Fantastic experience: Yesterday our beautiful toy poodle Rio was hit by a car. My husband rushed her to Hanly Veterinary Clinic in Maddington, completely distraught. Rio was his world, his constant companion 24 hours a day. The team immediately dropped everything to try and revive her. Although she was already gone, the care and urgency they showed in those moments meant more to us than we can express. What stood out most was the compassion. The staff did not just treat Rio with dignity, they looked after my husband. They made sure he was safe to get home in his state of shock. They followed up with a phone call. Today we received flowers. These are gestures we will never forget. I have never even met the team personally, yet I feel immense gratitude for the kindness they showed our family on the worst day of our lives. Our world shattered yesterday, but their compassion softened something that could have been even more traumatic. We cannot thank the team at Hanly Veterinary Clinic enough. Truly good people exist in this world, and we experienced them when we needed it most. Thank you for caring not only for our girl, but for us.

Fantastic experience: Hanly veterinary clinic is somewhere I will recommend to anyone, my dog had swallowed a corn and the cob and they were so lovely and did everything they could to help us in the situation we were in. I am so grateful for all the help from the beautiful team, especially the ladies at the front who went above and beyond for us which we are so grateful for. Hazel is still a puppy and the last two days have been to stressful but with the help from the amazing team we go through it.

Fantastic experience: I have been visiting Hanley Veterinary Clinic for years. First with Rambo our dog who passed in 2014 RIP. Then 3 cats, Khatoo passed from old age as he just arrived on our doorstep 1 week after Rambo passing. My last two go with no problem for their yearly jabs. We were feeding a stray for years and he looked liked he was getting mange and had difficulty eating. We took him to HVC&H and they did blood tests and found he had aids and a bad virus. I paid to put Blackandwhite to sleep and HVC&H helped to pay for the incineration. The Vets are all wonderful. Good pricing and yes, I will only go there with my tribe. Cheers Milly

Negative experience: Brought my daughter’s kitten in for vaccination and chip, the vet gave the instruction to the assistant to hold the cat down and she must be new because she had no idea what she was doing, our cat got hurt so badly that the vet said he would rather hold the cat, and had to get another chip needle because the first one popped out…Its a day later and out kitten still seems hurt and now doesn’t even want to eat. And the Vet’s response after this trauma… don’t worry they have short memory span.

Fantastic experience: Our little puppy went missing for 10 days after her 2nd vaccine, it was a very sad and stressful time for us. We were really lucky to have gotten her back on Christmas Eve. As soon as I found her I called Hanly and even though it was the end of the day and they were closing up for christmas, they waited for us so that my girl could be checked out, vaccinated and micro-chipped. They didnt rush through it and spoiled her with cuddles, treats and presents. I am so grateful to have my girl back and to have such an amazing team of people at Hanly who really do care. Highly recommend..

Fantastic experience: I’ve been taking my girl here since she was a kitten and have always had a great experience. The team is so gentle, patient, and genuinely caring — they treat every pet like family. Most recently, I brought her in for her yearly vaccination and check-up, and they were so thorough in making sure she was comfortable the whole time. My baby always leaves calm and happy, and that says a lot. Highly recommend this clinic to any pet owner who wants their fur baby in loving, capable hands.

If you're after a vet who cares and you're animal comes first than this is the place you need to come. All the staff I encountered are absolutely kind and welcoming, my dogs thinks highly of them too.

Fantastic experience: From my initial contact with Rheynece, I found her to be so easy to deal with, I had a lot of questions and a lot of unknowns which she offered to retrieve information required from other previously used Vets, discuss requirements with the surgeons and advise me of the outcomes to prepare for a spaying surgery for my 2 girls. To be honest, from the upfront advertised clear set pricing and the amazing customer service, it almost felt too good to be true. Upon visiting on the day, all the staff seem happy welcoming and really easy to deal with which was great as this procedure made me a little nervous and same as my dogs, I had requested to be present while one of my dogs was put under and that was no problem with the doctor. The doctor/doctors were both great friendly and understanding as well as the staff weather nurses or admin everyone was just great. Communication was up kept and I had a call to say that they would be ready in about an hour to collect as they were slowly waking up following their completed surgery. There was no hidden costs and all medications for this procedure was included. I could not recommend Hanly vets enough, I did a lot of research before and I see why their reviews are as such. My dog's are so close to me they are my family they are like my children and I felt that this vet and ✨Rheynece✨ especially!!!! really understood that.

