Fantastic experience: I can not rate the treatment and care from Dr Emily highly enough. Having a Maltese x Chihuahua who is extreamly protective due to domestic violence then he was attacked by a German shepherd yet every staff member from reception to Dr Emily gave Teddy was nothing but the best service possible. Dr Emily was amazing with Teddy, took her time to ensure she gained his trust. Having a vet who understands aggressive dogs and what has caused the issues and not just saying he's aggressive give him these tranquilisers like my previous vet did. Thank you so much for making our first visit such an easy experience. You all rock!

Fantastic experience: I’ve just moved back to Townsville with my beautiful WA rescue dog Maverick. Due to my new job I need to put him into doggy daycare a couple of times a week, which I was very apprehensive about as he does have some separation anxiety. He just spent his 3rd day there today & apprehensive I will be no more!!! The whole team have been so welcoming, but a special call out to Maddy who went above & beyond today to look after my lil boy. Maddy told me that she was just doing her job, but she did far more than that & Maverick & I are greatly appreciative. If you need a place to leave your pup where you won’t need to worry about the care they get……………this is the place. Thank you Maddy

Positive experience: I use Dogtopia regularly, and the doggie aunts and uncles there are fantastic. My guy gets REALLY excited for his "school days."

Fantastic experience: We take our pet dog to this Vet regularly for his injections and general health check ups. The veterinary surgeon is incredibly thorough and truly cares about the well-being of our dog. We know that our dog is in good hands each and every visit when we come here so we truly appreciate the professionalism and level of care our dog receives from the staff here on each visit. I highly recommend this practice for all of our animals needs.

Fantastic experience: Took my 78kg Boerboel here for vaccines. Oddy turns every vet visit into a game of WWE smackdown - which he usually wins because he's enormous - so it's been difficult to get him vaccinated. It's nigh on impossible to just jab him in the scruff the normal way and his vaccines need to be up to date for kennelling. I was absolutely inspired by how Emily the vet tackled it. She smeared the end of her exam desk with half a jar of cream cheese spread, dismantled the needle from the syringe barrel so she could jab the needle in first - and he looked at her in curiosity for a moment, then went back to his cream cheese - then she attached the syringe barrel and injected the vaccine. It was SUCH a good way to tackle it - if she'd left the syringe barrel on the needle the weight would've pulled out of his neck. If she'd tried both movements - jab and push - in one go, he would've kicked off. Such a simple trick and yet so effective. (And they're very patient with the slobber, the bouncing, and the paw swats. Possibly BYO cream cheese for us next visit, he pretty much emptied the jar.)

Negative experience: My daughter and Son-in-law took their rspca Kitten to My Pet Hub, he was well care for, I know, I live there. They were made to feel guilty for their Kitten being unwell, which he was not. They are long term cat owners and care for their pets, I know this because I live close by. I will not go into details of where the kitten was bought from, but was assured he was vaccinated by the Vet when I went there today to check on his progress which is not good. Unfortunately some of our pets are not born with a good immune system, just like humans. Please don't assume a pet is neglected because we take them for medical care, Regards.

Fantastic experience: The staff here genuinely care and love animals. They work tirelessly to save my beautiful dog's life and succeeded. I can't thank them enough. I thoroughly recommend this fantastic veterinary practice

Negative experience: Good luck getting your pet back if it ends up here! I contacted them within a couple of hours when someone dropped off my lost bird, providing clear photos and proof of ownership, but they claimed it wasn’t my bird—even though the photos matched exactly. When I sent a friend to verify, they refused to let her see the bird and said it had been sent to the council, which wasn’t true; the council didn’t receive it until hours later. I understand the need for caution, but verifying ownership is simple—just check proof and ID, exactly like the council eventually did when I got my bird back. Overall, a frustrating, ridiculous and disappointing experience. I feel sorry for anyone else whose pet ends up here, as it might be unnecessarily sent to the pound!

Negative experience: Vets don’t consult customers when injecting my pet with antibiotics. Extremely dissatisfied with this vet clinic, the vets missed my cats heart murmur twice, extremely upset and disappointed in this vet clinic!!!!!I won’t be returning

Fantastic experience: We had our 10-year-old German Shepherd groomed by Olivia at my pet Hub. We had an amazing experience with not only Olivia but all of the staff. From before we even brought Riley in, to the follow-up message, communication was seamless. All of the staff were very lovely and Riley was very well taken care of. Not to mention, he looked absolutely wonderful following his de-shedding wash.

Fantastic experience: My prior vet left the practice she was at and I was worried about finding a vet who knew about birds as they require specialised knowledge and expertise I've seen Natacha twice in the last month for two of my FIDS (feathered kids) and have been extremely pleased with her knowledge and expertise. They got me in urgently when I was freaking out about Captain Jack Sparrow which was really important to me. Natacha really cares about birds to the extent that she asked me to bring Captain Jack into a consult room prior to his appointment as she was aware how easily stressed birds become, especially when cats and dogs are also waiting. I'm really happy with Natacha and my experiences with reception staff as well. I'm so relieved to find such a caring and knowledgeable vet for my FIDS.

