon animal. IF YOU VALUE YOUR PET'S LIFE, AVOID THIS DISASTER ZONE AT ALL COSTS! 0/10, would not recommend to my worst enemy. I only put one star because i couldn't put zero. This so called 'vet' should be closed down permanently. ⚠️ DO RIGHT BY YOUR BELOVED PET AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS VET!! ⚠️

I went in fear and trepidation of not being emotionally supported, this was 5 months ago, and can only put into words now, the 2 beautiful angels (staff) were so supportive of my boy and my pain, explaining everything as it was happening. From the moment you walk in, she makes both you and your pet feel completely at ease. She takes the time to listen, explain everything clearly, and genuinely cares about the wellbeing of every animal she sees. Her professionalism and expertise are second to none, and it’s so reassuring knowing my dog Bella is in such capable hands. Dr. Mansfield goes above and beyond every single time, and it’s obvious she truly loves what she does. We are so grateful to have her as our vet. She’s simply wonderful!

I trust Garden City Vet Care and I know that they have my dogs best interests at heart.

For regular visits they are also very caring and almost always on time. They are not owned by big corporations and the vets you see are the owners and you can tell they care. 100% best vets in town and worth the drive from every part of town to get there

Fantastic experience: So grateful for Garden City Vets and their unmatched dedication and care for my little heeler Maggie. Maggie had an unfortunate accident with a horse and required complicated surgery to her nose/face. The vets all did an amazing job and she is able to breathe normally again when it was a very real possibility she may not. Maria particularly has been amazing through this whole process and so very caring, always making sure to check in on Maggie over the last two weeks. Thank you so much Garden City, forever thankful!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking our pets to Garden City Vets for many years now, seeing Maria. Maria is the most caring vet and always takes her time to talk with you about any concerns you may have. My old dog had to be put down and Maria was just so wonderfully caring at such a hard time for us, giving us the time we needed to say goodbyes to our beautiful girl. Our new puppy is so settled whenever she comes into the vet, which makes it much less stressful for us as puppy parents. The front desk girls are all so friendly too and Ziggy loves the attention she gets every time we visit. Definitely the best vet surgery in town!

Fantastic experience: I am always so continuously impressed by the lovely staff and care received at Garden City Vet Care. My doggo had a terrible start to life as a pup, she is a nervous dog that always needs extra hands and patience as she is scared of clinics and dislikes dogs. In every visit she has left the clinic happy, bubbly, relaxed and safe- this is such a huge relief to me. Vet visits have become SO much more relaxed and calm since using GCVC, she loves Dr Kyla and pats :) My dog means everything to me so I love knowing she's in safe and caring hands there. As I work in a similar field the clinic has also been a huge help to me and the local community in other ways too which is deeply appreciated beyond what words can say. I think it is very fitting you have the word 'Care' in the clinic name as the staff really do care and it shows in the way you treat all the animals and their owners ♡

Fantastic experience: It was the hardest day I could have had having to put my two best friends down. The staff were so loving and caring and allowed me the time to say good bye to my beautiful dogs. I can't recommend this vet highly enough. They actually care about you and your animals.

Fantastic experience: I'd give 10 stars if I could!! Our little kittie Hades was extremely sick for 3 weeks and not improving, so we changed over to Garden City Vet Care. Upon seeing Maria, he was diagnosed correctly, had all the appropriate medication and within one day started to improve. I've had pets my entire life, and Maria is the nicest, kindest vet I have ever been to: compassionate and caring, extremely knowledgeable, even texted us daily to track his progress. She saved our baby and we are sooo very grateful. The reception staff are kind and friendly, and the pricing was half we paid elsewhere previously. Genuinely caring vets who's main aim is to help animals. My husband & I cannot recommend them enough

Negative experience: YOU CAN GET A SCRIPT! After 6 rounds of antibiotics from this vet at $70 a pop I found out they can write a script and i can get it from the pharmacy for $15. Total extortion, I even asked if there was a way I could get it cheaper or a concession price as we are struggling financially and they said, "no, that's the price" and proceeded to charge their HUGE mark up 6 times. ASK FOR A SCRIPT!! Feel free to mention my name so they know you're on to their SCAM.

Fantastic experience: Took my dog who had been sick over the weekend to GCV, and was super impressed with the care and treatment. Very happy to see my dog physically assessed properly and with due care, and the history taken in to account, rather than just going straight to invasive and expensive diagnostics like I have encountered at other vets Nadia and the team were lovely, I thought very reasonably priced and most importantly, my dog is doing much better!

Fantastic experience: I’m so thankful that I found this vet when I moved house. Dr Alice has been nothing but amazing, her priority is the care and comfort of your pet. It’s never about the money. We’ve had her care for our two border collies that love her to bits & our visits have become almost monthly over the last year with our 16yo cat. I’ve never felt such pure compassion from a vet, as well as the surrounding staff as I did yesterday… making the decision to humanely euthanise a pet so they don’t suffer in the final stages of life is such a hard decision. The care & comfort provided by Alice yesterday will never be forgotten

Negative experience: SECOND MISDIAGNOSED CASE My friends mother took her very unwell cat here and was sent home with antibiotics when, in fact, she had a snake bite and needed anti venom. She passed away. It could have been avoided if this vet did a thorough check. They told me that my cat was just fat. But I got a second opinion and he actually had liver cancer. The fat was actually fluid a hole 800ml was drained. He passed away on Monday the 14/12/20. Never going back to this vet!! Now this vet keeps ringing me to tell me to take down my review. Where's the sensitivity.
