Positive experience: A little pricey . But a beautiful place. I think vetenairians need to be thinking about pensioners who live there pets be fair with pricing. My dog has a lump but they wanted to exray both legs??? Then wanted to charge nearly$1500/2000.00 My poor boy is going to have a limp for sometime. Can't afford that sorry to much expense.

Fantastic experience: We really appreciate Swan Valley Vet Centre service for the professional help and care we received yesterday. Dr Chris helped us through our hardest decision we had to make with our little dog Max. We both agree that he brought us so much comfort and strength to make our decision. From our hearts we would like to say thank you to all in making our hardest day bearable for our much loved pet and friend Max.

Fantastic experience: Can’t thank Dr. Iris and the team enough! Every time I need they manage to squeeze me in last minute. This time my cat was being super naughty and swallowed his toy, but Dr. Iris is professional, patient, and reassuring, even though the clinic was packed. Fingers crossed, my cat seems fine (touchwood!) and even pooped out some pieces he swallowed. Definitely feel like he’s in really good hands with Dr. Iris. :)

Negative experience: Recently I took our dog to Swan Valley Vet for a consult for an ear infection. I decided to give them a go as they were recommended by a friend as being "more affordable" than Vet West where we had been going for years. We saw the vet, was precised antifungal ear drops and he also recommended Dermcare Otoflush which I took as we were out of ear cleanser. I paid the bill, the receptionist said she will email the invoice. Got home, opened the invoice and was shocked to see they charged me $75 for a small bottle of Otoflush that sells online for around $25 including shipping. I contacted the practice and was advised by the practice manager the excessive charge was due them "not having the same buying power as the online retails. Three times the price? I don't think so. Which is why I advised her I will not be returning and whilst I'd love to support locally owned businesses, I cannot justify this and the reason the provided just doesn't cut it.

Negative experience: You can clearly hear staff conversations through the consult room door, which came across as unprofessional and lacking empathy. The front counter appeared to be run by very young staff, and the overall tone I experienced felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I left feeling judged rather than supported. With many other options in the area, I’ve chosen not to return. Given their previous negative public feedback, I had hoped for a more positive and improved experience. Don’t waste your time here, go to Runyon Road Vets Midland instead.

Fantastic experience: Great people and facilities for dogs. They can relax in the garden instead of waiting in the waiting room for their appointment. Strongly recommend

Fantastic experience: My family have trusted Swan Valley Vets for our last few fur babies, but this was my first time going through it with my own baby. Their care, attention to detail, and kindness meant the world to me. They treated Marlee as if he were their own, and I’ll forever be thankful for the love and respect they showed him. We will be using them as our fur babies vets in the future.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to the wonderful staff for the care of my sons German Shepherd Hector. Dr Kristin was so kind and compassionate. They did not hesitate to fit us in when I couldn't get into Hector's previous Vet. Thank you for all your care you are a wonderful vet clinic.

Negative experience: Unfortunately we won’t be returning. Booked my dog in for a nurse consult but was instead, unbeknownst to me, booked in for a vet consult instead. We did not want a vet consult as the vet had previously advised to book the repeat cytopoint injections with the nurse. This saves the cost of a vet consult. Instead, we are now out of pocket for the vet consult, and all for a 5 minute conversation with the vet. The longest part of the consult was the vet preparing the cytopoint. Was told I should’ve specified the appointment I wanted. But I advised that I clearly specified, when I booked, what I wanted. A repeat cytopoint with the nurse as the vet has okay’d this. Reception admitted to the fault being with the staff member who booked us in, but we still cannot get a refund because we still saw the vet. I’m really disappointed but won’t be returning to a practice that cannot take accountability for their staff’s errors. Money is limited to some of us in this economy, and a lot of us prioritise our dog’s health, but this was an unavoidable error that has not been taken responsibility for.

Fantastic experience: This is a good vet clinic. I've been using them for 10 years now, and I am very happy how they care for my animals. They are so supportive during the difficult times, and they care about you and your pets.

Fantastic experience: I truly can’t speak highly enough of this vet clinic. The staff are absolutely wonderful. We had to make the heartbreaking decision to put our dog to sleep last week, and throughout the entire process, they were incredibly kind, calm, and compassionate. Our dog was very anxious by nature, but they handled him with such care and sensitivity. I unfortunately don’t remember the names of the lovely women who helped us, but I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. This is such a difficult time for us, and I can only imagine how tough it must be for them as well. Their empathy and professionalism meant the world to us.

