Fantastic experience: I cannot thank the team at the Austin enough for saving my little kitten’s life. My kitten was in critical condition and fighting for his life, and the level of care, professionalism, and compassion they showed was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, the staff were incredibly kind, supportive, and understanding during such a stressful and emotional time. They kept us updated by calling us and even sending photos, which meant the world to me. Their professionalism, expertise, and genuine love for animals are very clear in everything they do. I am beyond grateful for their dedication and the incredible care they provided.

Fantastic experience: We had outstanding care from The Austin Vet Specialists. The team were incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and took the time to explain everything clearly about the care for our German Shepherds spinal surgery.. The staff were very helpful and supportive, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. We highly recommend them for their professionalism and genuine care for both pets and owners.

Fantastic experience: Reasonably priced, great facility, amazing nurses and veterinarians, would absolutely go here again in an emergency if needed. Thank you for taking care of our pup!

Fantastic experience: We cannot speak highly enough of the specialist team who cared for our beloved dog, Angus. Although our outcome was not the one we hoped for, the level of care, compassion and professionalism shown throughout the entire diagnostic process — and afterwards — was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, the team took the time to explain each step clearly, treated Angus with such gentleness and dignity, and supported us with honesty and empathy during an incredibly difficult time. We never felt rushed, dismissed or left in the dark, and that meant more to us than we can put into words. The aftercare and follow-up support were just as thoughtful and compassionate, reminding us that Angus wasn’t “just another patient” — he was deeply loved, and that was genuinely acknowledged. While our hearts are broken, we are incredibly grateful for the kindness, care and respect shown to Angus and to us as a family. Thank you for doing everything you could and for treating him with such love right to the end.

Fantastic experience: I went into emergency with a bunny who unfortunately passed away on arrival. The clinic went above and beyond for me by holding her for the night and did not charge me for the consult. Cannot rate highly enough for my experience. Thank you

Fantastic experience: We can’t thank the team at the Austin enough for looking after our beautiful cat when she was unwell. All of the staff were so friendly, kind and knowledgeable, from the receptionists to the urgent care vets, and especially the internal medicine specialist Narelle. It was a stressful time seeing a loved one unwell, but knowing she was in safe hands and we were given lots of information to make informed decisions about her care was so helpful. As the centre is privately run her care was much cheaper than we expected with quality being second to none. Thank you all so much!!

Fantastic experience: Sadly, there was no happy ending to our Visit to The Austin Vet Specialists. However, the efficiency, caring and thorough consultation was a very positive experience. The facility is spacious, modern and, as an emergency patient, our dog had speedy treatment including a CT scan. We really felt our dog was in the best hands.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday my dog had a CT scan for ongoing lameness. The vet, nurses and reception staff were so fantastic! Doing everything possible without needing to have surgery, very reasonably priced too. Couldn’t recommend enough!

Fantastic experience: Our dog had an outpatient CT here and we were met with extremely helpful and accomodating reception and imaging staff. They were so good with our boy and we felt like he was in good hands the whole time, they kept us updated and explained everything so well. Highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We were referred to The Austin for a blood transfusion for our dog. The service and care we received here was second to none. It was a beautiful facility, with separate waiting areas for dogs and cats, and even an enclosed waiting area for reactive dogs. The transfusion took place overnight and so we were sent home but we received an update as soon as it was finished even though it was 1am. We really appreciated this as we were so worried about him. The bill was another worry, but it worked out to be less than half of what we were quoted at a different hospital! Overall, we are so so so grateful for the team at The Austin. Our boy is recovering well thanks to the care he received, and we were able to rest that night knowing that he was being treated in a great environment.

