Fantastic experience: Awesome care of our groodle Milo was very well looked after and all the staff including vets and receptionists were so helpful and understanding. I appreciated how you prioritised Milo during triage so you could induce vomiting as quickly as possible after he'd eaten grapes. I think it made a huge difference in his recovery so I'm really appreciative and there was no judgement.

Susie is just amazing and has shown an outstanding level of care to both our mini daschunds and their sensitivity to medication, particularly anaesthetics. They are both also anxious and dramatic in recovery, and when Susie phone me on Tuesday, Mimi was in her lap because she gets stressed in the cage. Susie really does go above and beyond and deserves to be recognised :-) What I appreciated most is the high standard of care and care shown by everyone on your team.

Fantastic experience: Very satisfied with the service received. All staff were amazing! A big shout out to the lady at reception with the dark brown hair and glasses. (Sorry I forgot names). We brought our GSD on Tuesday night as an emergency walk-in and had to bring him in the following 2 nights as well for follow up blood tests. Over the 3 nights that we had to come in for tests/treatments every staff member that we interacted with was very compassionate and professional. They were understanding and did their very best to fit our dog in between emergencies and booked appointments.

Fantastic experience: We were met with care and consideration, even though obviously busy. Every member of staff was delightful. What I appreciated most is the care and attention exceeded my expectations at a 24-hour practice, every member of staff was wonderful, knowledgeable and helpful. My dog is 12, and I was really worried that we were visiting someone she didn't know, there was absolutely no need to worry - she loved them too! I would definitely recommend and return if needed.

Negative experience: I am traumatised by my experience at this clinic. My 4 month old puppy. could suffer long time health implications due to not being treated quickly enough at vet24. I called at 12.44 and explained that my puppy had eaten some of my medication. The receptionist spoke with the vet and I was told this was.a toxin amd to bring her in straight away as time frame was important. Arrived at 12.53, we waited in the waiting room until 1.30. I had questioned the reception, asking if it was important that she be treated before she digested and absorbed the medication . She was triaged at 1.30and medication to induce vomiting was administered at 1.40, almost one hour after she ate it. The first time I spoke to the vet was 2.10 There was no consult with a vet before she was treated. I was horrified and upset when the vet informed me that the the medication she ate doesn’t cause immediate health risks but in the long term it could affect her bone marrow and cause her to bleed internally, if this happens she would need a blood transfusion, when I questioned why she had not been treated sooner she claimed that she was not a high priority. I am used to a level of care from my regular vet, this would never have happened there. I wish that I had chosen a different “emergency” clinic, if my puppy suffers log time health effects i will never forgive myself for taking her to Vet24.
Hi Clare, it's very distressing when your pet eats something it shouldn't. A reminder to us all to keep our medications, safely locked away from curious puppies. Looks as though the prognosis is good for your puppy though so that is great, we always advise on all possible outcomes and recommended follow up blood tests to check on her progress. After reviewing your visit I can see that you were triaged effectively, emesis was prioritised and you had consultation with the vet afterwards, which is often a procedure we follow to expedite the process of emesis. We are an emergency hospital and sometimes, depending on what comes in, triage means some patients must wait. We had multiple other emergencies during this time. I must note that after waiting 10 minutes, you began complaining about us on social media, then after treatment was performed, you walked out of our hospital without paying. You also threatened our staff and told them you would make a video on Social Media to 'warn others'.
We work hard at Vet24, to ensure we can provide care to everyone 24/7. It's a difficult job, and tough on all staff mentally and physically. Behaviour like yours contributes to the overall struggle for positive mental health among veterinary professionals, and retention of these special people in this industry. Please take your business elsewhere. Vet24.
Fantastic experience: Team were fantastic. Emergency trip for our dog, time frames and pricing were explained. The front of house staff, nurses, vets, surgeons and everyone else then over delivered. A very bad situation, with an amazing outcome. What I appreciated most is you saved my dogs life.

Positive experience: Took my cat to Emergency vet here due to my cat having a swollen face. Honestly quite disappointing vets. Receptionists need to work on customer service plus answering the phone, also I understand being busy, but over 3hours more to actually do a procedure, but even 2hrs to see just for a check up, it's pretty bad. The down part is seeing a nurse to have my cats half of her whiskers cut off which honestly could be avoided.