Fantastic experience: Couldn’t rate this vet clinic higher! We’ve recently seen Dr Janae and Dr Amy whose approach has been caring, gentle, and thorough. Our anxious rescue dog has never been so calm and cooperative at the vets. The facilities are very well thought out and maintained. There are 2 separate inclosed areas to wait outside with dogs, allowing them to sniff and explore before their consultation. Inside they also have a separate cat waiting area. All of the staff are considerate and go out of their way to make sure pets feel comfortable and safe. Would highly recommend :)

Fantastic experience: Love that you can book appointments and that they have a fairly big space to wait inside, along with a dedicated cat waiting area. They've looked after our dogs for the last couple years and have been really great to deal with.

Fantastic experience: After having a horrible experience at another vet, and less than fantastic care at 2 others, I decided to give swan valley vets a try. This was the absolute best decision I ever made for my old boy. I’ve dealt with 3 different vets there over the last 2 years but usually will see Dr Kristin. Every single vet there has been truely compassionate and caring towards my boy. Dr Kristin went above and beyond to save him after he suddenly developed a blocked airway last year. She was honest about his chances and transparent with the costs involved in emergency surgery. She has also given fantastic care to keep his Cushing’s syndrome under control and assisted in giving me tips to keep him doing well. My boy has now lived 2 years longer than we expected after our last vet practice told us he had to be put down due to a (non existent) liver tumour. He’s now lost all of his cushings weight and his fur has even grown back. He’s back to being his happy little self! All of the vet nurses and admin staff are wonderful to deal with. My little guy happily gallops in to greet them all. I always refer everyone I know to go and see them! Thank you all ♥️

Fantastic experience: Dr. Mike has been amazing with my boy. He’s very knowledgeable and I won’t be taking him to anyone else from now on! His honesty, willingness to help and understanding of individual financial situations seems to be a hard trait to find in the veterinary industry these days but I’m so glad I found him. He is thorough and happy to answer any questions. I would highly recommend him to anyone! The whole team at Swan Valley has always been a pleasure to deal with ☺️

Negative experience: We recently took our rescue cat to Swan Valley Vet with a very heavy heart. After three years of caring for her, we made the difficult decision to help her pass peacefully. Our cat had endured severe trauma before coming to us, including abuse, early motherhood, and losing half her litter at birth. Since then, she has led a fearful, isolated life, hiding from everyone, including us, and rarely interacting. We felt it was time to give her the peace she deserves, free from constant anxiety. Dr. Ellie, however, did not support our decision and instead questioned us extensively. She offered surrender options, missing the core reason we were there: to give our beloved cat a compassionate end. We understand that veterinarians have ethical considerations, but we felt judged rather than understood in a situation that was already incredibly painful. While we respect Dr. Ellie’s professional perspective, we hoped for more empathy and support for our choice, which we made out of love for our cat and her well-being.

Negative experience: I have a cocker spaniel, who is always having ear infections, I've explained that he has had all the testing done and always gets prescribed the same meds after each test. They won't prescribed it without a consult and a swab each time..... They also charged me double the recommended retail for Otto flush ear cleaner.... $65 for a 125ml bottle, other vets charge $35. I called to see if a mistake had been made and the lady said. I don't control the pricing which I understand..... but double is ridiculous This is our local vet, I will not be returning after being charged a obscene amount for an on going issue that all cocker spaniels are prone to

Negative experience: With regard to the private hire space, the black biting ants are terrible. We have just joined Classes held in this space and my poor dog was getting bitten no matter where we moved to. I know this was a problem before as we used to have breed catchups but relocated due to the ant situation. It’s a real shame this issue hasn’t been addressed by the property owners. If you use this space make sure you put some kind of repellent on your dog before you put them in.

Fantastic experience: Unfortunately had an emergency situation today and were struggling to find a vet with availability. Even though Swan Valley Vet Centre were booked, once we explained the situation they were able to fit us in within the hour. All staff we dealt with were very kind, accommodating and understanding. Made a difficult decision and situation easier and had many accommodations to fit what was required for the pets needs. It was our first visit & we would return

Fantastic experience: I have a very nervous dog, who doesn't like vets. Or people at all. Or other dogs. Or loud noises. Just about anything, really. I'm always impressed by how helpful and accommodating everyone here is.