Negative experience: Disappointing service! I was recommended and booked to take in my dog after surgery. They were told prior to my visit what my dog had been through and what was necessary from them within the next 24h (mainly to monitor overnight) I was quoted a minimum to maximum price before I had chosen to take my dog in. Once I arrived 3 different staff had asked what had happened even though I had explained that the information had been emailed to them via email by my vet. No one checked any notes so I had to keep repeating myself. I was then quoted double the amount of the higher quote to leave my dog there overnight, at approximately $2,500 for monitoring. I had decided to take my dog home with me after losing trust in the vet, as it was clear to me they just wanted money and had no real desire to help or even read previous notes. I was then charged a fee for just visiting (no advice was given, no medication and no examination of my dog). We were charged for sitting in the lobby and waiting to be seen. This is an absolute scam and I wish people read these reviews before visiting!!! I have since advised my local vet of the situation, because I would hate for the same thing to keep happening to others

Fantastic experience: The Austin hospital is life saving. The vets are experts in their field and provided high level care for my girl. Their ongoing internal medicine offers outstanding support. The vet nurses at the Austin give so much love and compassion to the little ones. I am so blessed to have found this medical team.

Negative experience: A Despicable service!! Despite my poor dog being in respiratory distress, this Clinic refused to give Oxygen or other relief to my pet, until they could get my money. After showing them my bank ACCOUNT with enough money in it to pay their fees, they refused to lift a finger to help my poor ailing dog, until the money hit their hands.. Having waited all night for the Vet to return to inform me what will happen next, i was exhausted, from Stress and no sleep. Having not long fallen asleep on the floor beside my dear dog, a man suddenly screamed at me, nearly giving us heart attack and sending my dog into a coughing fit. He was falsely accusing me of having left the front door open on purpose, so that people could enter steal things. This was blatant lie. Earlier when I had gone outside with my dog, I noticed that upon return, the heavy self latching door was slightly ajar. Initially I thought that it was strange, but I concluded that they must've left it ajar for me to re-enter, considering I am mobility impaired, and with a dog. I thought that it was considerat of them having done so for me. I looked back to check the door had shut behind me, and saw that It had. I watched as another couple left the building and Saw that the door also shut fully. I was still a bit perplexed as to why the door had been ajar when I had returned but was glad that it appeared to be properly closing properly now so I felt no need to mention anything to the staff who were preoccupied. Amdvi concludes that they must've left it it ajar for me to return. When the male worker loudly shouted at us he shocked me so much my heart was palpitating for hours afterwards, and my poor dog's laboured breathing intensified. It was a cruel gesture, in light of my dogs' state of health. Earlier, the same worker barged thru a heavy wooden door where I had been standing to try get someone's attention, but instead I was knocked heavily by the door. The door slammed into my body, hitting my bad hip, stunning the right side of my body. I accepted this incident as an accident, (I had been too close to the doo), but after later being yelled at, by the same person, I began to wonder if it wasn't just spiteful behaviour, or that he'd later yelled at me, as an excuse, to direct my attention away From the door incident. At daybreak I arose (still in pain), and went to the front counter. I wanted to know when my dog would be seen, and to ask someone to call a friend to help organise payment. (in the flurry of leaving home, 4hr drive away, I'd left My mobile phone behind) The manager strode out. She demanded immediate payment for the time I had already spent there, despite not yet assessing my dog. I tried to reason with her about getting my friend to help me make payment. but she threatened me if I didn't Pay Right NOW she would get the Police Their treatment of myself and my dog was abysmal. It is clear that the only thing which really matters to this Clinic is $$$$. (Not treating your dear pet) PLEASE be Vigilant.. Take your beloved pet to a Qualified, animal- loving Veterinarian. Don't waste your time and $$ in Dealing with people who PRIORITISE MONEY above CARING FOR YOUR PET Get your pet properly assessed and cared for, by a professional, animal loving Veterinarian Clinic, such as NEXUS on Unley Rd. Fantastic experience: The staff were amazing. From the initial consult to the end, everyone was so lovely and compassionate. Our vet Eric explained everything so well. We had to say a heartbreaking goodbye to our cat Molly but couldn't have asked for better people to help us through it.

Fantastic experience: “We cannot thank the Austin vets enough for the incredible care and support they have given our Cino throughout his cancer journey. Our sincere gratitude goes especially to Dr. Narelle Brown. She is truly worth her weight in gold; you will not find an internal medicine specialist like her. Her dedication and commitment to her patients are beyond remarkable. Thank you also to Stacey, the exceptional vet nurse and all the staff who looked after our beloved fur baby. You all are amazing!"

