Positive experience: I took my 13 years old border collie there because she wasn't eating much and dr Emma did a ultrasound on her uterus and didn't tell me how much it was going to cost but otherwise she was good with Missy and gave me pain relief for her I know Missy isn't well I'm just keeping her comfortable and she's eating a little and drinking water I have been going to this vet for years

Fantastic experience: I recently visited Dr Emma at North Geelong Veterinary Clinic and had such a wonderful experience. She was kind, professional, and truly caring. My dog has been struggling with skin allergies, and Dr Emma recommended a new medication that has worked extremely well. I’m so grateful for her expertise and thoughtful approach. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and compassionate vet.

Took our doggo for a check and had a full experience of care and consideration for both my little chi and his health and up coming treatment. The staff made what can be an anxious time more than pleasant and felt both myself and my pet were valued.

Fantastic experience: They have been my vet since my first ever pooch in 2010. I have had a few different pets since and each one has attended this vet. Their knowledge, professionalism and love for animals is unmatched. They are compassionate when there is bad news, honest if they need more specialised opinions and quick to sort out any issues promptly and in the best interest of your animal.

Negative experience: I am a client and have had multiple pets come through the vet and am unsatisfied to say the least. I am entitled to give my review, but don’t feel comfortable going into detail due the sensitivity of the topic and the hostile, agressive and unprofessional responses on other people’s reviews. I think the way that other people’s animals medical records have been publicised in response to their experience is enough said about how this vet operates. Not interested in a back and forth, just leaving a review about my experience.

Fantastic experience: We recently had to send our beautiful cat over the rainbow bridge. North Geelong vets were nothing but extremely professional, incredibly supportive, kind,and non-judgmental. I always find them to be so, and would not take my pets anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: We had another lovely visit for our old girls yearly check up and vaccination. First time at the new location. Staff are always kind and patient with our anxious pooch.

Fantastic experience: NGVC is one of the best clinics we have dealt with. Have been going there about 20 years now with multiple pets. They have assisting in everything from Vaccinations for new arrivals all the way through end of life care. Their care, compassion and commitment to each of our fur babies has been exemplary.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday l attended North Geelong Vets in Vines Rd, with my 16 year old beloved Cat, Kimmy. Right from the moment l stepped into the reception l was greeted with warm, friendly and caring attitude. The Vet l saw was absolutely understanding, caring, gentle, kind and very informative. I made the decision to let Kimmy go to ease her suffering and my decision was met with understanding, support and so much kindness. The Vet made sure Kimmys passing was as nice and easy. She wrapped Kimmy in a blanket like a baby and l cuddled Kimmy. The Vet asked me if l was OK to start, l said yes. The Vet then talked to me about Kimmy stories until Kimmy gently slipped away. The experience even though sad was much easier than l expected. Then today l received a lovely bunch of flowers and a lovely card from North Geelong Vets. I can't thank these wonderful people enough. I'm so sorry, l didn't take notice of your names so l could mention you in this review

Fantastic experience: Amazing empathy from all staff when we unfortunately had to put our 17 year cat to sleep. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them for all services.

Fantastic experience: I cannot speak highly enough of all the staff at North Geelong Vet clinic. They go so over and above every time. They care so much for the animals and the animals families. Our cat Charles ‍⬛ went in for a routine vaccination, 12 hours later -we were worried as he was off his food and didn’t seem himself. They gave him an emergency appointment- saw him instantly, and started his treatment so rapidly with so much love and care. The follow up care we were provided was so over and above and we appreciated it more than we can say. They called multiple times to check on him and everyone at the clinic was beyond fabulous. He needed a few reviews and they were generous enough not to charge us for the actual reviews but just the medications he required which was so generous and lovely. So Thankyou so much. We will never go anywhere else! Thanks so much!

Fantastic experience: Nev is an incredible vet and really took the time to thoroughly check out our pup, and communicated information to us clearly and is so knowledgeable. She even personally called us the second Ruby's bloodwork was finished to give us an update even though she didn't have to. You can rest assured your fur baby is in good hands with Nev. We really appreciate these kind vets and can't wait for the new location to open!

Positive experience: We’ve bn coming to Geelong North for over 10 years have had a Great Dane(Boo) and cat(Spooky) both passed. Geelong were brilliant and very professional which is why we’re still going there with our Furbie no3 (Rei)

Fantastic experience: My dog and my cat have been going here for years. The vets here are all so knowledgeable and always go above and beyond. They spend a lot time explaining things really well and if you have serious concerns they will always tell you to come straight in. I am a helicopter parent when it comes to my pets so it takes a lot to satisfy my high standards of care and these guys definitely do that

Positive experience: Took our dog with injury to leg, after consultation Vet said if still limping bad tomorrow bring her in and they would xray. Rang the next day to see the vet as she was still limping quite bad. Receptionist said wouldn't be able to see her for over a week? If it was broken would need to be re broken and set. On a 5mth old would be a life long issue with arthritis. Rang another vet and visited next day. Gave her a thorough check over gave her some anti inflammatory, suspected bruised bone. They even followed up next day with a phone call to check and asked if we would need to bring her back in.

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fantastic vet. We've been seeing them with our pets since I was a kid. I went today for my kitten's third vaccination and the service I received left me wanting to leave a review. The reception staff are very kind - clearly animal lovers. I'm terrible with names, but the veterinarian I saw today was extremely nice, both to me and my kitten. She explained everything I needed to know and addressed my concerns clearly. She even gave my kitten a treat after the jab which he enjoyed! Could not recommend them enough. Great staff, great location, great facilities.

Fantastic experience: I have been there with cats, for over 10 years. My ex wife still goes even though she is not in the area. My cat 3year old got very sick very fast. I felt comfortable with the vet and I felt like I wasn't getting ripped off. It was extremely difficult to hear that my young cat wasn't going to make it. The vets and staff were very sympathetic and gave me time to say goodbye. My cats life was taken without pain or stress. I am very grateful to the vet and staff for the treatment of my cat and myself. Highly recommend this vet.

Fantastic experience: this vet has always been good to my dog skye they have always helped us in any situation we have asked they are super friendly and I would and have recommended my friends to this place the best part is they are super close to us just down the road. so it's a win win. this is Skye's last visit he she had a cone as she cut her toe and to prevent her from biting the bandage off . she wasn't impressed but she's all better now.

Negative experience: Took my dog there for 18 months for a condition and on four occasions they charged me $350 to $400 without progress. (Was correctly treated by a different vet who only charged me $138) Nice people - but clearly are the most expensive vet in Geelong . . . by a long shot.
