Fantastic experience: Abosutely love warrawong vets, have been using them the past 20 years for our family dogs and now my dogs.

Fantastic experience: Our little dog Roxi had the best care from these guys. Ed was amazing and took the safe route for our 13 year old baby. He altered the original plan after finding some complications, moved surgery dates and kept checking in. Really happy with Roxis foot, and she had her teeth cleaned at the same time!

Fantastic experience: Absolutely fabulous they take care of all my babies so caring and supportive especially recently when I had to put my oldest girl to rest❣

Fantastic experience: A big shout out to all the staff at warrawong vets. I'm reasonably new to the area and have 2 dogs unfortunately I had an emergency with both of them one day and didn't know who to call. The staff at warrawong vets got me straight in and went above and beyond to help me and take care of my dogs. Fast forward to 2 weeks ago and we unexpectedly had to put my mum in to a nursing home and try find a home for her cat, mind you my mum is not a client of theirs however they once again went above and beyond to help me re-home mums cat. I honestly can't talk highly enough of this business and the people who work there. They are honestly people who care and are extremely reasonably priced. THANKS AGAIN WARRAWONG VETS!!!

Negative experience: Very rude staff, think they can tell people who don’t even visit their vets what to do. There’s one staff member who is constantly rude to me and she tries to tell me what to do whenever she sees me and my dogs. I won’t name names but she knows who she is because it happens too often. I live close to the vet, I’m allowed to walk past it, I don’t see you guys biting off anyone else’s heads that walk past.

Negative experience: Rude receptionist that lacks proper communication

Negative experience: We do not take our babies there as the nurses that work there, especially Brooke lack tremendous people skills. She is rude and obnoxious. We always take or babies to Green cross vets, where staff are helpful and know how to communicate. We know our babies are well cared for.

Fantastic experience: Truly first class service and professional advice from an outstanding team with regards to informative consults to major and minor surgeries. I have been coming here for over 20 years and still travel down from Sydney for the level of care and support I always receive.

Fantastic experience: This team has been amazing to me and my animals, super kind and compassionate, full of genuine advice and comforting concern. This type of care and experience has no price so am more than happy to pay and they have been more than reasonable. We as a community are extremely lucky to have this wonderful team look after our loved animals here in the Illawarra❤️

Fantastic experience: Dr Durga and her team are fantastic. They are caring and compassionate. They really care about you and your pets. I have a reactive dog and they do everything to make him and me as comfortable as possible. When my other dog had to have emergency surgery Dr Durga even gave me a call to ask if I was ok and the surgery wasn't even being performed there. All the staff are wonderful 10/10!

Negative experience: Rang yesterday regarding a serious condition of my dog diagnosed by Dapto vets seeking a second opinion asking if pensioner discounts available met with cold customer service abrupt phone manner and was informed that a second opinion with Warrawong Vets would be $125 not the usual $99 consultation fee solely due to the fact that it would be a second opinion even after explaining I was on a pension and living week to week struggling like we all are, I know I am not alone here many are in the same boat, my opinion is that this is disgusting predatory pricing, the explanation was this is our policy, well sorry to say your policy is as a vile as your attitude, this was a real big kick in the guts for someone trying to find out if a professional opinion for high $1800 surgery cost plus after care medications around $200-$300 was accurate, my dog is 13 yo and a much loved pet she may not jhave long left but I want her years to be as many as possible I just lost one dog losing this one will be tough I took all 4 of my dogs to Warrawong vets 10 years or so ago got them chipped and vaccinated this will never happen again you have lost a customer here pathetic cold and predatory and very bad phone manner I dont understrand what is wrong with people these days

Negative experience: Something isn't right in this practice, our dog went in for minor surgery in and out same day came out of there needing professional 1 on 1 training as he did not trust anyone except for us He was a extremely social and friendly dog before going in there for surgery it definitely has something to do with how he was handled before surgery

Negative experience: WORST VET EVER. I was away for work when my mum called to say my dog was unwell and collapsed. I told her to take him here. She called and explained it was an emergency and they said they had no appointments available. She stressed how urgent but they didn't care. What an absolute disgrace. How can they call themselves Vets. Vets are supposed to be understanding and compassionate but in this case and others it seems they've FAILED. Clinic has gone down hill since the main guy vet left

Fantastic experience: You can tell that the vet/vet nurses do their jobs because they love animals and want the best for them - they kindly called the day after my cat was castrated to check up on him. The pricing is transparent and very reasonable, and the staff are always very receptive to questions and concerns you have. Would give more stars if I could :)

Fantastic experience: Came in today in rush as I suspected my dog had eaten rat bait. This was confirmed by the receptionists Robyn & Brooke. Their professional level of compassion & empathy did wonders to assure me my pet was in great hands. Freya went straight in to be given the necessary treatment to induce vomiting. The vet came to speak to me & gave me a rundown of the process & situation. All of this happened very fast which is exactly what you need in an emergency. Freya has a follow up appointment in 2 days to check her blood. I will sleep soundly knowing she has been treated & cared for by professionals. Kudos to the team at Warrawong Vets.