Danielle Hersey Posted on Google 7 months ago

Fantastic experience: Dr Narelle Brown and team were incredibly kind and knowledgeable in assisting our little dog. Narelle went above and beyond during an extremely difficult time for us, treating our 11 year old boy like her own and meticulously explaining each step of his treatment and outlook. We are so grateful this service was there for us, their facilities are clean, very modern and the waiting area is so inviting. All the staff seem genuine and passionate about their jobs. We will definitely be using this practice again.

Fantastic experience: A huge thank you to the austin vet. After three days of seeing vets around South Australia, we finally made it here our dog nearly passed. The vets here are highly trained from the moment you walk in. You are looked after a big shout out to ellie on the front counter who is so caring and helpful. If your dog is really unwell, I highly recommend the austin vet

Positive experience: Said goodbye to our precious and much loved 13 year old golden retriever Alice with specialist vet Veronica who was so caring and wonderful during our time there. Expensive, yes......but what price on the best there is in diagnosis and caring.

Fantastic experience: They were very kind and helped us quickly during an out of hours emergency and provided us options. Sadly our feline friend passed but they gave us time and space to process a very sudden loss of a beloved pet.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place, and lovely people. My dog went in for ultrasound and no sedation required. Put my mind at ease. And got give a card to go a cross the road for a fee coffee. Buy the time my coffee was finished they called me to come get her.

Highly recommend this place when your cherished fur family member needs help the most when their life is on the line. Thank you again Narelle & your team, we are forever grateful ❤️

Negative experience: Absolute no sense of urgency. I was under the impression that this was an emergency vet but clearly not. I had to wait over 20 mins with my pet to have at least someone look at him. If you need urgent care please do not come to this place. They have no problem taking your money and have zero hurry to actually help your pet. The vet we had showed zero empathy for us and was very blunt and unfriendly. Please don’t bring your precious animals here, go somewhere where you will be seen and treated with respect and not just another cash grab.

The Austin Vet Specialists

Thank you for your review and sorry to hear your experience did not meet your expectations. Our team strives to provide a service in the same way as a human emergency department in that your waiting time to be seen will be longer when our team will have been treating multiple critically unwell patients at the time of your arrival. Please do not hesitate to email us if you wish to discuss your feedback further with us.

Fantastic experience: The Austin Team, and especially Narelle and Meg, were amazing with our dog. I couldn’t have asked for a better team to help our boy through some very tough and very complicated illnesses. Not only were they smart, thoughtful and thorough, they are also incredibly kind and compassionate. Our dog loved his vet visits, no matter what he was going through. I can’t be more grateful for their support and expertise.

Fantastic experience: Simply amazing staff, really listened to what I was saying and really went the extra mile to ensure my nervous cat was made to feel safe and relaxed. The procedure was done so quickly I was very pleasantly surprised. Reception staff were kind and understanding. Recommend without hesitation.

