Fantastic experience: It is my first time owning cats, and Tropical QLD Cat Clinic offered the best pricing out of 10 other vets around Townsville for kitten desexing, microchipping, and full vaccinations. They also sell a great brand of cat harnesses in store.

Fantastic experience: Words cannot express the gratitude I have towards Tropical Queensland Cat Clinic. They cared for my 18 year old Raffiki for the last few months of his life and they treated him like their own. They explained every test and exam to me thoroughly and witnessed my crying on more than one occasion. We made the decision that no one wants to make and everyone in the clinic showed nothing but empathy and care, not just towards me but to my beautiful boy. I can never thankyou all enough for the way you have treated us. Whilst the grief is raw and consuming me right now I'm so grateful for you all and that he was cared for by you. Especially to Dr Sophie and Nia. The two of you are incredible. Here is a photo of my beautiful boy in his prime and also in his favourite spot to sleep - on me ♥️

Fantastic experience: Leaving our cats, Lucy and Buddha, in someone else's care used to feel daunting—until we found the boarding services at Townsville Cat Clinic. They are exceptional: calm, clean, and clearly designed with feline comfort in mind. The team treats our cats like family, and we love knowing they’re staying with their regular clinic! It’s a rare kind of peace of mind, and we wouldn’t feel as comfortable anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I'm so happy to share that we've found the BEST vet ever! After a stressful experience with NQ Care, where we felt more like we were dealing with salespeople, we were so relieved to find the Tropical Cat Clinic. Our cat, Suji, had blocked up and needed urgent care, and from the moment we walked in, it was a completely different experience. The team at Tropical Cat Clinic is incredibly friendly, and even Suji seemed to like them right away! We are beyond grateful for their help and genuine care. Unlike our previous experience where we felt ripped off, they were super nice and their charges were much lower than any vet visits we've had in years. They were absolutely wonderful with Suji, and he came home looking relaxed, clean, and happy. Honestly, we all felt so much more relaxed this time. A huge thank you to the Tropical Cat Clinic team for truly caring and helping us out. We're so glad to have found you!

And again recently when the issue that caused her to lose her leg arose again, they were so caring and helpful and helped us gain a few extra months with our sweet girl. She has now passed and we are completely heartbroken, but knowing we were supported and she was cared for so kindly in her time of need helps the heart ache. Fantastic experience: I have a very anxious kitty and she's never been good of like people out of her social circle. So when I was recommend this place through a friend that also had cats I wanted to give it a go since vets usually miss handle my cats and treat them like dogs. And they're absolutely amazing people, kind, helpful and loving towards all cats. They know their stuff I've gotten both my cats desexed and all their needles here. And some ups and downs they've done to themselves (concussions and infections) and I can't say I recommend this place more than anything. Thanks cat clinic team you're the best!❤️ Ps. They offer so much more than just a vetnary clinic!

Fantastic experience: I couldn't recommend the cat clinic enough, Dr.Mel and her team do an amazing job and have always been extremely Gentle and caring with my cat Jelly. My cat Was very unwell and Dr. Mel brought her back to great health. The Nurses are very friendly and are very personable, happy to accommodate and always make us feel welcome.

The doctor is very knowledgeable and our kitty seems to be comfortable around her. Also they take vet pay which was a life saver when this cat fell in our lap unexpectedly

Fantastic experience: Best vet to take cats to in townsville. Incredibly friendly staff that make you feel at ease, super gentle and caring, my boy is usually easily stressed if I take him anywhere but he loves going.

Fantastic experience: I have a former colony cat who doesn't like to be picked up and is very nervous around strangers. At the cat clinic she is calm, the vets are so warm towards her and understand towards her needs. My other cat is inquisitive and just goes with the flow especially if there is a treat involved.

Negative experience: Didn't get my usual vet and it was all about the vaccination needle and back into the cat cage and out the door for me. The vet wasn't interested at all in looking over my kitten/cat when I spoke about changes to her behaviour. Usually the vet I would get calms my kitten/cat and interacts with her the whole time and listens to me. Cats don't show changes often so we need to take note but this vet paid no attention to me or the needs of my kitten/cat. I later took my kitten/cat to The Palms Hermit Park and I am more than happy to continue taking her there, she ended up needing an anti-inflammatory and the other vet at Tropical Queensland Cat Clinic had sadly been no help at all.

Fantastic experience: Amazing! I was able to get an appointment at short notice for my cat who was unwell. The Vet was very knowledgeable and reassuring. Not much could be done for my cat and was still unwell 2 days later but I called for some advice and the receptionist had a Vet call me back! They’re incredibly helpful and I’ll definitely make this my regular Vet. Cat is all better now :)

Fantastic experience: We didn't have to wait long and this was the first check up on our adopted girl. The vet was excellent and knew exactly what the problem was (and what I suspected). Gave me antibiotics that my beautiful girl takes without any problems. They understand cats. Will be taking my cats here again if required.

Fantastic experience: I know no one likes taking their cats to the vet, but everything about these guys make it so much easier! The staff are always friendly and sincere and the place is beautiful and relaxing. I can't praise Dr. Carl enough, I've not met another vet as dedicated and caring as him! You don't feel rushed out the door like most major vets and have very reasonable prices in comparison. The clinic's after hour's emergency vet in North Shore is just as high standard!

Advice over the phone is never a problem if you are unsure of the health of your kitty and an appointment made if required. Top quality experience and have been going since not long after it opened. If you need an excellent cat vet, this is your go to place!!!
