Fantastic experience: Honest advice.

Negative experience: Booked a free kitten appointment for my 4 month old who had the slightest limp. All she did was make him walk around a bit to say that she didn’t see a limp. Charged us $60?? Nice lady but seriously?

Fantastic experience: Great atmosphere with friendly, welcoming and caring staff. Very clean space both times we've visited for our pup's 2nd and 3rd vaccinations.

Fantastic experience: My mums cat Newman felt very appreciated at this vet. Shoutout to Krissy who made him feel very well looked after, made a quick diagnosis and easy care plan. You don’t feel like a statistic at this vet, very personalised care.

Negative experience: Would never take another pet there again

Fantastic experience: I can't recommend this vet highly enough. From the 1st consult for entropian surgery on my sharpei, I was very anxious and worried about this surgery, I left there feeling at ease and was very happy with the way my girl was treated. The receptionist went above and beyond explaining the procedure and was lovely to deal with. They did a wonderful job and the cost was very low compared to other vets. This vet seems to really care about the animal not just the $.. A big thank you from Millie and I.

Fantastic experience: A vet who is not afraid to second guess themselves, who sought specialist advice from Melbourne regarding our Dozers broken leg, scheduled to be amputated. Thankyou so much for doing so. Dozer is now running around with his girlfriend, climbing his tree and living life as he should. Improving everyday. Not 100% yet but he is using his leg as he should. I'm convinced he will make a full recovery. Thankyou all so very much ‍⬛

Fantastic experience: Could not recommend Bendigo Veterinary Clinic enough! From the professionalism over the phone to the love and care they show the animals, there is no where else like them in Bendigo. Our cats regularly attend this clinic for grooming and they provided such love and care to them they no longer require sedation to be groomed. We recently had one of our cats fall very unwell after a possible snake bite and the vet and the team were so compassionate and very generous with their time. The pricing is very reasonable and unmatched around the Bendigo area. You won’t regret taking your animals here. We will never take ours anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: Sa The team at Bendigo Veterinary clinic is absolutely wonderful! They are so caring and gentle with animals, making every visit a stress free experience. Their kindness and professionalism shine through in the way they handle pets with patience and compassion. Kayla, Chrissy and the reception team also been incredibly accommodating with us, always taking the time to answer our questions and ensure we feel comfortable. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vet that truly cares!

Negative experience: Pathetic vet refused to have a consultation with myself and dog together in a room. Just to check some ears! Apparently needed a nurse to hold my dog instead of me. Reply. I bet you take them serious. You should have taken me serious when I came in with my dog and wanted to see you with him. To little and to late for you.

Negative experience: Wasn't happy with the vet service, took my dog in as he had sore ears and could not be present in the room. The lady at the front took my dog in, don't know what was done, couldn't even speak to the vet, had to liaise via the receptionist/nurse which was very frustrating and poor service as I wanted to be present to see what the vet did and ask questions, couldn't do that. Never going back. I have never encountered a vet that does not let you be present.

Fantastic experience: Our Indiana needed a tooth out as she cracked it, so we decided to get her teeth cleaned as well and I looked for quotes from multiple vets. I had 4 quotes and each one I needed a personal loan for. My husband’s work recommended this vet and they gave us a free dental check and a quote which we booked her in and the girls were just amazing and so friendly and cared for dog with great care.. we will return

Fantastic experience: What an excellent practice with friendly, courteous and professional staff. We've struggled to find a practice whom we felt comfortable with for a few years now, glad to say we've found that practice for our 3 beautiful rescues. We've taken 2 of our dogs there for different procedures and highly recommend this wonderful practice to anyone seeking a professional and affordable clinic. We will not be going anywhere else, an excellent team.

Fantastic experience: I recently had to make a tough decision about whether my beloved old dog should be euthinased, owing to many life long conditions. The staff spent some time talking it through with me and helped me make the final decision. They were very respectful of the last few minutes of my dogs life and of my feelings.

Positive experience: The staff are kind, but I haven't been very happy with my experience here. I have had issues with the organisation of the clinic. While the issues were sorted out, I expected better. Not the worst experience but I likely will not bring my pet here again.

Negative experience: Asked the vets 2 different times to send off my epileptic dogs script to a different vet clinic due to having moved. They said they would, but never ended up doing it. Also asked them to look at my other dogs ear due to her scratching to the point of bleeding and they didn't end up doing it because she was "moving around too much". Way too expensive for how little they actually help. Only redeeming qualities here are that the results come quickly. Edit because of their reply: Lmao, no I didn't express it to the wrong clinic. I don't have dementia. Own up to your mistakes and awful treatment instead of making excuses.

