Perth Vet Emergency Yokine

Fantastic experience: We had our first scary experience with an emergency vet when Cooper suddenly had uncontrollable vomiting. From start to finish, the team was incredibly helpful and supportive, and we would recommend them to anyone in need of guidance. There was virtually no wait—maybe 15 minutes—and we were seen straight away. What really stood out was their follow-up care: they checked in with us 2–3 times over the past week to make sure Cooper was recovering well and making progress. Exceptional care and service—thank you!

Fantastic experience: Can't thank PVE enough. Our cat Bug had eaten one of their toys and declined quickly needing surgery. They accommodated us visiting Bug before and after surgery, which really meant a lot (they even had a radio on for Bug, the care and love was so clear to us and put us at ease). The toy was removed without needing to cut into the intestines, truly an amazing outcome. Thank you so much Dr. Kat and the team of amazing vets, nurses and reception staff for keeping Bug with us. Not our first visit here either and have always been met with care and patience by the lovely people at PVE :)

Fantastic experience: A warm Welcome, excellent systems and great care taken of our little Pippin. Staff were all wonderful. The vets included Sue and Yolande, as well as staff on Reception and the vet nurses who took care of our cat overnight. Little measures such as text messages and photos to keep you informed was highly appreciated. The care they displayed for our pet was sincere. Highly recommended PVE.

Fantastic experience: After a stressful evening noticing my poor bunny had hurt her foot the team at PVE Yokine were absolutely phenomenal. They looked after our girl with great care and were able to relieve some of that stress! They were super friendly and accommodating to us ( new born and 3 year old along side ). Fantastic experience: My dog, of course, chose a public holiday to hop into some dark chocolate that I had accidentally left in (a svery stretched) reaching distance. The staff at PVE Yokine were fantatsic. I called first to check what I should do, and they took their time to ask questions and properly assess what had happened. Due to the amount of cholcolate (and size of my dog) it was considered urgent that we deal with the situation. The check-in staff, nurses and vet were all fantatsic. Thanks team for looking after Gertie so well!

Fantastic experience: The team at Yokine vets were absolutely fantastic with their service and care for our Hamish. We received updates on how he was doing while he was in hospital and they were very happy for us to call them whenever we wanted to see how he was going. Staff are very friendly and kind, despite Hamish being unwell he didn’t seem to be “uncomfortable”. Highly recommend. Thank you again for looking after him.

Fantastic experience: Staff were friendly and helpful in clinic! They sent me a picture in the morning to say how he had done over night, which I thought was a really nice personal touch. They have also followed up a few days after and again the following week. Great service would definitely recommend to friends!

Fantastic experience: I took my dog in at 4am Saturday morning. She was throwing up constantly and very sick. I was met by nurse Nicole who took us straight into a room. We were seen quickly by Dr Nicole who was very thorough. They took Lola to be treated immediately. Such a caring and empathetic team, I was put at ease very quickly that they would take good care of her. I was given several updates during the day and a lovely text message photo to show me how Lola was being cared for. During a stressful time, they gave the most amazing care and cannot be more grateful to them all. Thankyou

Fantastic experience: There just is no words for when your pet is sick and you have no idea what is happening and how to fix it. The Yokine PVE team were nothing but kind, considerate and caring when it came to helping us out last week. Their knowledge and experience was unmatched compared to vets we have seen over the years. Our 13 year old Red Heeler thanks to their comprehensive consultation and follow up is on the mend and back to his normal self. I highly recommend seeing the team and visiting them with your pet health concerns. Urgent or otherwise. It’s 5 Star rating from us!! And a big thank you from Zep!

Fantastic experience: I’ll be forever grateful for this team helping our little Mando aka Mandalorian help him after silently suffering not being able to wee. The care and effort they put in to not only make our little Mando feel better but also soothe us with constant messages and videos of how he was going. Mando is now home after spending a full day and night there last Sunday and care is still there. Checking in daily to make sure he’s ok and also making sure we’re doing what we need to for him so it doesn’t happen again. Thank you for making what’s always a scary worrying time, bring smiles and laughter knowing our little man was surrounded by the best care and love

Fantastic experience: I cannot thank the team enough for the care they showed Nala this weekend after she swallowed dental floss, which I never actually knew could be so dangerous. From the moment we arrived, the receptionist, nurse and Dr Kat treated us with such calmness, kindness and compassion. I am a very anxious dog mum, and Nala is an anxious fur baby too. I know I’m not the easiest person to manage when I’m scared for my dog — but not once did I feel dismissed or rushed. Their competence and professionalism were exceptional, but what stood out just as much was their empathy. In a moment of real fear, they made us feel safe. I am beyond grateful for the care Nala received and for the genuine kindness shown to both of us. Thank you for being there when we needed you most.

