Greencross Vets Willows/Kirwan

Fantastic experience: Cannot speak highly enough for these vets and administrative staff. They provided a great service and cured my dog Inkie of his ailment. Many thanks to Amanda the vet who examined Inkie and explained what the problem could be. With the supply of medicine Inkie's problem was solved in 1 day. A great effort from these vets.

From routine care, to more complex issues the team always make us feel heard, address our questions with answers or ways that make us feel like we are equipped with the knowledge we need for whatever issue or concern we have. Their soft, warm & kindhearted energy is always so nice to witness & I know when I leave my sons in their care, they get just as much (if not more) love & attention as they would at home with us! Thank you again team, for everything, but especially for today & making sure Scoobs got extra cuddles, a “party” hat & extra pets for losing his manhood!

Negative experience: If I could do a negative star I would. Have been a customer of Greencross since 2010 with multiple pets. Unfortunately over the years with becoming a bigger company the standards have slipped considerably. On the weekend they were unable to help with a minor emergency let alone provide any beneficial advice. Compared to 2 other clinics we spoke to that we have never been customers of, that went above and beyond to help. If you are a healthy pets plus member in Townsville I advise you shop around and not accept the slide in customer service and care that is now Greencross. Edited for response: I have already been in contact with the healthy pets plus department who responded half an hour prior the below reply. I will forward it to the email provided as I doubt you communicate between each other.

Fantastic experience: Greencross Vets at Willows/Kirwan took care of our beloved dog Otto from the time he was a puppy until he passed away when he was nearly 13 years old.The staff have always been lovely; so professional and kind and they took wonderful care of Otto throughout his life. I can't recommend them enough or thank them enough for their excellent service and care .

Very I’m very grateful for that my 13 year old King Charles Cocker spaniel is having a op on Tuesday this week and I have faith that she will be very well cared for before her op and after also they have shown me that they care even going to help me find my missing companion missing 10 year old Indian ring neck I’m so grateful for that thank you Suzanne hodder . Fantastic experience: The staff are lovely and one of my cats needs monthly arthritis injections and they are always stress free. My cat is allowed to stay in his carrier (it is top opening), which reduces his stress levels. He gets the injection and then we are done. Dr. Emma is also great at answering my 10,000 questions about the medications and addressing any concerns I have. Thanks for caring for my fur family. ❤️

Fantastic experience: Caring, friendly, efficient, gentle, knowledgeable. Dr Wendy is marvelous. She is now looking after our fourth dog. Trust her to treat our dog as if he was her own.

Fantastic experience: My puppy decided to get an infection after being spayed. They were able to get me in within 50mins of opening and provided antibiotics. Their Healthy Pets Plus plan is worth every penny too. Staff are always kind and very knowledgeable. Overall a great veterinary practice.

Negative experience: The vet wasn't friendly with my dog, seemed afraid of him. He had a lump between his toes and she just felt the lump then quoted me $1800 to have it removed. Went to another vet and they actually tested the lump, gave me 2 options, one of which included everything in the first quote yet it was only $1100.

I have been in and out of this clinic for all sorts of fiascos in the past 2 months and I have never once doubted their treatment, been upset with anything and have always felt listened to and been given fantastic explanations on everything that is happening with me pets. Highly recommend this clinic, especially Dr Wendy. Absolute ROCKSTAR!!! If my pets could talk, they would agree with me (maybe not so much about the thermometers in the behind though!!)