Fantastic experience: I cannot recommend Vet24 Balcatta enough. I returned home following an outing to find my 8 year old Staffy had been bitten by a snake. He was in an incredibly bad way when I found him. The whole process from the pre-call to check they had enough antivenom to the moment we checked out was great. All the staff were so kind and helpful given the severity of what was happening and that I attended with my newborn, toddler and other dog who isnt fond of vets. The staff went above and beyond to provide a colouring in for my toddler to ensure I could be present for the discussions. Milo walked out the next day after an overnight stay and required medication with the ability to continue living his life. I am so endlessly grateful. Thank you.

Fantastic experience: Everyone we encountered at Vet 24 was welcoming, calming and professional. I came in with my dog in tears and left feeling so reassured. I was then further put at ease when I received a clinical discharge summary from the visit where I could read the clinical findings from the appointment. Both staff we saw were so lovely!!! What I appreciated most is the calming atmosphere and kindness although the clinic was busy no one made you feel rushed.

Negative experience: I took my very ill elderly dog here in an emergency and I was left alone in a room with her for 3 hours while the Vet assessed urgency of other pets. I understand they need to treat based on the situation of the patient, but my dog was extremely unwell. When we arrived my dog was still able to walk by herself. By the time I was seen by the vet, I had already spoken to the reception multiple times explaining that my dog was quickly deteriorating and needed attention because of how sick she was quickly becoming. She ended up having an accident all over the wall and floors, which is when the vet finally saw her and she could no longer even stand by herself. Blood tests were done, and by the time she was finally properly assessed her organs had failed, her breathing was significantly too slow, and her liver was not functioning. She was in critical condition and relying on an oxygen mask, and unfortunately had to be euthanised. I believe that if my dog was seen sooner and more highly prioritised and cared for, like I asked, the outcome would have been very different. While I do not think she would have been completely cured, I do believe she would not have had to have been euthanised. However, it was clear that the staff really cared for every individual patient. I do not think it was laziness or dismissal of any kind, rather poor communication and judgement. Since my dog did not look externally unwell she was left for way too long untreated despite my worries and efforts. I don’t blame the staff for what unfortunately happened since it is no one individual’s personal responsibility, but I do think that communication and coordination needs to be significantly reevaluated.

Negative experience: Unhappy with exeprience today. $130 consult. They identified my cat had ringworm. Appreciate that. Then, rather than provide me with any useful info, they used Google to search how to handle it. They read out some of the information Google provided and ultimately instructed me to go home and google it myself. $130 for a 15 min consult to be told to go google it myself is appalling and then I was charged $60 for a 50mg fungal cream that I googled when I got home and turns out I can buy it for $26 online... So overall this experience was a complete utter rip off.
Negative experience: Just another thing Balcatta vets don't do. Have never done. Because they don't show empathy towards owner or pet. My current vets made the effort to send a sympathy card out for my beloved pet I had to euthanize. I'm glad I changed vets. So much more affordable now where as you'd have to take a second mortgage out on your house just to afford Balcatta vets fees.

Fantastic experience: A wonderful Vet. They were so caring of our darling lady cat who was on seizure watch. Also thoughtful and caring of us as carers. We received all the information we needed to make a decision about Violet's care. The vet nurses kept us posted on her status. Everyone was helpful and kind - and it was pretty busy but we never felt pushed or hurried. So grateful to have this service available. You are so very much appreciated and valued. We will NEVER forget how you helped us - its impossible to put into words the relief we felt knowing our much loved girl was in such compassionate and caring hands.

Fantastic experience: I've been taking my pets, Missy dog, Bruce and Inky (cats) to Vet 24 for a number of years. They have always been treated with care and professionalism by nurses, vets and reception staff. Usually I take them without an appointment because if one is sick or injured it needs to be sorted as quick as possible. Sometimes the wait time is longer but we are always treated well no matter if morning or late night. The fact that they are open 24/7 is an added bonus, that I can rely on.

Fantastic experience: It was great. I made appointment over the phone for Sandie to visit and get her medication. We arrived for our appointment, weighed her in. Sat down to await our appointment and within about 5 minutes we were given her medication without seeing the vet. Very quick turnaround.

Negative experience: Attended Balcatta Vet24 with my dog after he punctured his oesophagus with a stick. I was told it would be two hours before he would even be triaged, despite the seriousness of his symptoms. I made the decision to leave and drove straight to Perth Vet Emergency Yokine, where staff were shocked that my dog had not been triaged immediately given the presentation. The lack of urgency and care at Balcatta Vet24 was extremely disappointing. When it comes to emergency veterinary care, this experience showed a concerning failure in assessing critical symptoms. Save your pet and go to Perth Vet Emergency Yokine instead. Staff member involved Rosie has already been mentioned in previous reviews so they clearly haven’t learned.

