Very knowledgeable, helpful, understanding and are really friendly to their patients and parents. I really do appreciate their honesty especially when it’s not the news you want to hear.

Fantastic experience: Thank you Westbrook Vet Clinic for your professionalism, kindness and care when I recently took my cat Tuco to be neutered. Tuco had been a stray and very anxious about his trip to the surgery. The staff were so sweet and caring and even provided him with a certificate of bravery when he went home!

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank Westbrook Vets enough for their incredibly kind team, and genuine approach to providing the best care for my late cavalier, Bailey. We recently lost our lovely girl due to heart complications. We brought her in urgently with no notice at all and the team immediately took her into their care and did all they could to help her. They were so caring and attentive the entire time and always have been for all of Bailey’s vet visits. They allowed us to stay for hours until we made the decision to put her down and even gave us a private room to deal with our emotions, allowing other loved ones to come in and say goodbye. Even afterwards they have sent a personal card with a nose print and paw print of her to offer their condolences. Thank you so very much for all that you have done for Bailey and our family. She always loved her vet visits with your wonderful team

Negative experience: Unprofessional and disappointing management. Require educating in communication, people skills and humanity. Hope they do better with your animals as I would never let them near mine.

We also had to have one of our beloved dogs put to sleep and the staff made the whole experience less painful for us and took the greatest care of Jet.

Fantastic experience: We recently needed to get our 17yo cat (Indie) put down, and Lucinda and the team at Westbrook Vets were nothing short of amazing. Not only did they fit us in at short notice, but provided the most dignified experience with such kindness and compassion in our dark hours. We asked for them to shave some fur off our cat so my girls and I can make some sentimental items to remember Indie by, and they were happy to oblige our random request. But somehow between the door and our car parked out front, I misplaced the little packet of fur. So we went back in and asked if they could take off a bit more. I was so embarrassed, but they were so so very kind and compassionate. They asked about Indie, and got to know him (and us) even in that short visit. The dignity afforded us was amazing. What a beautiful bunch of humans who extended such grace and kindness to myself, my daughter and iur beloved Indie cat, in a very sad situation. We are forever grateful!

Fantastic experience: If you aren't taking your pet to Westbrook Veterinary Surgery, you are doing your pet a disservice! We were using a different vet in Toowoomba for almost 13 years. My parents used them as well for over 20 years. We thought the other vet was quite good till we took our almost 13 year old shar pei there after noticing blood in his mouth. They took a 2 second look at it and said he has a melanoma, he has a few weeks left, so all you can do is take him home and love him till it's time. We were totally shocked and very upset at this terrible news. After processing the terrible news over the next couple of days, we were a little upset that they didn't offer any options, tests or treatments for him. We decided to get a second opinion and took him to Westbrook veterinary surgery. Here they actually took the time to do blood work whilst we were there and we had the results in a matter of minutes. They also booked him in for the next morning to spend the day there so he could get fluids into him and have xrays and a proper examination and the lump tested. Unfortunately the diagnosis was the same BUT they gave us multiple treatment options instead of just sending us home with his death sentence. We decided to just medicate him as the other options would have deteriorated his quality of life for little to no extension on his life expectancy. The day before he passed, he actually perked up and ate 2 whole pieces of steak so we thought he still had a few weeks left. The next morning he had deteriorated over night to the point he could barely walk. We rang the vet at opening time and discussed having them come to our house to euthanize him so he could be in familiar surroundings and comfortable. They only had one vet on that day but shuffled everything around and could be there at 1.30pm that day. Our beautiful boy started rapidly declining and we rang the vet and said he wouldn't make it till 1.30 so once again they went above and beyond and had the vet come to our house in under 45 mins. They were absolutely amazing on the hardest day of our lives, saying good bye to our best mate of almost 13 years. Then we received the most amazing card in the mail from them. It was a hand written condolence card, with such a loving and personalised message. It also had his nose print and paw print and a little glass vial with some of his hair in it. We were blown away. In the 2 weeks that they knew our boy, they remembered everything we told them about him, including his nickname. I have never seen such personalised and caring service ever. We are so glad you got to meet Chubbs and we will never forget what you guys there did for us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts and you will definitely be seeing us again with our other boy. ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic experience: We recently had our big boy Duke in to see the team at Westbrook Veterinary Surgery. Fighting a bad infection, our minds were put at ease knowing he was in good hands. The entire team were super friendly, caring and treated Duke like a part of the family. Excellent communication from the staff and clear instruction on follow up medications. Fantastic experience: The team at Westbrook Vets have been absolutely amazing every time I’ve brought my cat Wicket in. The team is incredibly kind, compassionate, and understanding — it’s clear they truly care about the animals they look after. Yesterday and today Wicket saw Laura and the team, who showed so much compassion and love for him! Wicket can be a bit anxious at the vet like most animals are, but they always take the time to make him feel safe with lots of love and pats! The communication is excellent too — I always feel informed and reassured about what’s happening such as quotes, medicine and aftercare for Wicket. I couldn’t ask for better vet for Wicket. ‍⬛

Fantastic experience: We recently had a feral kitten turn up at our property and of course we have adopted her. However "Miss Marple" ( her new name)was riddled with fleas, worms and had cat flu. The lovely staff at Westbrook vets gave us lots of advice and Dr Tracey prescribed her medication for the cat flu. She is bouncing back and is looking forward to a wonderful life of being spoilt after a very rough start

Fantastic experience: Huge shoutout to the incredible staff who took care of Kevin! He went in for an ear cleaning and a few teeth pulled - not that he has forgiven anyone yet. Despite Kevin’s best efforts to look deeply betrayed, the team was kind, patient, and clearly pros at dealing with dramatic dogs. They treated him like royalty, even as he glared like he’d been personally wronged. Thanks to them, he is now cleaner, healthier, and just a little more toothless. Couldn’t ask for better care - highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I feel safe and comfortable bringing my dogs to Westbrook Vets because I know they always take the best care of them. Dr Tracey is a fantastic vet, she always takes the time to listen to my concerns and explains everything thoroughly to me. Fantastic experience: The best experience and service every time, with a recent visit we found a large tumour on our little boy. The surgery was able to be done swiftly and all care was taken. Photos were sent on the day as well as check ins to let us know our puppy was doing well. A bravery certificate sent home as well as more follow ups to check he was doing ok post op. After a suspected snake bite they went above and beyond to ensure she was all okay. Taking blood from a difficult feral cat, takes a special vet and an enormous amount of bravery. She lives to snack another day.
