Fantastic experience: We have always appreciated the kind and skilled staff at Greencross Vets White Hills, but they excelled themselves when we had to take our beloved Indi in to be euthanised. They were compassionate and professional and helped us through a very difficult time.

Negative experience: Less than 1 star because of Dr Sam Beeby. I recently took my pet in with breathing issues. And all she was focused on was cleaning, and possibly extracting any possible bad teeth - for a substantial quote price. She was clearly not focusing on the actual issue, and when I pushed back on this, she became noticeably direct and superior. I therefore had/have absolutely no confidence in her ability and ended up taking my pet elsewhere to get the attention he needed (which had absolutely nothing to do with his teeth!!). Sadly, this practice also seems to be focused on $$$ rather than pet care. Would never go back.

Fantastic experience: All the staff are fantastic and friendly, they are so considerate of your dogs needs and don't push them to hurry into the consult room or on the scales. They take the time to build a relationship with your pet and that does wonders for us every visit. I am so glad we discovered this clinic, as other clinics were a stark contrast in comparison. I know every appointment that we are getting the best care and we never feel rushed and we are always listened to. Dr Fiona has been brilliant with our Doberman, she has such genuine care and is so knowledgeable and explains everything thoroughly so we can make the most informed choices. Keep up the great work!

Negative experience: We had a heartbreaking experience with Greencross Vets White Hills. When we walked in with our dog in desperate need of help, they told us they couldn’t assist because there were no vets available. We were shocked and devastated—this is supposed to be an animal care facility, yet they turned us away in an emergency. Because of this, our dog didn’t get the help he needed and sadly passed away. We will never forget how helpless we felt in that moment. If you truly care about your pet’s well-being, I would not recommend relying on this clinic in an emergency.

Negative experience: Kind and friendly team! That's about it. Don't be fooled by their cheap consultation price though - Brought my dog in for a consult. Was told $104 for consult, $50 for ear slide. Walk out 30mins later with a $265 dollar bill. Was told it's for the medication. Just checked the price of PMP Ear Suppression 30ml (what I was given). It's $21.99 in Australia. I was charged $110 dollars for $22 dollar ear drops.

Our regular vet wouldn’t even see our miniature schnauzer, so I rang Greencross and after hearing her symptoms they asked us to bring her in and she ended up having emergency surgery. Outstanding service - we’ll be taking all of our dogs to them in the future

Fantastic experience: Taking a dog with high anxiety to the vet can be difficult enough, but the team made the experience so easy and positive for us both! The vet and nursing staff were understanding, knowledgeable and clearly experienced in their assistance and understanding. Fantastic experience: Had a great experience with getting my cats nails clipped for the first time here. I let them know about a couple of issues I had trying to do them myself, and they assured me and made me feel at ease. She was in and out within a few minutes and looked very comfortable

Negative experience: Arrogant & money hungry with poor knowledge base. Went elsewhere & that vet immediately created a comfort care plan & was proactive in prevention of future issues. Much better (and more caring) vets in Bendigo than here.

Fantastic experience: Great service, fitted us in on the day. Provided the right advice and treatment the first time and prescribed a good amount of medication to treat the issue so that we didn't have to keep going back. The vet was lovely too.

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much to the vet care team. I have a special needs dog who is very anxious. The team absolutely amazing in fascinating my dogs needs. We vaccinated my dog and did an overall health check, we were there a while well after the standard consultation time but they only charged for the vaccination which I'm really surprised but extremely grateful for. The vet gave me behavioural advice and also said they will send a detailed treatment plan for ongoing needs. I was grateful that the consultation was straight to the point and I know exactly how and what we need to do to proceed in the future. It's meant so much to me as I don't know anything about dogs and I've had to rescue the dog out of a situation where her needs are not being fully met. I just can't praise these people enough. Thank you thank you thank you! ❤️

Positive experience: There are some great vets here and the staff are wonderful. Sometimes they are super busy, and there can be a bit of a wait and it pays to book in advance unless its an emergency as they can be booked out quite often.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful VET facility. Very friendly and professional staff starting from the qualified doctors to the front desk team. Our dogs have been in their care since we are in Bendigo. If there is some emergency, they could squeeze you in, liaise and responding in emails and weekend phone consultations and plenty of service to pet owners. Highly recommended.

Negative experience: I am absolutely lost for words… as a wildlife rescue volunteer with 5+ years experience working with various veterinary clinics and specialists I have never had such a poor experience with a vet. Last night we had an orphaned joey who’s mother was hit by a car leaving the joey alone on the roadside scared, in pain and in shock. After a member of the public stopped to help they took the joey to a nearby wildlife carer who noticed that there was a severe laceration to the poor little guy’s tail that needed urgent attention. Our emergency response coordinator called the after hours vet triage who organised a vet to meet the wildlife carer at Greencross Vet Practice in White Hills. The “vet” wanted to charge $900 to amputate the end of the joeys tail… may I say that every other veterinary clinic in the Bendigo area have never charged a wildlife rescue service to operate or treat native wildlife. In the end the decision was made to have the joey euthanised, all because this vet refused to operate or treat this poor little joey that needed help! Our team will never be visiting this clinic again as it is clear the only thing that matters to them is money. This horrible experience has left our team in tears and completely devastated.

Fantastic experience: Brought my duck in with an infection in her foot. Everyone was super welcoming and friendly. Dr Jack carefully inspected my Duck Orla, and was very informative and thoughtful when considering the best route for Orla's recovery. These guys are focused on the considerate care for your pet, and less about the money they could make. 5/5 experience!

Fantastic experience: Thank you to the fabulous staff at Greencross White Hills, my dog’s recent tumour removal was managed in a caring and compassionate manner. Everyone went out of their way to make sure that Tia, my faithful companion, and I were well looked after throughout the experience.

Fantastic experience: Forever thankful for the care the vets at Greencross White Hills have shown my pets. They helped me with my dog, Gadget, who was unwell and eventually had to be put down. They showed a great deal of compassion with his passing. And they're currently helping my cat, Himeko. Huge shout out to Dr Jack and Georgia (apologies if names are incorrect).