Fantastic experience: I just want to say a huge thank you to Dr Anney and all the staff at Perth Vet Emergency Yokine for helping my dog Rory, who thought it would be a good idea to eat some fabric with pins attached to it. Luckily he did not, in the end, swallow the pins‍just the fabric, which eventually came out the other end

Fantastic experience: The vet/ nurses were lovely and patient with my girl, she was very anxious but they made sure to give her plenty of space to ensure she didn’t feel more overwhelmed. Everyone who helped my Lili girl were kind and supportive throughout the whole process!

Fantastic experience: The Perth Vet Emergency team did a fantastic job taking care of our injured cockatiel very quickly. They updated us in every step of the treatment and helped us manage that stressful time. Much appreciated. I highly recommended them to any pet owner in need of urgent veterinary care.

Fantastic experience: I would like to give you my experience I had with my beautiful cat Rax, she was taken there on Friday night suffering breathing issues (asthma attack), as soon as I got there she was taken and put in oxygen, ai was very emotional to say the least, but the ladies at reception were just so beautiful and caring and assured me Rax was in the right place, they were so kids and offered my son some snacks and drinks and even a blanket as the rooms were pretty cold. Rax was kept in the night and I was able to call at anytime for a update which made the experience a lot easier. I was able to pick her up the next day after having a lot of tests and finding an issue with her thyroid, all the information was passed on to my Vet clinic for ongoing treatment. I was very delighted when I received follow up text messages asking how Rax was even a few days after. I am very grateful they were there in my time of need and so loving and caring. It takes very special people to be in that kind of job and I am grateful they were all there for us.. thanks again lovely team xo

Fantastic experience: I want to say many thanks to the dedicated compassionate professional team that helped in crisis situation to my fur girl Chilli. She got deeply cut her paw and they helped to decreased her anxiety and pain, and then effectively made surgery and provide follow up. I felt confident with them and would recommend them

Fantastic experience: Very happy with the service and especially the follow-up. My usual vet was immediately informed and I received detailed instructions. Turned out to be a minor issue, but I was not to know. I will definitely go back when there is an after hours emergency.

Fantastic experience: We were lucky to have a quiet night so we were seen very quickly. The lady at the front desk was lovely and helpful and the vet we saw was just the same, so cheery and happy to help. I hope i don't have to ever return to the emergency vet but I'll be coming straight back here if we do! I noticed thoughtful items for a late night vet, like charging stations for your phone and a little table with colouring for any kids that might have to tag along. It's the small details!

Fantastic experience: We had our dog Franklin in at PVE as he ate something he shouldn't have and had to have surgery to remove it. Everyone at PVE were amazing with Franklin and also keeping us informed of his progress over the two nights he stayed in his recovery.

Fantastic experience: I took my puppy here after he experienced bruising and a wound on his scrotum and the team were absolutely amazing. I felt like he was in the best hands and they did everything they needed to make him comfortable. They also got us in really quickly which was amazing. Thank you for taking care of my baby.

Fantastic experience: We called PVE Yokine at 9:00pm with our concerns for our puppy. They advised us (very calmly) that we would be best to come in straight away. When we got there, they were very calm, friendly and efficient in seeing us. We were kept up to date with the progress. This was a very pleasant experience in very stressful situation. Fantastic experience: Just wanted to reach out and thank the staff, Dr Sarah Barber, and I beleive a vet nurse named Amy, also the kindest receptionist. Im so thankful they took in my ferret and best friend Olive on a Sunday, when other options were unavailable. The staff understood the importance of how a small animal can go downhill so quickly and they rushed her straight through. It's been over six weeks now and im so thankful the team tried everything they could to save her. They allowed my remaining ferret Pancho to be there to say goodbye. Unfortunately, I was back 8days later with Pancho as the same symptoms took hold out of regular hours and he now joins Olive. My deepest thanks to all the staff who were compassionate and informative during this time. I dont know how you guys do it everyday but im so happy you do. Thankyou.