Negative experience: I came in with my dog Ivar for what I was expecting to be a surgery. After speaking with the vet (I believe her name was Fui) in our appointment the word Euthenasia was mentioned, I began to get teary and apologised to the vet but explained we had so much going on with my son in ICU so I’m just a bit sensitive right now, she then said to me “yea but I need you to calm down otherwise your not going to understand anything” this took me by surprise as it was said quite abruptly and rudely, I was not crying hysterically I had simply began tearing up, I immediately felt stupid for getting upset at the thought of Ivar needing to be euthanised (which is rediculous). After discussions with my partner we decided the best thing for Ivar was to have her euthanised. When the vet came back in to administer the medication it felt incredibly rushed, Ivar was continuously referred to as “he” despite me correcting on multiple times that Ivar was in fact a girl (this had happened during my whole appointment with this vet) and then I was left in the consult room to be with Ivar and to mourn her. Now I know the world does not stop because I lost Ivar but…. I was in a consult room that had see through doors and windows on both sides patients walking past would have seen me on the floor crying over my now deceased mate not to mention the nurses walking back and forwards. Whilst this was happening I could hear the nurses on the other side engaging in conversations having many laughs and whilst I am all for a healthy work place this was just not what I wanted or needed to be hearing in these last moments with Ivar, there was no consideration at all. I was able to spend a large amount of time with Ivar after but what happened at the end is honestly the only saving grace for Austin vet. After I phoned the front desk and told them I was ready to head off but didn’t want to leave Ivar by herself the beautiful Nurse who deals with all brachy breeds (I did not quite catch her name) consoled me and spoke with me about her brief interactions with Ivar at a CT scan she had to have days prior saying how she was such a well behaved beautiful natured girl she then began getting teary eyed and shedding a tear with me, in the few moments I spent with her I felt someone actually cared. I wish I remembered her name because she made a terrible situation I had to go through on my own feel a little less painful and I am so grateful she was my last interaction at the Austin. Fast forward to today where I received the condolences card in the post from the Austin vet where Ivar has still been referred to as “he”. I think the Austin could do with understanding the little things do in fact matter and if your going to send a card like this the very least you can do is refer to her as the right sex, nothing says “we didn’t even open your file or look at your information when we wrote this” quite like not getting this simple thing right.

Fantastic experience: Had to take our 11 month old reactive XL bully here for a CT scan on his legs. Due to him being reactive I was super nervous however our nurse Jesse was amazing. She worked out a plan with us to cater to his needs and to make the process as comfortable as possible for him and us. Super grateful that we had such a lovely nurse definitely would recommend. Thank you again Jesse!

Negative experience: I had previously written a 5 star review for my dog's treatment last year, having a major surgery. Recently I had to take him back due to a quick onset of extreme symptoms, where no vet in my area would take him. At times there was a lack of information provided which felt very frustrating and ended up having to take him back after they released him into my care. In total I have spent close to 20K at the Austin for my dog's care over 2 occasions. I thought the treatment had been top tier, until I realised that they had taken almost another 10K for this emergency treatment.. and all of a sudden the care factor was a zero. Specialist had not replied to my emails asking about his medications 5 days before they ran out, to ring reception 4 days later and speak to the rudest reception staff, she did not pull up his file and instead spoke to me as if I was a random person ringing up asking for scripts. The phone call went around in circles, where I was told the specialist doesn't work on Fridays and she was not going to "go to her house and knock on her front door" and that I would simply need to wait or email as the specialist checks her emails frequently... despite not replying to me for almost a week, she also asked me for the drug name which I could not look up as I was driving on hands free.. when I explained to her what I thought the medication may have been called with a description of the tablet she responded "as if i'm going to know what medication you're talking about by you explaining what the tablet looks like". The receptionist eventually asked for my dogs details to look up his file, where you could tell she immediately realised she was in the wrong and instead brushed me off with "all I can do is send her a message, I don't know what else you expect. She is not working today and will get back to you when she see's your email", she had all of his info, prescribed medications and history right in front of her. To say it's disappointing to realise they are nice when they're going to receive a lot of money to you.. to not care at all once your dog has received treatment.. really gives off "not my issue anymore". This receptionist I spoke to yesterday needs high level support with customer service training and how to speak to people respectfully regarding sensitive topics. I am not a vet specialist.. I don't know if my dog running out of medications and not having what he needs will end up with him getting sick again and needing support, which will no doubt cost me thousands again. Stand your ground with your pets treatment and getting the support you should post care, the lack of duty of care I feel like I have now seen is very upsetting and broken all trust I had for the Austin and their care factor for the wellbeing of my dog.