Fantastic experience: I've been to Hanly Vet many times over the years and I've always come away feeling like I'd done the right thing by my pets. In recent months due to the extent of injuries to my dog, multiple visits were necessary for surgery and regular checks to monitor his progress, redress wounds etc. Regardless of who I interacted with, be it support staff, management or the various vets I always felt that they were genuine in their care for the pets being brought in and their owners. I also really appreciated that they went out of their way to take a chance in trying various methods of treatment to give my dog the best chance to recover. I have no doubt that their care and expertise helped speed up my dog's recovery and prevented a nasty ear infection that if not treated properly could have required an amputation.

Fantastic experience: Thank you to the team at Hanly vet. They have looked after our 11 year old shar pei and was amazing and so caring the day we had to say goodbye to our beautiful boy. The team were so caring, let us spent as much time with him as we wanted and kept checking on us. A few days after we had to say goodbye to our boy we were so surprised to get a delivery of our boys paw prints, candle and a handwritten card which was so thoughtful and kind of the whole team. Thank you again to the amazing team at Hanly vet for making our last moments special with our boy.

Fantastic experience: We have been taking our animals to Hanly on and off for years. All the vets and reception staff nurses are lovely and the prices are reasonable. They even offer discounts for seniors. My cat Dee Dee has had an issue bringing up her food for a number of years. I’ve taken her to other places that are closer and no one has diagnosed the issue. The vet, Hailey gave her a steroid injection last week and at last Dee Dee is better. Best vet ever. I’d recommend Hailey from Hanly vets to anyone.

Positive experience: My 3 stars are based on my previous dealings with this Vet. Unfortunately today as I couldn’t get through on the phones I went in to get a repeat script. The first young girl was lovely, she went to check and then out came out an extremely rude and aggressive women berating me in front of other customers. She had all her information wrong. I only came in as the phones weren’t working, I would have completely understood the need for a review of my cat before a repeat script. But instead of advising me of that and organising for me to bring my cat in. She came out immediately saying “you’ve been told several times you can’t have a repeat without a review” Which wasn’t true, I hadnt spoken to anyone about it yet at all, she then stated “you were told to come back a week later which you didn’t do” again not true. She obviously was under the presumption I was expecting a refill then and there. Instead of asking questions and helping me, she came out with her facts all wrong and extremely rude. So sad as I have spent thousands managing my cats diabetes with this clinic and hours upon hours of waiting every visit. Now I will go elsewhere after how I was treated today.

Fantastic experience: I had a fantastic experience with Hanly and can’t recommend them enough. When my regular vet wouldn’t see me in an emergency situation I called Hanly and they asked me to come immediately even though they were busy at the time. My Dachshund puppy was sent for an X-ray and then straight into surgery. They stayed back after hours to do what was necessary. My final bill was much cheaper than what I was told it would be, they could have taken more from me but chose not to. All staff very friendly and professional. Negative experience: I came to this clinic quite hopeful, they're very highly recommended for ferrets so I thought I was in good hands. I brought my ferret in with some hair loss issues - the vet assumed adrenal disease or seasonal hair loss, didn't really discuss or talk about anything other possibilities. Said that they don't have the equipment to diagnose it and gave me a list of two other vets that should be able to do an ultrasound to diagnose it. I called both places and neither were able to help, one of them them didn't even accept ferrets at clients! I've since found out that there are only 2-3 places in Perth that are able to do this and all require a referral, something this vet should of known. I then went to a different clinic who was a lot more thorough in the examination and explained things a lot more clearly. I definitely wouldn't take my ferret to Hanly again and wouldn't recommend other people to either

Fantastic experience: My Sharpei dog, King, has been very sick and I took him to this Vet Clinic 3 weeks ago and found that he has only a short time to live! I didn't want to make the decision to end his life even when the blood tests showed extreme results. I told the Vet Dr Massaki that I wanted King to live as long as he could. Since then, the Vets and the staff have been trying to help my dog to have less stress by giving him fluid treatment into his skin above the neck and not to stay in the hospital. King is now getting to eat a bit more, less vomiting, put back the weight he has lost for the last 3 weeks. Everyone involved has been very helpful and professional in their work throughout this experience, and my dog King is still looking great to his 'end of days'. I highly recommend Hanly Veterinary Clinic & Hospital to look after the welfare of your pet dogs or cats.