Fantastic experience: Great experience during a distressing time. The vet team was wonderful, contacting us with frequent updates and sending photos of our pup to ease our worries. The staff are very approachable and so helpful. The follow up post discharge has been amazing as well.

Fantastic experience: One of our Cavoodles suddenly refused to walk while on his afternoon outing It was Sunday night before Australia Day. Our regular vet had a recording recommending Perth vet emergency. This operates just as a hospital with triage and prioritisation. The triage team were great and the vet Dr Annie very thorough and kind. The treatment recommended was totally endorsed by our usual vet on a follow up appointment. Recommend this team to anyone needing out of hours vet assistance.

Positive experience: Staff at the Perth Vet Emergency were amazing. My dog had pyometra that required emergency surgery. All care provided was excellent and my dog is now happy and healthy back at home recovering. A big thank you to the Vets, Vet nurses and the reception staff. The cost of the surgery was a bit of a shock but I guess emergency surgery on a Sunday morning is to be expected. I’m just happy my girl is healthy and still with me. Thank you ☺️

Fantastic experience: Needing assistance for my dog Banjo at 5am and 10pm on a Friday was somewhat stressful. However, the PVE Yokine Staff were amazing. They were kind, calm and awake! I was so happy with the treatment Banjo received for his allergic reaction. Clearly all the staff are very good at what they do ⭐️ As a side note, I loved the easy listening music playing in the waiting area Thank you to all the lovely PVE Yokine Staff who looked after Banjo. He is back to his normal happy self and I have caught up on sleep

Fantastic experience: My dog was stung by a bee on Friday night while out walking and knowing from previous experience how allergic she is I took her straight to the emergency vet . They took her straight through and gave her an injection and I then waited there so they could do a proper examination of her . By the time we left the vet had removed the actual stinger from her ear and she was back to normal. Thanks to all the staff who realised the urgency and acted quickly . Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Fantastic experience: I have unfortunately had to take 3 of my dogs here on different occasions, each with varying emergencies. Each time, the staff have been absolutely wonderful! They are incredibly knowledgeable and clearly genuinely care for their patients. So grateful to have an emergency service like this!

Fantastic experience: Team were great. Proper emergency with a dog bite to face of my small dog. They saw her immediate to assess, and then as it wasnt critical (thank god) we didnt have to wait too long to be looked at. I always appreciate the work the emergency vet and nurses do, and so glad to have them nearby.

Fantastic experience: The team here were incredibly helpful with my dog recently, seeing him immediately and taking really great care of him, as well as taking me through details of his discharge and after care. All of the staff were very compassionate in what would be a very hard job.

Fantastic experience: I brought my dog in after she ingested a puffy fish. I called a head and as soon as I walked in we were seen immediately to start treatment. Monica was a calm and informed us clearly on the treatment plan to help my dog. Luckily treatment was successful and Nahla was able to come home that evening but we were given the option to leave her for monitoring. Monica was happy to answer our questions and I left feeling confident my dog was given the best treatment plan for something that could have been fatal. The clinic also had a ventilator which was reassuring if things went downhill. I appreciate the follow up text from Monica to see how my dog was and if I had any further questions. I felt the genuine care for my girl which was reassuring. Thank you to everyone at the clinic, it is not an easy industry to be in but being able to take my girl home and her be okay no words can describe <3

Fantastic experience: Emergencies are never nice especially when your fur baby is involved. PVE Yokine were amazing with me and my fur baby. I was upset and they were so calm and caring of me as well as my pet. They accommodated my fur baby's need to stay in the car due to anxiety until she was able to be seen. They listened so well and treated with such care. I felt so heard and supported. They even followed up a few days later to check in with how we we doing. They are just the angels you need after hours to help. Thanks you PVE Yokine.

Fantastic experience: amazing experience the vet made me feel really relaxed and comfortable when treating Baxter. especially as we came in at 4am and where very tired and anxious, they offered a really easy going experience and lots of positivity.

Positive experience: We took our golden retriever to the emergency vet in the middle of the night due to episodes of vomiting. He was triaged in a timely manner. There was a slight wait time but that is expected given its after hours and there were other patients in attendance. Had a good experience with Dr Sarah Barber, who was compassionate, informative and performed a thorough examination. She came up with a management plan and gave us options. Episodes of vomiting subsided and our dog didnt need to return for a follow up appt. The fees were also reasonable given its after hours. It was nice for their staff to follow up and get update on our dog after a few days. Not many places care enough to do that. Not our regular vet but based on our only interaction, they appear to be professional and friendly facility.