Negative experience: Sadly and disappointingly cannot recommend. They admitted my fur baby Jasmine into their care for the second time, this time in preparation for a CT Scan (of which I had requested for previously or an Ultrasound!) which they advised would cost $3100! I'd accepted and agreed with this as Jasmine was suffering and in pain with a suspected Muscle or Tendon problem. A previous Xray that they wanted to do first (even though it was discussed that it wouldn't show Muscle or Tendon damage!) had failed to expose the problem after which I requested an Ultrasound! They advised that a CT Scan is preferred first and if that didn't expose the problem then they'd do the Ultrasound! I agreed just so to have investigations continuing! "Not" at anytime did they advise that the Scan wouldn't take place until full payment had been made even though a $900.00 followed by a $600.00 payment had already been made during other pre-treatments with my Bank Card! On the day for the CT Scan when I went to complete the payment for it, their Bank Card Reader wouldn't this time accept my Card even though numerous transactions with other businesses had been successfully completed on the same day as well as the two mentioned above paid to Austin's ! Meanwhile with Jasmine still in their care and me still thinking they would be carrying out the CT Scan, I rushed back to my Motel to book a fourth nights stay on my Card then went to my Bank to have my Card and its details checked by a Bank Consultant! She kindly completed this including doing an upgrade on the Banks App on my phone and then confirmed all was okay! On my way driving back to Austin's in the afternoon, they rang to "only then" advise that they'd not done the CT Scan. When I requested why they said because they'd not received a payment in advance for the Scan!! This meant that Jasmine had been in their care on that day for nothing!! I requested why wasn't I made aware of this earlier or previously for which no answer was provided other than that the Scan wouldn't be done until a payment is received!! This was even though the two previous deposits were made off my same Bank Card! I then offered to make an immediate Bank to Bank Transfer after showing them my Bank Account to confirm there were more than adequate funds to cover the cost! I was advised by an Admin staff member who appeared cold and uncaring, it apparently wasn't their procedure!! After much discussion and pleading I left there that evening very distressed and upset not to mention worried sick about Jasmine who through no fault of her own, was left to suffer on. Needless to say I/we will never go back there.

Fantastic experience: Had to take my dog to get looked at at 2am, as he was vomiting blood. Had not heard of this very before but they were a great help and have all of the equipment to deal with any issue. They were very clear in treatment options and looked after little Bo. Had results from his blood test within 30 minutes and even made me a cup of tea while I waited. Also, I appreciate that they were up front about the cost involved with after hours treatment so I could make informed decisions.

Fantastic experience: A state of the art 24/7 vetinary hospital - a facility that is made even more exceptional by the wonderful team who provide above and beyond care both in expertise and lots of cuddles & kindness. My #missmillie was observed by the team at all times before, during & after her operation. Prices were reasonable in line with the high quality service & personable care including our amazing consulting vet who contacted me regularly out of work hours. We felt safe in the hands at Austin Vets as we were guided through a tough diagnosis. We are home & recovering well. I highly recommend taking your fur babies to this top class facility in times of medical need or urgency.

Positive experience: Our elderly cat was admitted to the Austin for emergency care on the Friday night of a long weekend. The staff were all very friendly. We did not encounter any that were unprofessional or uncaring. It was confusing at times as multiple vets looked after our cat and all had differing priorities and thoughts so it was hard to know what to prioritise. All were very kind though. Unfortunately after 4 days our beloved cat deteriorated and we needed to make the choice to euthanase her. We went in to be with her. Her IV was taken out and she was brought in to spend time with us. She deteriorated very quickly without the IV medications. It was distressing to watch. We went to fetch the Dr. She didn't come. After 15 to 20 min we had to go fetch her again as our girl was struggling. The Dr arrived shortly after. Unfortunately there had been an emergency and she'd been held up, which was understandable but it wasn't the experience we had hoped for. There were just a few little things about saying "goodbye" that were not what we were used to at other practises. The Austin does not take foot print impressions so we needed to go and buy our own ink pad and do it when we got home. Our girl was wheeled in on a metal trolley once she'd been taken and had her IV catheters removed before we could take her home. It just seemed a bit cold and impersonal. The IV catheters that had been removed where still stuck to her blanket that she was wrapped in. The bill was pretty high but she needed a lot of care so it was to be expected. There are 2 suggestions here. Because it was a long weekend we didn't have easy access to the money in our savings account that has no card attached. I asked for the Austin bank details so that I could directly deposit the funds from our account into theirs but there was no option to transfer money. We were required to pay deposits each day, yet our every day account didn't have the funds needed as it's where our bills and groceries are paid from. Other emergency hospitals allow funds to be transferred by direct deposit. The Austin doesn't, even though I provided proof of funds in my bank account when asked. There was no option for afterpay either. This just creates stress during an extremely stressful time. It's not like our girls admission was planned. We hadn't expected it at all. We had to scrape by trying to find cash from other means. The ladies on the reception over the weekend were amazing whilst trying to figure out how to help. When receiving the bill I scrolled through and noticed that each phone update costs in excess of $100. I hadn't been made aware of that. Generally that is a complementary service given your pet is in care and there's no other way to get information on their welfare. So whilst the staff were lovely, there are a few things that were challenging. We are very grateful that our girl was well cared for by kind people. We wish the outcome had been different.