Negative experience: We took our dog to Vet24 Balcatta on the 5th of January 2026 after 7pm. We were told the wait was 5 hours. We waited until we realised Rose/Rosie at reception kept putting us off and started taking people ahead of us, who came after us making believe they were serious cases and one was an appointment, when he was not. After five hours we were then told there would be a wait of another two hours. We understand busy but this is absolutely unprofessional. One vet kept chatting to her friend instead of attending to a patient. In case of emergency use Pet Emergency/Vet24 in Yokine.
Dear Corrine, We’re sorry for your experience on 01/05/2026 and the long wait. Over the Christmas/New Year period many clinics are closed, which pushes significant emergency demand to us. We triage strictly by medical urgency, so arrival order can change, but you should have received clear, frequent updates.
We take your concerns seriously and will review the shift logs, triage notes, and the report of a team member talking instead of attending to patients. However, publicly naming and shaming individual staff is not acceptable. Please remove personal names from your review.
We’re reinforcing communication and queue updates during peak periods, and we appreciate your feedback as we work to improve.
Negative experience: If you care about your animal, your time, and your money, do not go here. We came in for urgent care and were met with long waits, poor handling, and constant delays while still being charged. Most of the staff we dealt with were nurses/students, not an actual doctor, and it showed in the lack of proper, timely care. There are better places that will actually treat your pet when it matters.

We operate as a 24/7 team, which includes veterinarians working alongside qualified nurses and supervised students we are upskilling as a service to the veterinary community. All cases are overseen by a veterinarian, and this team model is designed to deliver timely, safe care.

Negative experience: This is related to an event that occurred in June of 2025. My little cat was unwell and I took him into Vet24 as an emergency as he had stopped eating and drinking. I believed he had something stuck in his stomach and he had begun acting slightly lame. I was quite concerned, hence took him to emergency. The vet I spoke to did an informal ultrasound and stated that she believed I was correct and that surgery would cost $10k. As I could not afford this, I asked what my options were. She assured me that he would be fine overnight and that I could look for a less expensive solution elsewhere as emergency costs are more expensive. He dramatically degraded overnight and passed away the next day due to a bacterial infection. The amount of emotional pain, even now, six months later is unbearable. Although I will not claim he would have survived for certain had they done their job and diagnosed him correctly, it is certain that them not doing sufficient tests (x-ray, proper ultrasound, bloods) and incorrectly suggesting he would be fine overnight certified that no matter what the next hospital threw at him, there was no hope. This review is not to punish Vet24 but to educate both pet owners and the staff that you must do ALL the necessary testing and not make conclusions you can't stand behind. There is no recourse to this outcome, and a little gentle soul is no longer with us due to a failure of due diligence. I implore your staff to be more educated and professional and thorough in ensuring that any issue is more accurately diagnosed through testing to make sure you are doing your best to improve and preserve the quality of life of these little creatures that cannot speak.
Fantastic experience: We’ve unfortunately had to use their emergency services twice in the past 18 months, but we are so thankful to have access to such an amazing emergency vet!! The team are so caring and genuinely care for the welfare of your animal. Dr Andrew is the best, our most recent emergency involving our kelpie had him trying to help her without putting her through any unnecessary pain or risks. I appreciate him recommending specialist treatment instead of trying to attempt a riskier procedure, while still giving us the option to do so if it was more financially feasible. He called all the specialists and got us in to one close to home and made sure our girl was nice and comfortable u til her appointment, even giving us his best wishes in person when we came back to pick her up. Negative experience: Absolutely disgusting, my cat waited suffering and in pain for two hours and 15 minutes, the triage nurse said it was not an emergency. I pleaded with her and she kept dismissing me. I even told her this is very unfair my cat is suffering, she kept saying there are other appointments before me. You didn’t have to be a doctor to see she was in pain and suffering. I asked for the owners email address and they declined to give it to me. As soon as I got into to the vet, she immediately gave her two types of pain meds and had to be euthanised. I DON’T WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE’S FUR BABY!

Negative experience: Very good vet, but very poor comms. We were told all medcation is charged in full come and collet left over medcation onec stock comes back. If we are paying $700 vist and first medication.will we care about $47 extra left over medication . Its about comms if you said something that should be valued.