Fantastic experience: I want to share a heartfelt thank you to Katherine and Luke at Perth Vet Emergency Yokine. Tonight my pet bird Ace who is very close to me was unwell, so I visited during their emergency hours. Both Katherine and Luke were exceptional - calm, compassionate and understanding. I was seen promptly and put in a separate room to keep my small bird calm. I can only imagine how difficult both your jobs are, and to always show a smile and help everyone who was there is so impactful. Thank you both!

Fantastic experience: Took our fur baby boy in for some urgent treatment & the whole team were awesome. They all gave soo much love to our fur baby & cannot thank them enough. I got soo much help & info getting our boy back up & running. They checked in & followed up with how he was getting which was soo nice! Fantastic experience: Really good experience. Was worried about my cat and brought her in and the team were fantastic. As the waiting room was full of dogs they gave us our own room to wait in, they dimmed the lights and provided her with some feliway. Really appreciated the time and care everyone gave us :)

Fantastic experience: We needed to call on a Sunday evening when our puppy wouldn’t stop vomiting. I was reassured by the staff member I spoke to and was advised of what to expect when we arrived. We were attended to quickly and professionally, and we were able to get personalised treatment for our pup. The care and attention we receive was so comforting, and we left feeling less anxious and well cared for. I appreciated the aftercare messages, and they forwarded a report to our usual vet. I expected a large bill, being a Sunday night, but it was very reasonable and affordable.

Fantastic experience: The team at Yokine helped us with our border collie who wasn’t acting like himself and was in pain. We took him in and the team were amazing, my partner and I said we felt safer being there and speaking to others in the waiting room could hear how compassionate and caring the team was. They were able to diagnose and help us, only with what was required and we were satisfied with their knowledge, low cost and follow up check in. On Xmas eve it was the last thing we wanted was to be at the vet but I thank all the team spending their Christmas looking after our loved ones and for the beautiful work they do.

Fantastic experience: The team were fantastic, kind, caring, calm and very friendly. Service was very quick and reasonably priced for an after hours service. They sent a report to my dog’s regular vet about what had happened and they also followed up and check on him a few days later. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I just wanted to thank everyone who looked after our boy Sookie! He has always been a very grumpy cat and not the easiest patient by far but we love him none the less. His health had been detreating over the last 12 months and in the last week particularly I think he had decided to give up the fight to live. When I mentioned he was having trouble urinating reception staff were very through and took him straight out the back for treatment. The vet was very through and gave us some options. We decided to give him another chance and keep him in over night for treatment. He has IBD and ended up getting himself covered in poop! not unusual for him at all. I really appreciate nurse Nicole cleaning him up and giving him a clip especially given he is difficult to handle. We decided to take him home and monitor him for the day. After coming home from work later that day I feel his condition had worsened and his quality of like was no longer there. We would have done anything to keep him going but in the end we knew we had to do what was best for him. Being after hours we did not hesitate to head back down to PVE as they have always looked after us. I can't remember her name but the lady on reception was so kind and caring and took us straight into a room. All the vets and nurses who delt with him have been amazing and we cannot thank you enough for helping Sookie cross over in peace. Thank you Elsie & Callum.

Fantastic experience: Waited at another emergency vet for a hour in the car park (as ordered) with no-one helping me. Perth Vet was further away from home but not from this vet! So I called Petth Vet. Second visit in maybe 6 years as an emergency. Staff took my dog off me straight away to check what he needs then brought him back to me to keep him calm. Not too long afterwards, a lovely vet Sue had a final.look over him and advised the way forward. Staff did follow up calls, very caring. He's doing so well now. Thank you so much for a caring service.

Fantastic experience: We had reason to recently take our German Shepherd to yokine emergency vet, we nearly lost her but the staff at PEV were so understanding, caring and helpful with continuous updates, she spent the night there and again, calls at night and in the morning reassured us that she was in the right place. She was diagnosed and has been on Medication and now she is back to her self and although she will be on medication for life, she will be with us. Thank you so much all at PEV, in you we trust.

