Fantastic experience: Lovely professional staff. Very quick to administer help after my dog was bitten by a Brown Snake. Explained the costs and very much understood my distress at the time.

Negative experience: Cancelled my appointment on me for being late, booked another arrived early, and sat waiting 25 minutes after my appointment time no communication to say I’d be waiting longer, resulting in having to walk out and take my dog somewhere else. How is it justified that you cancel my appointment but I’ve gotta sit around after my time waiting for you.

They actually care about your pets. It is nice to feel that the service is not just about the money. I highly recommend them.

He has a lot of anxiety about going to the vet and the team have been so gentle and understanding with him. They let me stick around while he was sedated for his surgery which made me feel so much better about leaving him there. I know he’s in good hands when he visits these beautiful people ❤️❤️❤️

However when I called they where very friendly on the phone (even though I was a mess) and I was able to take her straight it there to be seen to. She was returned back to me the same day, happy and healthy. 100 % recommend

Positive experience: I have 4 pomeranians. They are Indoor dogs and rarely do I take them out in public. They have NEVER had fleas or tucks or lice. The next day after the vet visit, they are covered in lice! I covered my dogs in lice powder and myself in it too. No more lice now but it did suck. No dramas all their life. Take them to the vet. Covered in lice. Staff though are really nice

Fantastic experience: I love this vets! Vet Tony is amazing! He is reasonable and very nurturing. He talks to both you and your pet when examining and always approaches you in a professional manner. I have had a few issues with the front desk. But they were able to fix my issues quick and fast. I highly recommend Vet Tony.

Fantastic experience: Travelling through, I urgently needed some compounded eye drops for one of my dogs. I was completely out of my comfort zone, not in a major city, in another state, and only around for a short while... After the vet consult went well, I was a little stressed about the timeliness of the medication arriving, and may have even been short tempered and showed little patience. The customer service team were faultless; they suffered my concerns and multiple phone calls, with genuine smiles, did the leg work for me, and kept me in touch. I was notified as soon as the medication arrived. Now, 4 months on, I have just placed a call to order the same medication again. The customer service manager (Ashley) remembered me and my specific circumstances. Could not be happier with my experience overall

Negative experience: Family cat went missing and later found out that she was picked up a neighbor's house sitter. We were informed that she was delivered to Greencross Vets and witnessed our furbaby get scanned for her microchip. As soon as we found this out, we called with the microchip registration number and the date she was handed in. Greencross denied ever scanning or receiving her.

Negative experience: Vets are good. I'm giving this review so that Future customers can be informed about their 'healthy pets plus' program promoted at this clinic. Just don't do it people. You save nothing, they recover all costs for your animal and then some with hidden fees. It's a secondary company that are difficult to contact. Greencross should be ashamed of working with a shonky company.

Negative experience: Disorganised and with dumb social distancing rules. Made a booking, turned up with the dog to be told it was next Tuesday. Called to double check, no booking at all. Unable to enter the building and unable to speak to the vet except by phone. Sorry. Not good enough.

Negative experience: We booked our dog before closing last Thursday and paid a higher fee for him to be seen 'after hours' for a 5 min consult to be told he had gastro, and pushed out the door with a $100 nausea injection (for a dog that was off his food not vomiting) and electrolytes. Apparently tests could wait till the next day, and obviously the vet just wanted to go home. Called next day to say he was worse and was asked how much money we had as tests would be over $1000. By this stage our pup was much worse but we were told we had to sort finance first and the vet wouldn't be in till after 5 so wouldn't be seen till 7.20pm. Took him to another vet who immediately diagnosed him with obstruction and acute kidney failure, emergency surgery and antibiotics were started (and for less than the cost of greencrosses 'tests', but was by now too late to save him as he had declined too far overnight. Called to tell greencross and they said 'oh interesting, we'll update his file, thanks'. Misdiagnosis, lack of appropriate care and examination, complete lack of empathy, driven by money. Disgusted and angry that I paid so much money for nothing but a waste of time which could have saved our loved dog if Id just taken him to the other better vet sooner.
