Fantastic experience: Excellent care and service once again with our Cavoodle Dexter. He underwent surgery this week performed by Dr Leo for cruciate ligament rupture. He is recovering well. The team were amazing throughout this process and followed up with us to check his wellbeing. There is genuine proven care here, we really appreciate that. Its a bit of a recovery and the instructions and time taken to cover aftercare for the best result was really helpful. Great job all - and many thanks.

The doctors are professional and very knowledgeable. I especially want to thank Dr Leo, I brought Shadow there for a skin issue and he immediately noticed a dental problem that no other vet had ever mentioned to me. I am so grateful he brought it to my attention before it gets worse. After surgery, Dr Leo walked me through every detail of the procedure and the results, and gave me very clear post-surgery care instructions, plus regular follow-ups. I felt completely at ease leaving my dog in their hands, knowing she is receiving the most professional treatment and being very well looked after.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking Ollie to Plus One Vet for 2 years now and have always had a positive experience with both Dr Leo and Dr Delores. Yearly teeth cleans and anything else that pops up in between they have been excellent in taking care of. It’s a family run and owned practice, and it’s that point of difference that really shows in the way they care for Ollie, but also in their level of communication. They send regular SMS updates with photos of Ollie during any procedures and they really go above and beyond with follow up SMS’s to check in. We wouldn’t trust anyone else with our baby.

Fantastic experience: Amazing experience from both the owner and pet viewpoint. Our dog gets so excited when we park she almost drags us in to the practice. From the receptionists to the vets, every one of them adores pets as it clearly shows in the interactions. The vets and nurses have a great 'bedside manner' and take time and care to make sure you, the owner, fully understand the situation whatever it is (even our dog seems to listen!). Fantastic experience: This review is a bit long, but I want to share why you should come here for your pet’s care. I have had my Ragdoll cat for eight years, and during this time we have been to five different veterinary clinics. Unfortunately, almost every visit was a traumatic experience for her. She would be so frightened that she would defecate or urinate out of fear. Over time, her fear and lack of trust led to extreme stress responses, and in some clinics, after being handled roughly, she became aggressively defensive. In the end, we were often told, “She eats and sleeps fine, so she should be okay,” and charged expensive consultation fees without receiving real help. Because of these experiences, unless it was absolutely urgent, I avoided taking her to any veterinary clinic. On Monday, my cat started vomiting, stopped eating, became unresponsive, and appeared completely weak. By 4 a.m. on Tuesday, feeling desperate and helpless, I searched online for any possible hope and sent a message through Facebook. To my surprise, I received a response very quickly, followed by a phone call from Dr. Leo. I could hardly believe it. He calmly guided me on what to do, helped us settle down emotionally, and arranged an appointment for Wednesday morning. We arrived at the clinic feeling extremely anxious, but from the very beginning, I was amazed. They allowed my cat time to stay quietly in the consultation room to become familiar with the environment instead of rushing her. After some time, Dr. Syn came in. I explained that my cat has a deep fear of veterinary visits and may attack when overly stressed. Dr. Syn demonstrated exceptional professionalism and incredible patience. He gently comforted my cat and even apologized to her for any discomfort she might experience, treating her as if she were his own child. Despite my many repeated questions, he never showed any impatience and answered everything carefully and thoroughly. Later that afternoon, my cat’s condition suddenly worsened. I immediately contacted the front desk for assistance. Every staff member responded with patience and kindness—no one was annoyed by my repeated questions. Instead of brushing us off or pushing us toward an expensive emergency service, they actively worked to find a solution. They coordinated schedules and arranged for an available veterinarian to see my cat for blood tests on Friday. Dr. Delores even arrived early to help with the examination. During the blood draw, my cat was understandably very frightened and likely shocked many of the staff behind the scenes. However, once she returned to the consultation room, the team again gave her time to calm down rather than forcing additional examinations. What truly surprised me was that even though my cat was upset during the blood draw, she showed far less aggression than she ever had at previous clinics. And incredibly, after five days without eating, in the place she feared the most—a veterinary hospital—she finally ate her first bite of food. After we returned home, the team even followed up to check on her condition and see if she was improving. It is truly rare to find a veterinary team that treats your pet as a family member rather than just another case. If you are still searching for the right veterinarian, I genuinely believe Plus One Vet is an excellent choice. It is very rare to encounter a single clinic where three different veterinarians all deserve such high praise, and I truly believe the rest of the team is just as exceptional.