The vet Rebecca was first class. Mac seems more settled now. I thought the prices are on par with normal vets also. I thought I would of paid a premium being out of hours but no. Thank you so much

Fantastic experience: Unbelievable! I was blown away with the professional level of service and care from all staff I came in to contact with, you'd think they were working to survive on tips, really refreshing to experience. In addition my pet received the focussed attention and care I'd hoped for. I'm switching from my regular vet to these guys.

Fantastic experience: We had to unexpectedly had to say goodbye to our little cat Zelda yesterday 7-11-25. She was very sick and needed emergency care which she received and all staff went above and beyond for our Zelda with love and care for her and us her human parents as she transitioned to the rainbow bridge. Thank you to everyone that was there for Zelda and us. I highly recommend coming here for all pet emergencies.

Positive experience: I mean the vet is ok, but I've been disappointed going there. This time I was disappointed because I rang about my dogs eye injury and came in at 6am. I wouldn't have hurled myself out of bed if I didn't think my dog had a risk of having a deterioration of her eye. But I would accept if I got there and they told me it wasn't urgent. Instead I sat there for 50 minutes until I decided to ask what they thought about my dog because three of them were standing around chatting. And then the girl goes, "I was just about to triage her, but she looks fine to me so I guess I think you'd have to wait another hour to an hour and a half". So my problem with this was that, if you don't think it's urgent like just tell me and I can go and sort something else out. I was upset that she hadn't been triaged though, obviously I also understand that there are sicker pets there, I did see one myself, hence I was waiting without the pressure. I was a just disappointed that the injury was so brushed off though, like she did have an ulcerated eye in the end and these things do get worse pretty fast, I mean I'm not an expert but I'm also not asking for the world here. The conversation that mentioned it wasn't urgent took 2 minutes you know what I mean, and I wasn't asking in the middle of a seriously sick alternative pet being there. I guess all I would be asking for is some basic communication, rather than dismissal for not being the expert on timing here.
Fantastic experience: All the staff involved with treating my dog in an emergency were very professional, knowledgeable, experienced and conmunicated clearly throughout the whole process
Negative experience: 1) this vet is significantly more expensive than other vets (which is fair considering their 24.7) however... 2) We brought our cat in that had a felion disease. The vet knew he needed all his teeth removed. This fact was later confirmed by a vet that specialised in animal dentistry. But instead of advising us of what needed to be done. They choose to tell us best idea is to just removed a few teeth and the maximum it could cost is 2 grand. They then charged us the full amount for only taking out a few teeth? Then in a couple of weeks later our cat had the inevitable teeth side effects reoccurring from the same disease. When we took him back they said the same thing, you can take out a few more teeth again! Then they would of charged us the maximum amount again! Costing us 4 grand in total. Then we would of had to do that again...6 grand! Then they took it even further to say that they don't do full mouth extractions, but then why does say on their website they do??? Then we went to see a cheaper vet for a full mouth extraction. They only charged us 2.8 grand. If we listen to their advise this whole event could of cost us 9.5 grand, when we could of just done a full mouth extraction at the beginning for 2.8 grand. Again this fact was confirmed by the vet dentistry specialist and vet 24.7 knew this could be done because they printed out a document telling us this but forced us to only take out a few teeth. Not only could this have cost us way more than necessary, but our cat went through way more pain and was on brink of death which was not remotely necessary. Dont fall for this cheap trick. Do your research and find a better vet.

Fantastic experience: Highly recommend Vet24. We needed a vet appointment after hours when we were worried about our dog. The staff were so good with her, and the vet explained things very clearly, presented several options and was very reassuring. The fee was very reasonable for a thorough consultation at 11pm! Negative experience: DONT TAKE YOUR PET HERE, most unreliable and unprofessional veterinary. They make you wait for hours when you have an appointment. They make you go to multiple unnecessary visit just to make money . I have been living in Balcatta for 12 years and everyone around this area knows about their waiting times and expensive fees. They blame the waiting times on emergencies however been in the waiting room for hours and did not see one emergency come through . Plz do your research and go else where to avoid disappointment and save your money .
Fantastic experience: My beautiful elderly lab suddenly developed an eye issue where she couldn’t open her eye. I called my usual vet and they suggested I take her immediately to Vet24. From the moment I walked in staff were fabulous. Kind, friendly and gentle. Murphy suffers from anxiety (which makes her very loud) and we were offered a room straight away to try to help her calm down. The vet was amazing. Patient and gentle and thorough. She explained each step and rationale for the intervention. I thought the $$ very reasonable and the care wonderful. I am pleased to know about about this service with 2 elderly dogs.highly recommend.