Fantastic experience: Yesterday we took our beautiful border collie x kelpie to our local vet in Port Vincent where she received excellent care. Our girl had swallowed some fragments of her marrow bone which was stuck in her stomach. There was only so much our country vet could do so we had to rush our baby to the Austin. On arrival, the staff were extremely attentive and caring. We did notice, while waiting to be seen, that our girl had made a remarkable improvement. She went from having symptoms of drooling, discomfort and no appetite, to looking bright and happy again. We assume the bone fragment passed from her stomach to her small intestine, making her feel much better. We advised the staff that Annie looked much better and we would not need to see the vet. So even though we didn't see a vet or pay any fees at all, we still had staff call us today to check in on Annie the next day. They never asked for any fees, even though Annie was assessed and triaged by the vet Nurse. I am very impressed by all the staff we encountered yesterday while we were there for only a short time and it was so nice to have them check in on us today. It is reassuring to know this vet is out there if we ever need it again in the future. The atmosphere the minute you walk in the door is very calming and the place is spotless. Thankyou for your kindness and professionalism. I'm truly grateful.

Fantastic experience: Friendly knowledgeable staff that made us feel welcomed and well looked after even in a tough time with our dog. Their after hours care was great and and they have a nice clean open facility to cater to everyone. Definitely recommended.

Tiffany Posted on Google 1 year ago

Fantastic experience: The best nurses and vets here. They stay calm but caring when you’re in crisis. They all seem actually like dogs, both of the vets caring for fur baby got on the ground with her and let her give them sloppy kisses. It’s a shame they don’t do day to day care because the team there is so fantastic.

Positive experience: I am very impressed with this veterinary clinic, but in the end, I felt a little bit pressured into putting my dog into chemotherapy treatment. I was trying to ask questions and was talked over during the phone call. It really felt it was more about getting me to pay money than it was about my best friend. In the end, I did the right thing by my mate and laid him to rest. Do your research on treatment outcomes before you agree to anything first. Adding a few months to your pet's life is only making you feel better and is not good for your best friend.

Fantastic experience: Blu when in for a CT Scan. The establishment is clean and tidy, staff wonderful and helpful. Blu came put a little drowsy, they explained what to expect and true to nature Blus had a rough night ..crying alot and just wanted comforting. He finally ate a small handful of buiscuits at 4am ..but still just wants to sleep. They did mention 24 to 48 hours.. just waiting on my vet to call with results thank you to everyone at Austin making this an easy process.

Fantastic experience: We had an amazing experience with our Dr who made sure that we’ve had to put our boy Oscar peacefully in his last moments of his life. They attended to it at 4 am when he was in pain and helped us through the process until he had to be put into rest. Highly recommend this place and thank you for everyone who made sure he was comfortable in his last moments of his life.

Fantastic experience: First time at The Austin for an ultrasound for Ollie. All of the staff I dealt with were so warm and caring and while waiting I watched how the first so kind and considerate with everyone as they came in. Thank you for putting me at ease and looking after Ollie

Fantastic experience: Absolutely wonderful experience. From the second I called them to walking through the doors I knew my bearded dragon would get the best care there. I immediately felt so welcomed and cared about, and it made me feel even more comfortable when the vet who would be looking after my beardie said she had two of her own. Such lovely, genuine, professional people, I highly recommend!!

