Then a few weeks later, you came in and opened the clinic after hrs to put Shadow to sleep so I could have one more day to say goodbye to him. And thank you again for desexing at no charge the semi ferals I trapped abandoned next door. I am blessed to have you caring for my babies.PS And thank you Dr Trudy and staff for being available to answer my quandry re Phil's insulin dose when he slipped out of remission on a Sunday and then for chasing up the required insulin when all the local chemists said not immediately available . Above and beyond.

My dear Lucky is now nearly 20 years old and has been through very serious and dangerous operations, performed by specialist Dr Jo Elliott. Fantastic experience: Exceptional Compassion and Speedy Care at Para Hills Veterinary Clinic ​I cannot speak highly enough of the team at Para Hills Veterinary Clinic. We called in a panic about my mother's dog, Evie, and were incredibly relieved when they managed to book her in to see a vet within just a couple of hours. ​The vet who saw us was truly wonderful—so kind, patient, and immediately put us at ease. He quickly diagnosed the issue and prescribed anti-inflammatory tablets. ​The treatment was incredibly effective. Within 24 hours of starting the medication, Evie was visibly much better and more comfortable. ​Evie is exceptionally precious to our family, especially since we recently lost our dad, and knowing she received such prompt and high-quality care made a huge difference to us. We are so grateful for their professionalism and the compassionate way they treated our dear girl. If you are looking for a veterinary clinic that cares and acts fast, this is the one.

What I appreciated most about the Para Hills clinic was the cosy little room around the side where we had peace and privacy to spend our last minutes with him. Fantastic experience: After having gone to other vets across the years, I have never been to a vet clinic where they truly live the animals like this vet. All the staff greeted my dog as they went past, the vet nurse on the desk is always super friendly and makes you feel at home. The vets that i have seen have taken time with my dogs, especially my older more nervous dog. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this vet clinic to anyone that asks.

Fantastic experience: I can’t thank the entire team enough for the incredible care they gave our chocolate Labrador after he was hit by a car. It was one of the most terrifying moments we've ever faced, but from the moment we arrived, the staff were calm, compassionate, and completely focused. Dr. Kobi was absolutely amazing—thorough, gentle, and incredibly reassuring. The whole team worked quickly to assess and diagnose our Lab, all while keeping us informed and comforted. Their empathy and professionalism meant the world to us during such a stressful time. We’re beyond grateful for the care and dedication shown to both our dog and our family. Fantastic experience: My wife has been associated with Para Hills Vet Clinic for nearly fifteen years with the care of our oldest dog Sasha and our middle dog Lucy. When I met my wife over a decade ago, she immediately recommended that I take my own dog Paris (deceased) there. As Paris aged became unwell, Dr Cathy and the staff provided expert, sage, advice and care until Paris passed over The Rainbow Bridge. When we, eventually, bought a new puppy, we immediately took her to Para Hills Vet Clinic for a general checkup because we trust the professionalism and care they have provided us over the years. Now that Sasha is nearly fifteen years old, and in declining health, we have turned to Dr Cathy and the staff at Para Hills Vet Clinic for advice on how to manage her dignified journey towards The Rainbow Bridge. We value their opinion and know that they will only do what is best for our girls. My wife and I have only high praise for Para Hills Vet Clinic and absolutely endorse them to care for your pet. Negative experience: This place will cost you money you don't need to spend and will harm your pets like they did with mine. I'll never go there again.

Negative experience: I spend $170 for my 8 week kitten to treat the kitten ringworm the vet only recommend a fungal cream cost me $70 and it didn't help and the kitten know got all over his skin probably the want more visit same my private dentist.

Fantastic experience: I have been takeing my parents and my dogs for years and years . I live about total 30 mins each away i will allways go here. All the staff are fantastic. The staff are so friendly, careing and patient because one my dog dont like other dogs and some people because another owner used be abusive to her .I allways tell people take there animals here . I would like say a big thank you to Para Hills Vet for my lovely sympathy card. It was very hard have my dog (15yrs old ) put down because it was my dog and I got dog when my dad past away. They so careing and didn't hurry me up . They had a very private nice area to say goodbye to my dog.

Fantastic experience: Words can’t express how grateful my partner and i are with para hills vet clinic! we have always taken our children (dogs) here and they have gone above and beyond to help us out especially Dr Monique she is the most kind soul and has catered to our dogs needs, one of our dogs suffers from anxiety and panic attacks and they have always specially acquainted for him and on our most recent experience we were stuck in bali and our smaller dog had a bite wound to his face and rear and they were so lovely to keep us updated with the situation and give us the information at the time we we’re struggling to receive, we are forever grateful to these kind wonderful people i would strongly recommend this vet to anyone struggling with their dogs.

Fantastic experience: Great staff, they were happy to check a found stray cat for a microchip, it looked very similar to a family member's lost cat, unfortunately no chip detected. The once fiesty kitty came home with me anyway n now loves cuddles, pats & sleeping on my bed.

Fantastic experience: It was the nearest vet at the time and turned out to be a very good one. We have since moved and are about a half hour drive away. If we have an emergency the nearest vet would be the only option, but for a routine checkup we would go back to Para Hills.

Negative experience: I wanted to share some feedback about the recent service for my pet, Mooli, as I wasn’t entirely happy with the experience. During his nail trimming, two of his nails were cut too short, which caused bleeding. Unfortunately, no bandage was applied to help stop it. Additionally, the service felt incomplete as his front toenails still needed trimming, and when the session was over, my pet was awkwardly brought to my car without any explanation. Despite these issues, I was still charged for the full service. I understand that things can happen, but I’d like to kindly suggest a little more care and attention when handling pets in the future. They’re family to us, not training tools for staff. Thank you for taking the time to consider my feedback.