Fantastic experience: Cannot recommend more highly! We got our cat a little over a year after my dad passed as a companion for our mum. Since then she's been stuck by mum's side like glue. That's 16-17 years of loyalty and companionship. When she hurts, we hurt. The staff were so sympathetic and gentle with a predominantly indoor cat who stresses when out of her comfort zone. Negative experience: Balcatta Vet24 is the worst vet I have ever encountered. At the beginning, the staff were polite and helpful, and willing to perceive to help our dog. But this changed later on. The pricing is overpriced at this place. There was no explanation as to why multiple vets needed to look at our pet. Each vet check up charges $180 just to look at the dog for a mere few minutes. Same with nurses as well. The first few vets showed empathy to an extent. The remaining ones do not show any empathy into the quality of life for dogs. Be very careful about leaving your dog with them for an extended period, especially when they are sick. They charge a massive amount just for your dog to pee. $70+ just for a single toilet trip. I’d recommend you’d visit another vet, than this one. Go to a vet, that has staff that will genuinely care about your dog. Definitely not this place.
Negative experience: Found a hard lump on my cats throat Saturday arvo so rang Balcatta vets to ask if I could bring her down asap. I said I may be a few dollars short of the $120 consultation fee and the rude receptionist told me it was now $130 and that I'd need to have the full consultation fee. Even though I'm stressing hard because I'd just found this lump on my cats throat. It was 7.30 when I arrived. I was shown Into a room in about 30 mins. A nurse came in told me she'd take my cat out the back for a bit. When she returned to the consultation room with my cat she said they couldn't see anything in her mouth but her oxygen intake was good and now there was a long wait for the veterinarian to see me. 2 golden hours of stressful bliss it took before the veterinarian finally showed up. Only to be told she can't diagnose the lump without getting an x-ray that was going to cost me $1124. And it couldn't be done until tomorrow - Sunday and thirdly I wouldn't even get the results back until mid week..I was in utter shock. I told her I couldn't afford such an extortionate price and started putting my cat back in her Carrier. The veterinarian - who id never seen before nor felt comfortable with right from the start snapped at me 'well I'm sorry I didn't tell you what you wanted to hear'. I had to pay $130 for a consultation - only to wait 2 HOURS, and to be told after that lonnnnng wait that she cant diagnose it and only an x-ray would. What a waste of my time. What a waste of my money. They could have told me over the phone they had no intention of trying to show some Genuine compassion and that an x-ray wouldn't have been possible at 9.30 at night-YET- call themselves a 24 for emergency specialist vet. LOLL. Ridiculous. Today I went to Swan Veterinary Clinic. Without a booking. I walked in greeted by an exceptionally friendly reception. I waited less than 10 mins and I was called in where I was greeted by an exceptionally warm and friendly male veterinarian who in less than 20 minutes told me- the lump in my cats throat is not cancer, it's not a tumour. And it's not a cyst. He also said it will not require an x-ray, ultrasound nor surgery. He checked her temp which was slightly up. Observed 2 small but very noticeable wounds on my cats gums. Noticed a partial area of her palette was swollen and discoloured. Put two and two together and said the lump is caused by an infection and so he administered an anti inflammatory and an antibiotic into my cat. Sent me home with a syringe of antibiotic paste I'm to administer over the next 5 days to my beloved cat. Said come back in a week for a recheck but he strongly thinks the lump will resolve itself in two days. Bing bang. Fantastic service. So warm, compassionate and friendly. Total opposite of Balcatta in my experience on Saturday night. Money hungry grubs. Money driven there is no truly genuine compassion for owners and their pets it's all about how much money Balcatta vets can extort with their ridiculously high prices. Some of their staff shouldn't be working around ppl as it requires a certain level of empathy and I wasn't awarded any of that Saturday night. I paid $130 just to wait 2 hours to be seen, and be told she's not willing to give me a diagnosis unless I get an x-ray at $1124. How anyone can afford that is beyond me. Just to spade a female cat it's $380. Utterly ridiculous. No wonder there's an out of control stray/ unwanted cat population out there. No one can afford to sterilize their animals. Balcatta you should be ashamed of yourself. Go to Swan vets. $80 consultation fee. Genuine friendly and caring staff that warmly greet you and vet nurses and veterinarians who actually have the education, training and experience and above all EMPATHY it takes to truly care for people and their beloved precious fur babies. Stop pretending because your not fooling anyone. Just taking advantage of struggling ppl trying to do the right thing by their pets/ babies. How dare you charge so god dam much for everything. Shame on you. Shammmmme