Fantastic experience: Cant recommend this vet enough - After being refused care at another vet because I couldn't afford their ridiculous prices, hanly veterinary clinic offered even better care at a fraction of the price. The care was second to one, the staff were lovely and transparent with the whole process, clearly communicating costs and steps of the procedure. DEFINITELY OUR FOREVER VET FOR OUR FURRY FRIEND. amazing prices, clear communication, lovely care of animals and so much more. Absolutely love this vet.

Fantastic experience: Friendly and passionate staffs who care for your pets. We sent both our male and female cats to be desexed, and they handled everything with ease. Our cats didn't seem bothered by the procedure, which means they did a great job. The cats were just fine and active as usual, even right after the procedure. After 10 days we went back to have the stitches removed with no issues. Their rates, I believe, are among the cheapest or at least very affordable.

Fantastic experience: Well today was a blessing and this is what happened. My dog wasn’t well and I had been working away and my brother rang me and I turned up that following night . I could see that my best mate of 13 years wasn’t himself . I slept with him which I have done from the beginning at 6 weeks and I knew that in the morning I’ll have to make the call . I rang the vet clinic where he goes and booked the appointment. Then a friend of my twin brother suggested to take it to Hanley , a private practice and very good friendly people . So I thought why not , no appointment it was I guess an emergency as I wanted something now as my appointment was late morning . Straight in the door told the ladies I don’t have an appointment but my dog is very sick and told them what he was doing , gave them details of my dog , residence etc . I went to the car and picked him up as he had collapsed and there was the door opened and nurses or assistants there in readiness . What I saw was the closeness of the group rallied around my dog sent tears inside and my eyes began to water . Wow! They care about my dog without hesitation , empathy at its highest , the urgency to ensure my dog had 110% full commitment to help save my dog . That broke me a big softy I am but seeing that I thanked god that my brothers friend told me and him these people are very caring with empathy to match . The reassurance they gave me was professional with that emotional support that I got to feel as a man that I was in the right place . Hours later I picked my dog up and thanked them for the day, commend them and reassured me that they will take care of him and they did . So if you want peace of mind about the care of you pet then these wonderful people are the real deal . They care and I commend them for what hey do to bring our love ones to good health , god bless them all and thank you

Negative experience: Rushed my girl to the vet last Monday where she was experiencing severe gastro. Vet wasn't very bothered when my dog was streaming bloody water from her behind all over the surgery floor and was in no rush to help her, while I was crying and my ex was horrified. Eventually took her out the back. Couldnt xray her fot a while as vet was busy. They didn't start giving her fluids until a couple hours after her admission. Had to take her back the next day and waited nearly 2 hrs from our scheduled appt with only a few pets in front of us. Submitted my insurance claim the day after our first visit. Insurance company advising no contact from the vet. Called vet to be told that they are working on her consult notes and they are short staffed, it will take a couple more days, RACQ calls me today (9 days since submitting my claim) informing the vet has advised it will be a further week for the consultation notes for my claim. Absolute joke. Quick to take your money but once they have it they couldn't care less and drag their feet. This is just not good enough. I am appalled. Won't be recommending or bringing any pets back to Hanly.

Positive experience: Although we called twice in advance when we arrived we were not booked in & it was for a sedation service. Waited for over an hour & was given quite high quotes. Service ppl were lovely just a bit of a hiccup. Would go back there though.

Fantastic experience: We lost our beautiful ragdol cat Louie today, after Hanly tried their best to save him. Having two kids and Louie being everything to me working from home, and to my kids, they gave us the opportunity to say our final goodbyes, to them they didn’t just see Louie as another cat or animal, but they treated him like family. I can’t thank everyone who works here enough, you were all amazing and treated us with patience and respect. Even after we left, they called me and made sure we’re okay and gave us the most amazing service I’ve ever received.

Fantastic experience: Wonderful Clinic Have been coming here for over 25yrs , and as you can imagine in that time we have had lots of pets , all rescued and Of all ages and eventually all kinds of problems , Hanlys have been EXTREMELY caring to all our beautiful pets . Very Knowledgeable vets , and great Vet nurses who are absolutely brilliant with our terrified of EVERYTHING Pit Bull (they just have a specail way with him ) They don't charge ridiculous prices infact I'd challenge any one to find cheaper , you won't!! This proves they hold a animals well being 1st .. We couldn't continue to home rescued pets if it wasn't for caring Vets like Hanlys , it makes a massive difference that you don't chase the big $$ like other vets . THKU ‍⬛

Negative experience: Always have to wait never on time. Tried to kill my dog diagnosed wrong couldn’t walk at all, was back ever 2 weeks. Changed vet they conveniently blocked out his surgery from May to November. He’s now running and jumping. Have also diagnosed our French bulldog wrong so we have to get our new vet to re advise insurance in case god forbid it ever happens.