Negative experience: Tried to ring to book my puppy in for his vaccination and the lady asked me to take it off loud speaker, I told her if I took it off loud speaker I won't hear her. Then she was rude and I said maybe you should shut the ladies up in the background and she'll be able to hear me.. she said something so I hung up and am deciding to take my business elsewhere

Fantastic experience: I took my Cavoodle to Warrawong Vets on Wednesday 20 August 2025. I rang for an appointment at 9 am and was allocated one at 12 noon. The receptionist was efficiënt and friendly. Dr Ed looked after little guy. Ed was friendly, professional and efficient. A great experience all round. I highly recommend Warrawong Vets.

Fantastic experience: Our pug had bad breath issues and surgery for our older pug was suggested at first however the vet said to try something first, remove feeding her kibble and give half teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Give her veggies and raw mince meat as she has minimal teeth. Worked a charm! My out has great breath now and no need for risky and expensive surgery. Thanks for the experienced advice!

Negative experience: Not the place it used to be to be. Sad really. They are very rude here. Especially the Owner. And Collin’s not there any more hence any bad reviews at all.

Fantastic experience: Always on time, parking,park in a straight line and you are able to fit 4 cars Outside the front Door, and the Lady's are really nice at the front Desk

Negative experience: Took our dog to be scanned and after being charged $830 we found out that there was nothing conclusive. After explaining that $830 was a lot of money to find nothing I was made to feel like I was the one with the issue. Since then, we received a phone call that I was abusive to the vet and the nurse. Not the case. We have now been told to take our pets elsewhere. After 12 years of taking our pets there I feel that since the gentleman vet that used to be there is no longer there, the place is just a way to extract as much money as they can out of pet owners. Shame shame shame.

Fantastic experience: Lovely explain everything to you and even help with people who can help with the expenses. So good with my dog. They really looked after him so well and even checked in with a phone call after he came home. Great vet's

Fantastic experience: I have always been impressed with the care the vets here offer as well as the nurses and staff. My cat was formerly under the care of Dr Pinney who was wonderful and I found Dr Ed just as excellent. Patient, kindly and easy to follow. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants a really good vet at affordable prices.

Negative experience: do not trust theses people, they prey on people that love there animal and rip u off.told me my dog had congstive heart failure, over charged me for meds,charging me 40 for 15 tablets it comes in bottles of 100 for 30. and he only had kennel cough.can be treated at home. so they charged though the roof for nothing. im on a disability pension. do yourt self a favour ,avoid these thieves they dont love animals just money

Fantastic experience: Have been going to Warrawong vets for many years. They have always been friendly, helpful and courteous. With prices that are reasonable. They have been caring for all my pets, currently it's just these two. A 19 year old staffy and the very energetic 4 year old Kelpie.

Fantastic experience: I use this vet for about 16 years for 3 different dogs and one cat and I have no ward of complain. Ona of my dogs had 3 operation on tumor and they took excellent care of him, extended his life for quite few years and was affordable price.

Fantastic experience: I found an injured red wattlebird in the backyard, cute little guy who hopped away from me and kept jumping out of my hands and hard sharp talons that dug into my fingers. Took him to this vet and the woman at the front happily took it in. Took less than a minute.

Fantastic experience: We cannot recommend the team at Warrawong Vets enough. The team are devoted to doing the best to get your pet back to good health. They aren’t in it for money, or longevity of treatment like other vets in the area, and all staff work their hearts out for the love of animals and they completely understand how much your pet means to you. After over two months of treatment at our previous vet, our young border collie who we nearly put down was back running around within 11 days! And as for our Kelpie, years of ongoing pain management was previously wasted, one visit and a surgery with Warrawong Vets and she’s back to complete health! We owe this team both of our pets lives and we’ll never be able to thank them enough. We’ll never look past this vet for our dogs’ care!

Negative experience: If i could give a review of zero stars i certainly would! Rang up & got some lovely advice from a nurse regarding my dog who was absolutely amazing & booked an appointment for the next morning.. unfortunately missed that appointment due to things turning urgent & taking my dog to another vet for an emergency app last night. Didn't get hold of warrawong vets in time to let them know I wouldn't be attending ( this was due to personal reasons but still no excuse when some one is trying to run a business i do understand) any way i was absolutley shocked & disgusted by the abusive phone call i got from reception this morning informing me that i missed an app in a very attacky condesending way & that i will have a $25 fee added to my acc, when I apologised & tried to explain the situation i was shut down spoken over & when I tried to speak up for myself again & explain my situation again & said if this is the service they offer I will not be using their business again, I was furthermore abused & told that i am indeed the rude one, to forget about the $25 fee your no longer welcome here....just wow?! absolutely disgusting behavior! Very unprofessional! that is not how you run a business! Abusing people & demanding money off them is one thing but the cold heartless women couldn't even ask if my dog is ok. Disgraceful, disgusting behavior shame really that other staff that they are judged by the recepionists behavior but if thats who they choose to have as front of staff to be reception for their business & represent their company then thats thier problem i guess. I have had family going to this vet for around 20 years but will never recomend, or use this service again & have advised family to do the same.