Fantastic experience: My cavoodle was very sick with a gastro virus and we were going away within a few days, they fitted us in for appts and sorted her out very quickly so we were happy to leave her. High recommended this vet clinic, staff helpful, understanding and reasonably priced.

Fantastic experience: The whole team are wonderful. Had my old cockerspaniel and new puppy in for different things and the care by the vets is second to none. The owner was at puppy school and is amazing and very helpful. After really bad experiences elsewhere, I highly recommend this vet.

Negative experience: I've taken a month to write this review, we've emailed the vet stating we had to put our dog down and say goodbye, with no response. I took my dog with concerns around bloating and overall health twice, once in Jan, then Feb. Come April, I take my dog again for the same concerns on a Friday, saying goodbye on a Sunday. SASH were 10/10 with him. I would recommend anyone with health concerns for dogs at aged 12 or older ASK for bloods, because it's not offered. If you've got a dog with running poo or bloating get a blood test done straight away by another vet. I had to say goodbye to my best mate, which wasn't the issue. It was the suddenness and fact I'd gone to TRUSTED sources for assistance.

Positive experience: Please take your bird to a specialised exotic vet. Although the vet was lovely & picked up the medical issue with my parrot immediately, she referred me to another exotic vet who could provide Coco with the treatment she needed. Please do not say you can diagnose & treat birds when you cannot. The receptionist should have referred me to the exotic vet immediately when I called & saved me precious time & consult fee. Coco unfortunately passed away. The Unusual Pets at Prospect did their best try & save her.

Fantastic experience: Para Hills has been my vet for over 15 years. There gave been times when I get in immediately because they considered the situation urgent. There have been times when I have had to wait, someone else's situation was obviously more urgent. I have had to go to an emergency vet on occasion and was told to wait. When it is an emergency, I don't expect to have to wait. I expect a triage and each situation assisted. i don't mind waiting when another pets needs are greater than mine. But in an emergency, I expect to be seen fast. Para Hills treats every situation individually. They are amazing. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Negative experience: Rang to make enquiries about getting my birds wings clipped. Explained what the appt was for. On the day Waited over 25 mins to be told they wouldn't do it and then charged for a consultation. Could have said no over the phone and saved me $65

Negative experience: Doesn't matter when you make appointment for, you always end up waiting with dogs barking and the staff never say anything. Waited nearly an hour once. Normally 30+min wait.There is a quiet corner but your still in the same room as other load animals. Makes for a stressful visit to the vets even more stressful for your animals & you.

Negative experience: The only way I could give review was to touch a star. No stars from me. Rang up to inform them that I had very sick feral cat. Told to contact rspca. Who then informed me that any vet has a duty of care no matter what. Para Hills Vets would not except this sick cat. Shame on you.

Positive experience: Addit: unfortunately the clinic is not open 8am on Saturdays per their website so I'll have to find another vet that has that time. It's a shame to end the association my dogs have had here but maybe a good time to find somewhere closer to home and a bit more affordable. I've been bringing my 2 small dogs to PHVC the past 6 years. The staff have been lovely, my 2nd chihuahua loved attending puppy preschool.

Fantastic experience: Every single staff member at Para Hills Vet are so caring, kind and helpful. Our two fur babies always feel so loved and I know they’re always in the best hands, particularly with Dr Monique Huffa. She is so knowledgeable, such a beautiful soul and helps puts our mind at ease whenever we’re emotional or stressed about our babies. Everything is well priced, and Dr Monique will always do her best to avoid surgery if possible unless it’s absolutely necessary. We know our two dogs are in the best care when they’re with her, they love her so much and my partner and I are so grateful to have found such an amazing clinic and vet to trust, and to help us whenever we need. Negative experience: If they make an error and don't record a booking in their system, they will not apologise or ensure that you're seen. Instead, what they will do is judge you like you're the one that made a mistake and turn you away. @Management - I called on the 9th of February at 9:57am to change an appointment. The person who answered confirmed that the appointment has been changed. On the day of the appointment they had no record of either my original or the changed appointment. Either your staff are incompetent or your systems need serious upgrading.

Fantastic experience: I won't take my beautiful girls anywhere else. These guys are freakin amazing. They actually care about your pets, dont want them in pain and they take such good care. If I get more animals this will be there vet. Nothing but good things to say about this place. I love them so much. Fantastic experience: I think we’ve seen every vet here with our various pets (dog, cats and bunny and the random injured native bird). Every single one has been kind and knowledgeable. Quotes and details on treatments are always given, options for treatments too. I never feel pushed into making a decision. If a treatment is quoted for but ends up not being needed, it’s not done (this has not been my experience with other vets we have used). The admin staff and nurses are lovely and have always fit our pets in when it’s an emergency. I have even heard them on the phone to others, going above and beyond to help get their pets in to see a vet also. I never feel rushed, I always feel listened to and our wishes and concerns are always considered. I feel very lucky to have a vet clinic close by with not just one vet, but 4-5 kind, experienced, caring vets and support staff who are equally as kind, experienced and caring. If I could give them 10 stars ⭐️ I would!

Fantastic experience: We've had problems with our dogs paw and it's been getting expensive with the visits. The vets have been looking out for us, not charging us for a few things here and there and making it a better experience. Easy to get into at times too.

We were in a panic, getting turned away from every vet, telling us to wait 6+ hours for an appointment time, Para Hills got us in ASAP and saw our little man. He was diagnosed quickly with not much time left. The vet's knowledge and compassion made this hard experience, a nice memory for us. Thank you to all staff, from the vet ast to the receptionist, you showed us respect, and respect for our dog, Rocky, in his last moments. Couldn't rate this place higher.