Negative experience: If I could rate this 0 stars I would, staff were all extremely rude after I had found a tiny kitten on the side of the road. They expected me to keep it locked in my bathroom after I told them I have two cat aggressive dogs and two toddlers. After I repetitively told them I cannot keep it they were all scowling at me and treated me like I was the bad person Absolutely disgusting place and disgusting people

Negative experience: every time i go there a lady in her mid 40's.. tell boring stories and asked what colour jocks im wearing. im over it!! when i book my pet the for appointment!!! it alway a week later!! after 10 plus years time to move on.

Positive experience: Known the owner for a long time, I know he's a great guy. Had a very unfortunate experience with a staff worker putting down a family pet without any form of sedative and our poor girl made the most awful noise.... Definitely gave me reservations about going back there for a little while. However, during my last visit I was dealing with yet a different staff member and he was incredibly helpful, answered all my questions with no hesitation, drew a little diagram when I expressed confusion and was very, very kind and polite when dealing with both me and my cat (who is twelve, a big, old boy). The only thing I can say is make sure you ask for your blankets back! I had to go back and ask for mine the next day as I hadn't noticed they had actually taken it out of the cat carrier on our way home. The blanket held familial significance and yeah, was not expecting to have it taken from me even if it was by, "accident". They'd laundered it and everything and said that it, "Must have gotten mixed in with our stuff" which is near impossible considering my cat was taken to an operating room so, why would the blanket have been taken from the carrier in the first place? In any case, aside from the one vet whom I will not name as they still work for the clinic, I can vouch for the owner and the other staff members at Hanly. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Fantastic experience: I recommend this veterinary practice. Although they were busy and I had a long wait before my cat was seen to, they waived some of their fees and had done thorough tests to find the cause of the illness that was affecting my cat. It wasn't good news but they are giving my cat the best chance of getting better.

Positive experience: So I went to Hanley veterinary clinic as I’d been there 4 years ago they were polite.The only difference from when I went before they were very busy you couldn’t get a straight answer,wanted to get some information from the vet after we picked up the puppy and had to wait to long.I know there prices are good but I think I’ll just go local from now on and pay the bit extra for a more personal interaction

It was such a stressful time not just for fyfey but myself also and the vet and staff did an amazing job at keeping me informed and making fyfe feel comfortable for his 3 day stay, ensuring he was 100% before sending him back home. Fyfe is back to his great old self casing after birds the mail man Thank you once again guys!

Negative experience: Don't make bookings you guys can't keep 9am booking on sat and still waiting at 10am and hows the sign what joke complaining about it go esleswhere that's a great business modo how about book an hr later instead of wasting people's time

Negative experience: Very busy, waited a long time to be told my dog prob has bone cancer, to find it was arthritis (not good practice to state things like that to vulnerable pet owners)...

Fantastic experience: I have been taking my beloved fur babies to Hanly vets for over 12 years. I drive 40minutes to go to Hanly vets because I trust them so much. I only trust them because of the decades of years as vets they have under their belts. They truly whole heartedly care for your fur baby and are so amazing at what they do. Some vets want your credit card before they even glance at your pet. Hanly vet are master vets , very well priced and have so much kindness and empathy it warms my heart. I 100% recommend them to anyone.

Fantastic experience: I'm sorry but there isn't a better place in WA than here.. the staff are the best! The Vets are the top of the top. The main thing is that that care.. so dam much! I have gone in a few times and been completely stressed and worried for my Summer, and all of the staff have showed so much compassion and empathy.. The ability to show another person that they care is so rare today. It's a great feeling to go somewhere that shows they will take care of your furbaby as best as possible.. I can't say thankyou enough.. I hope my Summer is well behaved, thank you again..

Fantastic experience: The vets and staff at Hanly have been taking care of my three cats for years. The time finally came when Natasha had to be put to sleep due to failing health. She had been with me for more than 14 years. No words could truly describe the immense sadness in my heart. The staff walked with Natasha and me during her final hour showing care and compassion for both of us. I could never thank them enough. Today I received a parcel from them. It is a card and a small ornamental gift telling me how much they care about me due to the loss of a best friend. It really shows how much they care about animals and their owners. I do not think I can find a better vet clinic than Hanly.