Fantastic experience: Emergency c section at 2am, all options available explained to me, good and bad points. Exceptionally caring. Given a coffee and blankets as was in pjs without asking. Very compassionate and professional. Thank you. Even though we lost a puppy they did everything they could to try to save it and cause minimum discomfort for the mother
Fantastic experience: Our dog was critical and our own vet recommended Balcatta vet 24. They were everything you'd hope for when your dog is so sick. Everything was explained clearly, we were given time to talk through our options. They were very thorough, honest and caring. Our dog ended up being there for almost 24 hours and was looked after extremely well. Hopefully, we won't have anymore emergencies, but if we do, we'll be back. Thank you to the whole team involved.
Fantastic experience: I don’t think I’ve ever posted a public review before, but here I am because I simply can’t speak highly enough of these guys. My dog Leo is super anxious and dog-reactive, both of which the team at Vet24 do everything in their power to accommodate, including bringing us straight into a consult room to wait away from other dogs, and allowing for decompression time in the consult room. The reception team are so understanding and friendly, even though they’re clearly flat out and the vets are so professional and truly care. I know finding compassionate care can be hard, so let me just say: I cannot recommend this vet enough. Your pet will be in very capable and caring hands.

Fantastic experience: Took my blue heeler Winston in last week he was shaking , heart racing and wobbly as he had ingested something toxic. I cannot praise all the vets and the receptionists enough. They were so kind and professional and took such great care of Winston when my world was falling apart thinking I would lose him. To the beautiful reception who even washed my jacket when it had been vomitted on thank you for you kindness❤️ and to you all thank you for looking after our beautiful boy

Negative experience: My 3 month old puppy had a bad fall and landed on her head. I rushed her to Balcatta Vet24 for help. On the 7th of July I lost my precious boy of 12 years Benji. My other dog Micky had died 4 weeks before from cancer and i was just devastated when they had to euthanise Benji. I was given an account to pay in 7 days and upon leaving i asked if there was any further charge and i was told no. I didn't receive any compassion from the receptionist as the tears streamed down my face.They didn't even send a card or call to see if i was ok. The account was paid in full.I have MS and currently have a bleed on my brain which made things so much worse. So anyway this woman appears and says i still owe 120 for Benji. I told her what happened on the day and that i asked reception if there was anything else. I also said no one bothered to check in on me or anything. She replied with, you can just leave. I wont go into anything further. Just know i well and truly stuck up for myself. I went to another hospital who were fantastic. Balcatta Vet24 has lost me forever. They don't care about your animal, and just want to take all they can get. Ive never left a bad review before. Today has been extremely traumatic for me. Thank God puppy is fine

Fantastic experience: Thank you so much for such a smooth process. I was surprised that there were multiple receptionists available as we arrived. Other vets there is only one and they are usually very busy attending calls and other clients that there is a 15-20 min wait on arrival. We were able to be attended to pretty quickly and the vet was very calm and communicated well of what she was doing, her analysis of the situation and the suggested options and outcomes for each option and pricing. I was also amazed at how affordable the appointment was as well. Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience: Our very pampered slightly neurotic and overly-loved Burmese, Lexie has just had dental surgery. The Vet, Rebecca, rang us part-way through, to explain the x-ray findings and to discuss extractions. She was super informative and empathetic and we felt Lexie was in very capable hands.

Negative experience: Quoted me $5000-$7000 for 1 night because my cat had a urinary blockage. I understand it’s an emergency vet but that’s a lot for 1 night. They told me to euthanise because I couldn’t afford it. The stress they caused me during this time was horrible. Of course we are going to listen to professionals but telling me to euthanise was insane. They still charged me for an extended consult even though they didn’t really consult extensively. The consult was short, spoke about prices, jumped straight to surgery telling me it would be expensive, and when I couldn’t get approval from vetpay for the amount they were asking they told me to euthanise. They didn’t recommend any other treatment/options. Went to Hanley vet the next day and his treatment for extended consult, check ups daily, medications, catheterisation, anesthetics, X-rays, etc only cost me $700. I’m glad I didn’t euthanise my poor cat because he’s home and fine and got the proper care.