After every visit, he always follows up regularly to check on my dog’s condition, which truly shows how much he cares. My dog has a long history of chronic diarrhoea, and Dr Leo went above and beyond by writing us a detailed notebook with care instructions and reference meal plans. Negative experience: Although having a beautiful clinic, the staff’s attitude is terrible. My wife brought our senior dog in for a health check recently, this lady with glasses at the reception was very rude to her. The vet appointment was okay but they are quite expensive. My wife didn’t paid successfully at the first time because she forgot to transfer the money into her account, the receptionist rolled her eyes and sigh loudly in front of her. The lady then started helping another customer and just left my wife standing there waiting for another 10 minutes, and she even picked up phone call afterwards. The whole conversation with this lady shows that she is very impatient and she doesn’t even show any care to our dog. My wife could also hear her gossiping about customers and staff? I recommend this surgery for just simple appointments but not when your pet is sick. If you are not compassionate with animals, please do not work in a vet surgery.

Negative experience: UPDATE in response to the reply from the owner: That information is INCORRECT or a blatant LIE as I was able to get the eyedrops without any prescription over the counter. I urge anyone with doubts to find out the truth “Is Chlorosig a prescription only medicine”. It is not. I made a booking for a kitten from a litter that I found living in an industrial area. I made it known that this is not a pet, I’m just trying to be compassionate & financially I’m not in position to spend a lot, i just needed its weeping eye checked. There was no discount given, which while disappointing I think is pretty standard - but the real kicker was prescribing the kitten eye drops and trying to charge me $57 - these eyedrops are without any exaggeration $7 at most at any pharmacy purchased without a script. I wasn’t told what the drops were, it’s just lucky that I opted to check underneath the doctors instructions sticker to see what the drops were. Obviously I didn’t buy from them. While the vet & staff were friendly & consult fee is competitive - I really found this to be quite deceptive, even the receptionist agreed that I can easily buy the drops at the chemist for $5 - it would be bad enough if the patient was my pet but I was just doing a community service, and instead of trying to minimise the financial burden to myself (by advising I can buy $7 drops at the chemist) they tried to take advantage and charge me additional $57. Also while arriving on time I waited 30minutes to see the vet and even then was left alone in the room on two seperate occasions for 5-10minutes while other patients/tasks were attended to. What should have been a 10 minute consult took over an hour of my time.

Fantastic experience: Amazing group of young veterinarians and staffs that are kind, warm, caring and professional, they literally saved my dog's life - she was seriously neglect by the previous owners who never took her to the vet or gave preventative care, which resulted in a positive heartworm test.

Before the surgery, they conducted a comprehensive physical examination to ensure my puppy was in suitable health condition for the procedure. Throughout the operation, the staff kept me informed of the progress every step of the way, which made me feel completely at ease while waiting outside. After the surgery, the vet not only provided a detailed post-operative care manual but also taught me hands-on how to apply medication to the wound and prevent the puppy from moving around excessively. What was most thoughtful was that when I noticed the puppy's wound was inflamed after returning home, I contacted the vet via WeChat. They immediately provided a care plan and followed up on the puppy's recovery every day. Now, the puppy's wound has healed perfectly—there’s no more redness, swelling, or licking, and its personality is just as affectionate as before. Big kudos to the vet and nurses for their meticulous care!

