Fantastic experience: I want to thank Dr Lisa and the wonderful team at 4 Paws. We have been taking our dogs there for years, and have always found the staff to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Dr Lisa has also gone above and beyond with helping 1of our fur babys who had a somewhat unusual issue. Recently we had to make the extremely horrible choice to euthanise our other fur baby and Dr Lisa and the staff were incedibly kind and compassionate during the whole process. Afterwards, they sent a lovely, hand written sympathy card which included paw prints of the fur baby that we lost. I highly recommend 4 Paws and thank them for their assistance over the years and future years to come.

Fantastic experience: Have taken all 4 of my pets there and had no troubles, only the best and honest care and suggestions and are very reasonable with pricing. We recently had to put one of our cats down and they were so loving and caring throughout the whole process and then sent a personal card in the mail which meant so much. Would definitely recommend 4 paws.

Fantastic experience: Can't thank the team enough for providing great support and care for our fur baby in the most trying circumstances. Dr Lisa, Dr Riley and others performed emergency life saving surgery despite Cyclone Kirrily and finished at 2.30pm well after other businesses had shut for the storm. They were helpful with queries, communicated sensitively and provided practical professional advice. Their diagnosis and projections also very accurate.

Negative experience: Vet was brilliant unfortunately was completely let down by the admin staff, I would suggest that if it common practice to screen phone calls to follow up on a very clear mistake on admins part that you may lose a few more clients , Oh in case you try say i was abusive i never raised my voice or was even rude just tried calling back to chase up paperwork that was never sent that had been requested for 2 days to take care of my furbaby suddenly i can't get through but call on my mates phone oh instantly through and you didn't seem to happy To be corrected on your mistake WILL NOT BE COMMING BACK

Fantastic experience: Brought in a Pupper with a reoccurring problem. The vets did a quick assessment and treated instantly. Much cheaper than other vets for a small procedure like this and it was hassle free. Nothing but a good experience for all, and the dog is back to full yip-yap vitality.

Fantastic experience: 4 paws vet cared for both our beautiful dogs Chloe and Mickey over the years. We have just sadly said goodbye to our faithful loyal Mickey. Dr Lisa was so caring, friendly, professional and supportive through this very difficult time. We will be forever thankful to "ALL" the staff that cared so much for us and went above and beyond for our family.

Negative experience: The treatment my dog received was to an acceptable standard and the first vet who treated him was very professional. However upon returning to the clinic for a checkup I was seen by a different vet who had an extremely aggressive and authoritarian tone to which I decided I cannot continue to oblige. A year earlier I walked out of the same clinic feeling a little offended with the way I was spoken to. I have decided to seek out a more friendly veterinary service.

Fantastic experience: The staff at both the Riverway and Charles St clinics were absolutely fantastic when we presented to them with our very sick dog. They went above and beyond to ensure to our little dog received quality care and kept us updated throughout the whole process. They were quick to diagnose her illness and act on treating her immediately which we have no doubt saved her life.

Fantastic experience: Attended this clinic this morning (Easter Sunday) for the first time. Absolutely fabulous staff and service. They looked after ‘my furkids’ and were a delight to deal with! Thanks so much ladies! See you next time.

Negative experience: Was told 2 months ago my dog wasn't seen for the past 6 months for an infection so needed a consult, I understood and happily took my dog and paid their fees. Called up again recently for same infection, told will need to book another consult. Yeah nah not paying another consult fee after being told previously can only get the meds for the same infection if last appointment was within 6 months. If it was a different condition or my dog had not been seen for extended periods I'd understand the need for a consultation but that is just trying to make more money. I just needed his meds and would have paid the costs of them. If you are happy to pay consultation fees everytime your dog needs it's regular meds, this place is for you. Do not recommend, feels like it's more about money than providing care to animals.

You went above and beyond for me and I felt very understood and cared for. I am endlessly grateful for what you have done for my family.

We also used their puppy school, and our new girl actully loves going to visit the team at 4 Paws. Highly recommended every one there for all your vet care needs.

Negative experience: Our delivered dog was left sitting on a shelf (maybe) for 3 weeks. Was told they tried to call but could not get through. Didn't leave a message at all. Was disrespectful when asked why and no care was given. NO compassion in the slightest. Disgusted is an understatement!! Will never recommend to anyone. If youranimal passes on a Sunday this is not the place to take them if you want to see any kind of care.

Negative experience: Awful experience as far as I am concerned another 200+"dollars in unnecessary tests to tell me my dog is dying which I did not agree he needed don't take your animals there JCU is far more compassionate

Negative experience: I asked 3 times over 1 year for my dog to get her micro details changed, they told me several it was done and my dog went missing and necer returned to me because of these guys i called them up and spoke to manager and she was awfall so nasty and very unprofessional

Fantastic experience: We unfortunately had to go in for a last minute visit for our cat. They were able to fit us in, he had to have a day visit and they could accommodate him. Everyone was very doting on him. The vet was super knowledgeable and explained everything that was going on, with the whys and how to prevent from reoccurring in the future. All prices were disclosed prior to any treatments, with all prices being fair and reasonable.

Fantastic experience: Truly the most amazing vets and staff ever. So caring and i had so much confidence in the care they gave my little dog when she had a perforated eye from a cataract. I was told from other vets that the best option for her was to be put down because of her age. The vets at 4Paws on Charles st immediately operated and removed her eye with out any hesitation to give her at least a chance. They gave me so much confidence in their ability and care. My little dog came through with flying colours and is doing so well thanks to the vets at 4Paws. Best vets ever.

Fantastic experience: Went into see my mother's sick dog. The Vet nurse was caring. She happily explained everything to my mother who was so stressed out about her Jack Russell. All is ok but we wait until tomorrow to see how little *Mojo is going. The veterinarian yesterday was prompt and checked our dog thoroughly. I'm glad Mojo will be in safe hands.