Fantastic experience: Dr Kristen and Sian were just amazing when we said goodbye to our dog. Kind, compassionate and with patience. My daughter got to paint his paw to create paw prints, a memory I’m sure will stay with her forever. We fed him chocolate treats as we said goodbye. Highly recommend the team at swan valley vets.

Fantastic experience: We have been going to Meg for so many years now ive lost count and when she started her own veterinary clinic we followed her here too. We have laughed and cried together and wouldn't trust our pedigrees to anyone else. Krissie and all the staff at Swan Valley are gorgeous and professional. No question is a silly question and they are always happy to help. I thoroughly recommend this practice. You cant go wrong.

Fantastic experience: We were looking for a coffee after travelling a long distance but wanted somewhere that accommodated our canine companion. We could not have planned our stop here any better if we tried. It just happened to be Daschund play day! We look forward to coming back again one day.

Fantastic experience: The only place we’ll go. They practice fear free treatment and are patient and understanding of your furry friends. They have a “sniffari” with various plants such as mint and lemongrass for enrichment and will meet you in the sniffari to trim your dog’s nails in a less clinical and more relaxed environment. We love the Swan Valley vet ❤️

Fantastic experience: We got recommended the therapeutic pool from another veterinary clinic to help our dog who has hip dysplasia lose some weight and build some muscle around the joint and all I can say is it's working wonders for her, she goes every week for 30 mins and just loves it. She struggles a little bit up the ramp, but that's to be expected for her. We are just so grateful to have a place like this around the corner from us to help our dog out, thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: I took my girl, Lady to see Dr Meg Last Thursday for her Cartrophen booster and a refill of her Thyroxine meds so we didn’t run out over the holiday period. They couldn’t fill the thyroxine script at Bullsbrook and DR Meg offered to drop off on her way home as I couldn’t get back until New Year due to working extra hours on the lead up to Christmas. The poor love dropped the meds off at my home tonight at about 7.30pm, just as I was serving up dinner. I wanted to to give her a bottle of Prosecco for Christmas and to say thanks but she declined. I am so thankful, she dropped those meds off so my girl can be kept healthy and this is a perfect example the care Dr Meg gives to her patients. Always remember that your Vet has a life outside of work too and for her to be dropping meds off at that hour of the evening is a demonstration of that care. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas to Dr Meg and the team at Swan Valley Vet. I appreciate the hard work and dedication they give. I hope that Dr Meg was able to put her feet up and rest tonight before another day tomorrow taking care of our fur babies. Thank you from myself and Lady

Fantastic experience: This pool for the dog is awesome. It is really well priced. They have life vests for your dog and you can jump in a well if you want. You may think 30 minutes isn't long enough but your dog want use the pool for half that time and still be tired. I spoke with some staff and they said if they get some interest in the pool (people using it) they would love to be able to invest in a bigger and better pool which could be used year round. So if you want to keep and even develop this great service book a session.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend this practice enough. They helped our beautiful, old boy when he suddenly fell sick. He spent the day in the clinic and was absolutely loving all the love and attention he got. I received calls and updates throughout the day which kept our minds at ease. After having tests, receiving fluids and medication, he came home a very happy boy and was no longer sick and in pain. The veterinarians and nurses have all been amazing to deal with. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Excellent staff! Great with my two furbabies Ninja and Zen. Zen had torn 4 claws off and they gave him pain relief and feliway spray to help keep him calm. They fit me in straight away the morning I called. There was a line up of cars at the gate at opening and they had plenty of staff to help quickly. Covid safety protocols were also adhered to as we were in a 5 day lockdown.

Fantastic experience: Lovely place, amazing staff and great service! Highly recommend to anyone who needs a vet in swan valley area :) I am also recommend their puppy kindy classes that is conducted by their vets, very good socialization experience for your puppies in a safe environment.

Fantastic experience: Was a hard decision to make. Had to put my beautiful old boy Zak down. These guys are so friendly and professional went out of their way to help us. And thank you to the young girls for helping me out with my grandson while everything was going on. I appreciate everything these guys have done for us.