Negative experience: Terrible…if you love your animal, do not go to Hanley. Miss diagnosed2 of my Pomeranians, put them through pain and unnecessary drugs and treatment diagnosing one of my dogs with heart failure, 3 vets at the clinic up to 3 times a week for 1 year, continued to treat a condition that was never explored fully. They guessed. I never got ask to do blood test, they never checked his teeth. Ended up going to have him put down, found Ram from Canning Vale Veterinary Hospital how instantly found the cause of his illness, backed up his findings with blood works and my dog lived for years late.

Fantastic experience: Hanley vet has been taking care of my fur babies since 2017. Unfortunately one of my cats had to be euthanised recently & the exceptional care they took with me and my cat was second to none! They comforted me with such loving kindness & compassion. And to my absolute surprise a few days later, when I was feeling down and out.. I had a care package arrive with a beautiful card, with my babies paw prints on it And the most beautiful candle. I will treasure this forever and I will be forever grateful for everything they done for me. Not to mention they are the most affordable vet you will find!! Negative experience: My name's Darren and I called up as my dogs tail is broken, they were not able to give me a price on my dogs tail getting docked. They asked me to come down so they could look at it and see if it needed it. After all that I got changed $100 to get a quote for my dogs tail. I'm so angry and upset at this place as it's highly recommended. Very disappointed.

Negative experience: Made an appointment with this veterinary practice after recommendations. The reception team and vet nurses all seemed lovely and helpful. However, the older female vet that I saw was really unhelpful and I had to force her to help my dog. Other vets would give your animal a proper check and provide you with treatment options, this vet didn't. This vet had a 1 second look at my dog's paw and wanted to charge me $1500 for an operation my dog only had a 50% chance of needing. Had to force her to prescribe antibiotics for it to get a chance to heal before undergoing an operation as the last option. My dog's foot has healed up beautifully without operation. Would definitely not recommend this older female vet, her whole attitude seemed very unprofessional.

Fantastic experience: The staff were attentive and kind. They took the time to answer my questions and provide excellent care for my kitten. They went above and beyond on Christmas eve for our little cutie. Thankyou to Gary and the lovely staff for making her first vet experience a breeze.

Fantastic experience: Our beloved Rex saw the staff at Hanley Vet throughout his life with having 5 knee surgeries and unfortunately passing at the age of 4 and a half. The staff at Hanley vet were absolutely AMAZING throughout our journey. They loved and took care of him like he was their own whenever he was in their care. We would recommend Hanley vet to anyone!

Fantastic experience: A good vet that sells "gift cards", for want of a better word, that you can purchase to go towards spaying or castration of dogs and cats. Great idea.

Negative experience: New owners and a complete rip off!! Please do not sign there concent form stating there pricing of anywhere between $600 and $2400 as they will not contact you as we discovered and were left with a bill of $1700 for a small tooth removal.. Completely rude about questioning there extreme pricing and pretty much told us to stick it and pay to get the animal back! Highly do not recommend anymore.

Negative experience: Unfortunately not a great experience. Appointment time was 12.00 however 6 or 7 dogs waiting. I was told about 20 mins wait so I told reception I'd wait in car . Came back in at 12.20 and waited till all other dogs had been seen, I asked reception why I hadn't been seen she replied I thought you said you come back another day. She's kidding right, how about saying something when I came back in at 12.20

Fantastic experience: Very Friendly staff and the doctor really professional. Took my boy in and he can be a big baby but got through without any excess stress. The prices are very good too for check up and medication. Definitely will go here again.

Fantastic experience: I took our sick 12-year-old bird, Charlie, to Hanly Vets. It was our first visit and they could not have been more thorough and compassionate. Sadly Charlie did not survive, but their care and kindness made her last days more bearable. I was very grateful and would happily recommend Hanly Vets for any animal, big or small.

Fantastic experience: My dog is registered with this clinic and he even had a Cruciate Ligament Surgery. They are very busy but polite staff, helpful and I always feel confident to go there. My dog is not very friendly and they always know how to deal with him and always calm and professional. I am really happy with the services provided.

Positive experience: Wait is a bit long. But vet and the nurses seems competent and nice. Good place to bring ur pet for check up etc. Only visit once with my gf dog. Vet know what he is talking about so it is a good vet