Negative experience: At the end of our beautiful boys struggle with liver disease, we went to this clinic to help us, as after making the heart breaking decision that it was “time.” we found that the legalities of a microchip outweighed humanity and the vet couldn’t see us and refused to help us to help to end his suffering and we were actually turned away with our dying fur baby? A simple call to our previous vet would have confirmed that he was in the final stage of his disease.

Fantastic experience: My dog has been a regular at the Garbutt Dogtopia (daycare) for over five years. In the past couple of weeks, because of his need of monthly injections, I decided to try him at the Dogtopia attached to My Pet Hub Vet (they're in the same complex). Both My Pet Hub vet and Dogtopia get 10/10 for their friendly, highly professional, and flawless service. My dog loves this "new" Dogtopia too, and I love how they're able to seamlessly administer his monthly injection while he's still having fun with his doggy mates. Excellent vet, and excellent day-care facility!

Fantastic experience: Wonderful place & people. I was fortunate enough to be able to have an emergency appointment with the vet on such short notice for my chicken Laverne who was extremely unwell. I highly recommend My Pet Hub & will definitely go back in the future The staff were fantastic.

Fantastic experience: Great vets, our first experience here was lovely and Dr Emily was very kind and gentle with her handling of our little puppy. He received lots of encouragement and a couple of treat’s and his vaccination was over before he even knew what was happening. I did mention to DrEmily how he peed all over me on his last trip to a different vet in utter fear, not this time Dr Emily was too busy giving him tummy tickles for him to even think about being scared he just loved it here! The practice is very modern, clean and all staff we met were lovely, friendly and made us feel very welcome even though we live hundreds of kms away we were treat just like a regular customer. We will definitely return when our other dogs are due routine appointment’s as the service was excellent and the prices were very good too, cheaper than another large vet in town who has a couple of surgeries, value for money, great service and friendly welcoming staff 10/10 Thankyou

Fantastic experience: Milo had heaps of fun going to daycare here and socialising. There was an incident where he scratched his ear and started bleeding. I was quickly notified by Abby and the vet was able to check him out. Bonus points for the daily Zoomie pictures

Negative experience: Wouldn’t allow my dogs to come to the daycare as apparently they were vaccinated too early? Not sure how this can be possible when they were given at the advised time by the vet. Told we had to wait for there next vaccinations a whole year later.

Fantastic experience: The team are amazing! Extremely patient and always follow up the next day to check in. Dr Emily is one of the best I have come across in all my travels

Fantastic experience: Great experience had today at My Pet Hub. Friendly staff and being a first time dog owner, they took the time at our first consultation to talk through the things that we need to do to keep our dog safe, including vaccination schedule and worming needs. A dog groomer provided an overview of what we need to do both at home and with a groomer if we choose so to keep the dog healthy on the outside, including a demo of clipping hair round eyes, ears and bum (for our Cavoodle). Great service!

Fantastic experience: Had to take my Great Dane and have her eye checked out. The staff at the desk were very friendly and very helpful. The vet was great with my dog even though my dog was playing up a little because of her sore eye. I've found my regular vet that's for sure

Negative experience: Very rude, I range 20 minutes after closing asked if I could get a miro chip scan for two stray dogs. Instead of saying no sorry we only do emergency or just a sorry we are closed. They hung up before I had a chance to finish my question. Thank you I'm glade my dogs didn't require any emergency help.

Fantastic experience: Took my cat in for a haircut under anaesthetic. She had painful fur clumps which were ungroomable. The staff were friendly, thorough and good with nervous cats. Mitzi had a lovely lion cut and is now much happier. They even have a cat friendly waiting room away from other pets. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Dr Emily and all the nurses have taken such great care of our 22 year old Calli cat that she is comfortable in her old age and likely to keep on going for ever.

Negative experience: Unfortunate ending. Was great up until the end when my dog injured himself and they still haven't contacted us to tell us how he did it. Nearly $1,000 and two weeks in a cone later they refused to help us despite them having no idea how he injured himself

Positive experience: The avian vet at this place is very knowledge as she owns birds herself and was very caring of an 18 year old Alexandria parrot and was extremely happy with her procedure

Fantastic experience: Noticed my dog was less energetic than normal so Took her Greencross and they gave her the all clear. A couple of months later, noticed she was even less energetic so decided to take her to My Pet Hub. Dr Emily was extremely throughout in her assessment and discovered my dag had a large mass on her spleen and internal bleeding. Unfortunately, my dog had to be put down. Dr Emily was fantastic throughout the entire process and I will only use them from now on for all our vet needs.