Negative experience: Very unprofessional and should not be allowed to practice. Administered medication to our pet without consent or a diagnosis and then proceeded to charge over a $1000 for something we didn’t give approval for. Even after trying to express our concern we did not get compensation for the treatment. Got argued with and abused instead with personal attacks. Asked for a manager or someone in charge and they couldn’t provide me with that either. Absolutely disgusted.

Negative experience: Disgusting service, extremely unprofessional, untrained & abusive staff. The last thing I’d do is take an animal here for care/treatment. Administering pets medicines, vaccines & anti-venoms without consent/Disclosure. Inability to diagnose & treat accordingly also the Staff lie to customers about animal care. Unfortunately I can’t attach video evidence of the unprofessional, abusive staff to this review.

Fantastic experience: Amazing team, understanding and genuinely lovely to deal with! They supported us through some of the hardest times with our precious dog. Would highly recommend Lisa and the team to anyone!

Fantastic experience: extremely happy with our visit and despite living an hour away i think this is going to become our go to clinic! my partner and i have never felt so safe and trusting with a vet until we came across this clinic, the staff is amazing from the nurse to the front counter. like mentioned, despite living an hour away the communication between staff and I were out of this world, i was overwhelmed with how friendly and informative they were, not to mention how much they took our concerns into consideration. we’ve been to multiple vets and asked multiple people for opinions and we didn’t get anywhere near an outcome like we were able to achieve today. i highly recommend this clinic, you can tell they truely care for your fur babies well-being and that they’re passionate about their career and will help you get the best possible outcome. salem, my partner and i thank you deeply!

Negative experience: Don’t go to this vet. Not only they just want your money. They deceive and mislead us which cost the life of our cat. They told us there’s no cure for FIP which is biggest BS. Remdesivir is already available through animal pharmaceuticals call Bova base in Sydney and can express post and get it next day. Lie to us the medication is extremely hard to get hold on because of Covid. They promise to help us but don’t even bother to call back. We believe them and wait hoping for some good new but no response until we decide seek help by calling another vet and refer us to Mclvo vet which they have treatment ready available. Only if we had that extra time this place wasted on us our kitten would be in a better position. If you care for your pet don’t go to this place. They are most irresponsible human being. Don’t trust a word they say. My mistake for trusting them and their professionalism. They don’t care,

Fantastic experience: Excellent vet and caring staff! I was very anxious about finding a new vet as our previous vet let us down in the worst way. But the staff here were lovely, patient and made sure to put my mind at ease for our new furbaby. Nothing was too much bother and their after surgery care was top notch. Highly recommend!

Negative experience: Second disappointing visit where this time the vet failed to locate a large flea infestation when specifically asked about it. No flea treatment offered and i found the infestations next day...wondering how a professional could've missed something so basic and obvious..third visit showed that when I needed them urgently to email a receipt to get my dog out of the pound, the vet Linda attempted to email 3 times, all 3 times failing to do so and failing to even attach the document. When asked what time she would be back in front of the computer as the problem was time sensitive, she said 'this afternoon', then failed to return any messages, texts or notify me of times. My dog remained in the pound for an extra 2 days and cost me money as a direct result of their incompetence.

Fantastic experience: Rebekah and Lisa got our nine-week-old pup through a very serious bout of gastro that lasted over a week and required him to stay several nights at the clinic. From the start they have been very caring, responsive to our queries and clear about costs involved, which have been very reasonable. Generous weekend opening hours (charged at the same rate as weekdays to boot) and on-call availability gave us peace of mind throughout the pup’s illness. The little fella (now not so little!) is on the mend and loves his follow-up visits, which speaks for itself. I have recommended these guys to several people since. Great practice, with vets clearly motivated by their desire to care for animals.

Our beautiful 14 year old dog was in immense pain and could no longer walk and at 50+kg I was not able to lift him Phone calls to numerous vets including our own was uneventful and no one was willing to do a house call This practice didn’t know us or our dog and yet Rachel came out so incredibly fast to assist. The care and compassion she showed with such a devastating decision we had to make did not go unnoticed Should we get another animal we will certainly being changing practices The final act of respect was sending us a hand written condolence card with memorial seeds Beautiful practice and we are very grateful