Fantastic experience: Nobody ever wants to take their beloved pet to an emergency vet, in my case my 1-year old dog Lando was recommended for an overnight stay to be monitored after a bout of vomiting which lasted all day. From the moment we arrived, the staff were kind and compassionate, and when we met with the vet Dr. Yolande, she understood my angst and worry. Staff were supportive throughout his stay, I called later that night and was told he was settling in, and I was sent a photo of him just before bed, which was reassuring and appreciated. In the morning, I was sent another photo and spoke to the vet who had monitored him through the night, Dr. Susan, who gave me an update on his progress, we were able to pick him up shortly thereafter, which was a relief. Thank you for looking after our sweet boy in his time of need, I would absolutely recommend this clinic and am happy to advise Lando made a speedy recovery!

Fantastic experience: I was quite miserable visiting the emergency vet with my pup on Christmas Day but the entire team on shift treated us both with so much kindness it really made a world of difference. I don’t remember the names of everyone on shift but the staff at reception helped coordinate with my reactive pup, despite the waiting area being so busy. Dr Kareena Tirodkar went so far above and beyond. She mentioned she was relatively new but I would not have been able to tell. She had a wealth of knowledge and left no stone unturned in her assessment and treatment. The team even helped with planning around complications over the Christmas period as my usual vet was closed. The entire team that was on shift should be commended for their exceptional efforts. I am so thankful and am still in awe of the work ethic care and kindness they demonstrated.

Fantastic experience: The wonderful team at PVE provided amazing care for Soss when she unexpectedly went into congestive heart failure. Thanks to them she was able to come home and we will get more time with her. They were so great with providing updates while she was with them overnight and clearly explaining what was going on to us. We are so grateful to them, thank you.

Fantastic experience: Our black Standard Poodle Shadow was behaving strangely and seemed to be in discomfort just before bedtime. I didn’t want to take any chances so I toook him to Perth Emergengy Vet at Yokine (1:00 AM) We were seen quite promptly be a Vet who happened to have Standards herself. Turned out he had strained himself rough housing with his brother and just needed anti inflammatory medicine. The service was exceptional, very friendly, kind staff. They followed up the next day to see how is going Thankyou

Fantastic experience: We came in for an emergency consultation. Everyone at Perth Vet Emergency Yokine has been very helpful and knows what they were doing. The receptionist was very accommodating and quick to action. Checking in was also very seamless with their online form. They were also able to manage expectation in terms of waiting time and we were served within the time range they’ve given. The doctor was very professional and caring that our Beanii got at ease with her. Everything went well and our little Bean is now getting better. Thank you Perth Vet Emergency Yokine!

Fantastic experience: We brought our chihuahua in for an emergency and the reception nurses were kind, respectful and helped us through everything we needed to get done before we could see the vet. Our vet was Kat and she was amazing. Our chihuahua is generally very anxious and shaky, and Kat was gentle with her and moved slowly so she wouldn’t be overwhelmed. She provided us with all the possible options and price ranges, even providing their own recommendations for treatment based on historical instances with similar dog breeds. When we got our dog home she was a little out of it from the anaesthesia but she’s already made a full recovery and is doing great.

Fantastic experience: The vet who attended to me and my cat here at this Yokine 24/7 vet showed great empathy and kindness. Comparing to Balcatta 24/7 vet I went to beforehand I would reccomend this Yokine vet. Vet working at Yokine saved my cats life. Whereas Balcatta vet I went to beforehand just wanted to put my cat down, showed no empathy at all just wanted the money ($7000 for Balcatta vet to treat his urinary tract bloccage or put him down) whereas Yokine treated plus medication and guide for at home just over $400 and never once spoke about putting him down or that the cat wouldnt make it to another vet as the one i originally went to told me) , so I come to this Yokine vet and my cat was treated, vet genually happy for my cats improvement in health. Many thanks for this Yokine vet, reccomend Yokine vet centre. Day before Christmas-so happy with this Yokine vet.

Fantastic experience: Thank you for looking after our Juni who wasn’t breathing properly at 2am on Christmas eve. Dr Sue diagnosed a bee sting in her throat and said it was the third one that day! So watch out people and pups for those bees. She was right as rain after being medicated! Than you!

