Fantastic experience: Dr Belinda was very thorough and a pleasure to deal with when l took our sick husky in for emergency treatment. She did a full body check and helped us with Anna's recovery. She is now on the mend after a very stressful few days. Words can not express how grateful are. We really thought we would lose her. They even took the time to check in a few days later to see how she was going. I highly recommend lara vet hospital and will not go to anyone else. The care and passion they show is outstanding.

Fantastic experience: Bella, was first time seen by Dr Thien. He is amazing, we like it when he explains everything thoroughly, answers all our questions and give you options for the treatment. Very gentle as well with Bella. Additionally, we have been taking two of our furbaby in this clinic and they are all amazing from the staff to other vets as well. We never felt we have been let down. Also the clinic is always immaculately clean, smells good as well. Lastly, we know looking for a vet that is right and the one you can trust for your furbaby is difficult, we were the same before, but luckily so far we just have good experince with Lara Pet Hospital. We can only say, give them a try see how it goes. We hope you get the same experience like us.

More importantly though, every single vet we’ve seen here treat all of our pets with love and care! At our last appointment the vet had our dogs name on a white board with a love heart next to it, and it made my day, I actually called my husband to tell him how awesome the vet was that we’d just seen, he was so good with Tex and explained everything in a way I’d understand. I never leave here wondering what’s just happened, everyone explains everything and always give an opportunity to ask questions! Thanks for all you do ♥️

Fantastic experience: Since moving to Lara 2 years ago, we have been bringing our Greyhound Uno to Lara Pet Hopsital and every time we have been more than happy with the care given to our boy. Owning greyhounds you know that choosing a vet that is aware of greyhound traits, behaviours and physiology is important especially for procedures that require them to go under anaesthesia and during Unos dental clean I felt so reassured by the staff that they knew what they were doing and that our boy would be in great hands. So if you are looking for a vet, I’d highly recommend these guys! Another note to add is that for a lot of appointments I’ve had to bring my 1 year old daughter along and every time the reception staff have rushed to open the door for me to make it easier to get through with a pram and a big greyhound which is so lovely as sometimes the smaller gestures mean the most.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our dogs and cat to Lara Pet Hospital for nearly 4 years now and can't fault their care and compassion. One of our initial visits was a check up for our senior dog, who at the time was showing signs that his quality of life was not great. The vets helped us work through what this looked like for him and guided us in how to make his life comfortable for the time he had left. He was 16 at this point and was really suffering, but we were trying to hold on. Ultimately after a few months we made the decision to let him go over the rainbow bridge and be with his brother that we had also lost a few months before. Their care afterwards was exceptional, they checked in to see that we were okay and sent a sympathy card.

Fantastic experience: We chose Lara Pet Hospital because it’s local, but they’ve honestly impressed us across every visit we’ve had so far (around 6–7 in total). When our puppy Duke had a cough, they took precautions to assess him before we even went into the clinic. Knowing how easily things like kennel cough can spread, that really stood out. They checked him in the car first before bringing him inside, which gave me a lot of confidence in how careful they are. We most recently took him in for dental surgery and they handled everything really well. They explained it clearly, kept things straightforward, and the final cost actually came in under the estimate. The staff are not only friendly and knowledgeable, but really generous with their time. They take the time to gather all the information and offer advice before suggesting a visit, and they do it freely without any cost. They also follow up a few days after every visit (without fail) to check in, which says so much about the level of care they provide. I've been consistently impressed. I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a vet that genuinely cares about animals, is affordable and has a beautiful environment for your pets. Every time we come to visit, we enjoy it knowing the care advice and service is always exemplary. I’ve never encountered such incredible dedication to patient and family care. I wholeheartedly recommend the practice and want to acknowledge everyone for their exceptional service, kindness and care. Saying goodbye to my beautiful Border Collie Diesel recently was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. However, the care and support I received from Lara Pet Hospital made it a little easier. A very special and heartfelt thanks to Taylor, Julia and Olivia for being so present and supportive during this very sad time. If it was not for them, this time would have been so much more difficult. The Lara community is so lucky to have such beautiful people in Lara looking after our fur babies.