Fantastic experience: I had a great experience at The Austin. My Pug had to go in for a CT scan, referred by my regular vet. The staff were so lovely and kind to both my little Pug and me. They were very welcoming, engaged with us on a personal level, and explained everything so clearly. They took fantastic care of my little girl, and the waiting area and whole facility is very modern, and well presented.

Fantastic experience: Excellent caring clinic! Our ACD does not like the vets which makes the process for everyone very stressful. With each visit to see Ria & the team it was so relaxed & we all felt at ease. They took the time to ensure he was not stressed & took the time to discuss his illness with us & ensured we were all alright. We wish they provided a general veterinary service as we would definitely use it. Thank you we would highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: We have been to the Austin several times now, and cannot praise them enough. Our 2yr Henry recently had both shoulders and an elbow worked on and the pre and post care and quality has been fantastic. Fui is amazing - with both explaining the what/why/how to us, but also built a fantastic repour with our little doggo. Thanks you to everyone at The Austin.

Fantastic experience: The Austin saved my beautiful pomeranian Toast. He had a portosystemic shunt surgically repaired by the incredible Fui Yap. The whole experience was very positive and Toast is now living a normal healthy life. Edit; I have since been back about six months later for my puppies ulnar and radius fracture repair. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have so much trust for them.

Fantastic experience: We have an amazing experience at the Austin Vet Specialists with Hana's knee surgery. The vets, staffs and nurses were so thorough with the process and very very kind. They addressed all our concerns regarding both surgery process and payment. Our dog had to stay overnight and we get updates and photo throughout the day/night. Payment process were fast and they helped put through the claim with our pet insurance. Thank you for taking care of Hana.

Fantastic experience: From start to finish our experience was faultless. Our beautiful anxious dog came in for a ct scan today. The reception ladies were extremely kind and caring. The next was the fantastic nurse, who ran over the procedure with us. We watched the ct scan being done and saw how caring the nurses were through the procedure. Then back to reception..... absolutely perfect!! Well done Austin. We would 100% recommend your services. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring for our very special girl Rudy. ❤️

Fantastic experience: The staff were friendly and professional. By the time I picked my dog Mia up, the bill had already been sent to the pet insurer and I just had to pay the difference. I was very impressed.

Fantastic experience: Our beautiful Bella was so well looked after at Austin Vet Clinic at Mile End by Fui and all the staff. After a rough start her surgery was completed and after an overnight stay where I’m sure she kept the nurses awake we were able to take her home. During the time she was with them we received phone calls texts and a photo keeping us updated on her progress. Couldn’t have asked for more Sherry and Ron

Fantastic experience: I can't thank Dr Fui Yap and her team enough for the treatment of my dog Ivy. Ivy ruptured her achilles recently and needed surgery. From the moment we walked in the door at The Austin, everything was explained and made simple for us. Fui explained what needed to be done. It's a calm environment, Ivy wasn't scared and was very relaxed when I dropped her off a few days later. After the operation, Fui rang to explain what she had found and what we should expect with recovery. Ivy needed to stay at The Austin for one night. I was so happy to receive a couple of text messages with photos of Ivy during the evening. I could see she was calm and relaxed, so I didn't need to worry about her. She was in good hands. When I picked Ivy up the next day, everything was explained again. They reassured me and said to call if I had any questions later. I have felt confident and happy with the care that Ivy received, and I would happily recommend The Austin Specialist Vet.

Fantastic experience: The Austin specialist vet clinic were very professional with a personal touch while treating my Yorkshire Terrier, Yuki, for her broken leg. Yuki was in-house for two nights & during that time I received photos & txt reassuring me that Yuki was cozy & happy # My dog is more than just a dog, she’s my fur-baby and “the Austin” get that. I would Highly recommend them to any pet owner in the same situation that we were in. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic experience: Highly highly recommend the Austin vet specialists! Doctor Fui and her team especially Jace took very good care of my dog Mia. Doctor Fui was very patient explaining my dog’s condition to us and the surgery was done perfectly. After surgery care was awesome too. Jace and nurse were there overnight to look after Mia and send updates at night. So lucky my dog got best facilities and team to take care of her!