Negative experience: They charged me nearly $600 in consultation fees without doing anything, and my cat was still having diarrhea. The vet didn’t even give me any medication, just told me to go home and observe. Later, I went to another vet and spent less than $150 to cure my senior cat. I’m extremely disappointed with this clinic — the doctor was not responsible at all. I strongly do not recommend going here.

After sending it here, the doctor was extremely patient. After a thorough examination, she even explained the situation to me in detail without showing any impatience. The nurse, Miss Xiao, was also extremely gentle with the little dog. During the injection, she kept soothing it softly. Surprisingly, the usually shy dog didn't resist at all! The treatment plan is also very clear, and the detailed cost breakdown is presented clearly. There are no unnecessary items included. Now the puppy has regained its liveliness. Fantastic experience: The lovely Dr Leo got a call from me on the 22nd May 2025 my little Meeko he is a cat was limping we did a video call so he could see how Meeko was walking. Meeko was not walking very good on his back leg. As we live 2 hours away he thought it would be better if we rive up to Sunny Bank for a consult. Just to let you know Meeko saw Dr Leo last year as Meekos ACL was damaged and Dr Leo operated on him and put some implants in his back Right leg and did a great job and Meeko had all function back in his Right leg. Getting back on track we get up to Plus One Vets and they quickly got us in for consult and Dr Leo realise that Meekos back left leg was not moving normal so Meeko was off to have some X-rays and Bingo Meeko had damage his left ACL this is very rare in cats but to have damaged bilateral ACL even rarer. The amazing Dr Leo and team did emergency orthopaedic surgery on the same day as we visited to accommodate for how long we have to drive to Sunny Bank. I’m just so grateful and feel blessed for the vip care my baby Meeko and his parents got at Plus One Vet. I found the hospital to be more Boutique environment clean and a fantastic renovation makeover. I Liked That there was no products all over the entrance and they weren’t selling products to you as your leaving . Well done team and we wish you all the best Love Meeko

Fantastic experience: My cat has been here numerous times for routine check ups as well as a recent surgery. The team was very accommodating when the unexpected situation occured and was able to fit her appointment in, which was a big relief for me at the time as I was extremely worried. I would definitely keep coming back and looking forward to the new clinic with separate areas for cats and dogs!

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my cat to Plus one for a couple years. Initially, it was mainly for annual check-ups. And last year, one of the nipples of my cat got really red and swollen. Even she did not present with other symptoms, I still took her to see Dr Leo to make sure everything was okay. Unfortunately, after a series of examinations and pathology testing, she was confirmed with cancer in her mammary gland. She eventually had her surgery done and now she is back to normal and there hasn't been a relapse. During the process, Dr Leo and Dr Robin both looked after my cat very well. They communicate clearly about the surgical process and regular updates about my cat were given right after the operation. I am grateful and appreciative for their help!

We prioritised the possibility of home call out, experience and ability to communicate in Cantonese or Mandarin. Plus One Vet's website is informative, easy to navigate and find appointments online. They also ticked all our priorities. Dr Leo was very experienced, genuinely caring and compassionate, and he also very patience with my elderly father who was in attendance, explained clearly everything to him in Cantonese. Dr Leo provided us with detail information about our dog's conditions and the required treatments. Also the comfort and assurance that should any adverse things happen to our dog whilst we're overseas, he will patiently guide my elderly father through his home care. I highly recommend Dr Leo Wong and his team at Plus One Vet. Definitely not a vet clinic that's pushing unnecessary treatments or products. A vet who understands, experienced, informative and provides you with reasonable options.

Fantastic experience: This is a fantastic vet. It’s obvious that the staff enjoy their working conditions, and that is in turn reflected in the care that they showed to our cat. The lovely vet there gave us some interesting facts and tips to help with our cat, things that the other vets we have seen in the past have not mentioned. Don’t go to the corporate chain vets, take your animal here instead. I just hope they don’t become too popular lol. Looking forward to visiting their new location behind Pinelands.