The vet team, nurses and reception crew were all lovely and provided ongoing updates and reassurance over the three days of treatments. Thank goodness for the beautiful team at PVE who sorted him out within one hour so we would be home before Santa arrived. Cannot speak more highly of the care we received. Fantastic experience: Absolutely outstanding care from the emergency vet team. Our pugalier, Ava, had excessive bleeding from her nails/paws and we were understandably very worried. From the moment we arrived, the staff were calm, professional, and incredibly reassuring. They acted quickly, knew exactly what to do, and explained everything clearly along the way. Ava was treated with real care and compassion, and the outcome was excellent. You could tell this team genuinely cares about animals and knows their stuff. We’re extremely grateful and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing emergency veterinary care.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful staff of vets and nurses that really care about looking after your pet. They took in my boy as an emergency case and were very calm and assuring when I was a distraught mess. The regular text updates when he had to stay overnight for monitoring was really sweet and soothed my nerves, knowing he was being loved and cared for when he was just as scared as I was. Fantastic experience: Great experience with Perth Vet Emergency. Brought our cat in after an asthma attack in the middle of the night. She was well looked after, sorted a treatment, handled the insurance paperwork plus they followed up to make sure she was ok a couple days later. Will definitely be bringing Pickles back if something like this happens again! Thanks!

Fantastic experience: All staff were calm, empathetic, and genuinely caring. They offered great advice over the phone before arriving, and take the time to explain everything clearly. I never felt silly or dismissed for bringing my pet in, which meant a lot during a stressful moment. Days later, they followed up with supportive texts to check in, which shows how much they care beyond the visit itself. We did have a fairly long wait time, but it was completely understandable due to triaging other pets with more urgent needs. To anyone else that may find themselves waiting, please be calm, patient and respectful. The team here does an incredibly important and difficult job, and they do it with compassion and professionalism. These are amazing people who deserve nothing but appreciation.

Fantastic experience: Staff were extremely calm and reassuring as I was stressing about the chocolate my little dog Dash helped himself to. I called 2 other emergency vets that night but am glad I chose the Yokine clinic. They were more affordable with payment options too which is great just before Christmas. Fantastic experience: Just a week after my dog had an overnight stay at Perth Vet Emergency (PVE) Cannington, we found ourselves at the Yokine location. I have found the staff at both locations to be empathetic, patient and caring. When I burst into tears immediately upon arrival, the vet nurse who greeted us kindly took us outside to have some privacy after checking that there were no rooms available to complete triage. Once we were called in for the initial consult, the vet took down some initial notes and reviewed some recent test results. She clearly explained her assessment and her recommendations for the next steps, with consideration of potential costs. I opted to have my dog stay overnight, and although I am worried for his health, I take some comfort in knowing that he is in good hands and with the team at PVE Yokine. I really appreciate the care and kindness we have been shown.

Fantastic experience: We are incredibly grateful for the care our cat Oscar received from PVE Yokine and the Perth Cat Hospital over several stressful days. Oscar had a swollen abscess and we saw vets three days in a row. After biopsy results showed inflammatory cells, he was booked for surgery the next morning. Unfortunately, the abscess burst after hours that evening. Perth Cat Hospital advised that if his symptoms were concerning we could attend PVE, so we did. The PVE team were wonderful, they drained and cleaned the abscess thoroughly and kept Oscar comfortable. The next morning, we returned to Perth Cat Hospital and were so impressed that all of Oscar’s PVE treatment notes were already visible in their system. The vet was able to finish draining and cleaning the abscess without needing a general anaesthetic, confirmed his teeth and gums were healthy, and started a 7-day course of antibiotics. Our cats are gentle ragdolls who rarely play rough, but a small scuffle likely caused the abscess. Both teams were calm, professional, and incredibly kind throughout (even with a fire alarm going off during treatment at PVE!). Highly recommend both clinics.

Fantastic experience: The staff were very family friendly and accommodating. The wait time is not as long as you think, high priorities go first of course with minor issues getting looked at around a 1-2 hour wait. It’s def worth waiting because all the veterinarians are fantastic in what they do.

Fantastic experience: We are so lucky to have this after hours vet clinic nearby. All the staff are so dedicated and we felt so relived that our Labradoodle was in good hands with excellent advice. The very tired and overworked vet sent a very detailed report to our usual vet and was so helpful.

Fantastic experience: We have been using Perth Vet Emergency in Yokine for several years. We have two elderly cats and a greyhound. Perth Vet Emergency is open 24/7. We have found the staff to be professional and knowledgeable. They are always available when pets have been hospitalised. They even send photos of the patient during the day and before bed. I think that's a great feature. Although the treatment is not cheap, they offer several payment options. If you have pet insurance, and so do insurers, gap pay, then that's a good option too. Once your patient is discharged, you can always call and ask for further advice, and the staff will always be willing to help. Overall, to date has been a positive experience and would give Perth Vet Emergency 4/5 rating.

Fantastic experience: A Sunday evening emergency consult left me confident my dog was in safe hands with highly qualified staff. He was triaged appropriately & I was immediately told how long I was likely to wait. After admission, I received texts and photos of him which was comforting. I highly recommend PVE Yokine when an emergency occurs.

Fantastic experience: We took our pup there for overnight care after he had emergency surgery. The staff were flat out with a packed waiting room but made us and our beloved pup feel genuinely cared for. They sent a message and photo of him around 10.30pm and he was well enough to come home the next morning. Thanks to all the staff there and our local vet who had a tricky surgery to perform. Pup recovering well!

Fantastic experience: Perth Vet Emergency in Yokine were simply amazing when we rushed in after one of our kittens had a nasty fall and was injured. We were seen quickly, and every member of the team was so kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable. When our little one had to stay overnight, they even sent us a photo to reassure us he’d woken up safely after his anaesthetic and x‑rays — such a thoughtful touch that meant the world. I can’t recommend this wonderful place highly enough.

Fantastic experience: Came to the vet Sunday night, my dachshund had eaten a pile of grapes. They saw him quickly (only 10 min wait) and proceeded to treat very quickly. Induced vomiting, an injection and some charcoal later, we were ready for home! Only there just over a hour in total. Staff very caring and knowledgeable. I usually come here for emergencies (live 25 mins drive away).

Her genuine compassion and dedication to my pet’s wellbeing were evident throughout the entire visit. Fantastic experience: I brought my little boy Itchy (Dachshund) in to the vet on a Sunday. He was out of character so I thought best not to muck around and get him checked out. They found that he had a torsion testicle the only option was to have his removed to prevent it happening again in the future, which it mostly can. So I went ahead. I didn’t expect to have him back in my care that night. They were fast and prompt and answered all my concerns making it easy for me to care for my boy. I’ve had no idea how to go about this situation but they made it easy. I’m almost 5 days in just a few more left and my boy is healing up well. Positive experience: We were very lucky to get Polly in to the Yokine emergency Vet clinic around 7 PM Friday night. The team immediately went to work and we were relieved our very sick girl was in good hands. Constant updates and visits were quite distressing until finally on Monday morning we brought her home with little hope she might improve. Now Tuesday evening and she has perked up a little showing signs she is feeling a little better. We hope and pray she gets well and thank the team who cared for her. After losing her brother last week, this unfolding and the huge bill shock it has not been a good lead up to Xmas

Fantastic experience: A friendly greeting from the receptionist when we arrived. We had a little wait and the lovely vet we saw,Monica, apologised.They were busy so it was quite understandable We were just so pleased that someone was there to look after our dog Barney. Monica was reassuring and gave Barney a good once over and diagnosed the problem. She was great with him and to be honest if we always saw Monica I would travel the extra distance for all of Barney’s care needs.

Fantastic experience: We took Rocky to Yokine Pet Emergency Hospital after he stepped on a fishing hook. The staff were friendly, explained the process clearly, and took great care of him. They removed the hook quickly, and he’s a happy boy again. Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience: I was really worried about my 4 week old pup as he was struggling to have a . Unfortunately my local vet was closed after hours so I headed to Yokine. They were really good and set my mind at ease. Gave him a little painkiller and injected some fluid under his skin just in case he was dehydrated. He was fine the next day and going to the toilet by himself. Great service and lovely staff. Thank you

Fantastic experience: Rubri was so patient with our deaf (and usually anxious at the vet) staffy, he was the calmest we’ve seen him. A HUGE grass seed had climbed its way into his nose and wouldn’t come out, but they did everything they could and got it out without needing to go to a specialist thankfully. It was a huge relief when he came out of emergency surgery grass seed free and a quite amusing sight since he was very very dopey from the anaesthetic. Here’s a cute photo of Atlas struggling to stay awake when we got home, he was tucked in not long after Thankyou so much!!

Fantastic experience: Went to Yokine emergency vet on Saturday cause my pup ate a big piece of bone and it got stuck in his intestines. The nurses there were very friendly and the vet, Cat was very nice and helpful. They sent updates every few hours that my dog was there. It was comforting cause he had a big surgery. Even check up after he was discharged. Would recommend if you need emergency vet visit.
